At first glance, Shi does not appear to be very intimidating; his apparent lack of strong demneaor is the source of his brave attitude towards life. Shi can easily be amazed by the simplest things, such as hermit crabs, and can be confused by concepts such as that by digging a hole right next to another he may be unintentionally filling the other hole.
Because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he occasionally is the only person who can see past events that have taken place and realize the true goal, yet at other times he can fall into the simplest of traps.
To compliment Shi's naivety and straightforward attitude, Shi is capable of seeing similarities in things that have little resemblance, but is unable to see similarities with things with obvious connections. In extremely rare occasions, Shi will act serious, if only for a small amount of time. This is often in a scenario where someone did something that wronged either him, a girl, or his friends (or all of the above). Shi also has a trait of not fearing of death. He will often state that if he reaches his goal, that's fine, but if he dies on the way, that's fine too. Shi also has a habit of saying things with a lot more wisdom than he realizes without even thinking or meaning to.
Shi personally would never kill any of his opponents (no matter how cold-hearted they are); it's not a question of morality so much as a matter of punishing the criminal for their crimes - he feels that killing the criminals lets them off too lightly, whereas he considers letting them live to see their dreams be ruined a far more fitting punishment.
Shi is willing to do drastic things to avenge and defend those dear to him, even if it means breaking a promise to his friends. Aside from his own loyalty, Shi also believes that all people should be loyal to their friends, and if Shi sees anyone betraying their own comrades, he would stand up for the victims (even if they are enemies). If Shi finds something he doesn't understand, even if someone explained in detail, he calls it a "mystery thing".
History:
Having his house burnt down due to his families political standings, Shi wandered and lived aimlessly, Until one of his families friends decided to take him in. Although unknown to him the family only took Shi in to boost their own social standings. He was kept a t home were he maid friends with the child of one of the maids. Eventually he grew close to the often playing chess, or Go, one day they made a vow that they would still be best friends no matter what Shi always felt embarassed to know that he was in a higher standing position in their nation and he was forbidden to interact with her other than the traditional servant master relationship.
Than one day Shi had become ill, with a high fever. Most doctor agreed that his life was at an end. But his personal servent never left his side during all that time he developed a romatic intrest in her but never said anything. It wouldnt matter anyway he was going to die, and even if he wasnt social order wouldnt allow it. But as weeks passed his healt gradualy improved the doctors were surprised it happend but took immediate proccedures to ensure it continued to improve. After another few weeks he was fully healed. With his new found view on life he decided to tell his servant girl that he loved her but he was at the age where all males were to join the military.
As a new soldier, he was immediately placed on the front lines. Expecting to fight Soldiers from Britannia, Or the E.U he was horrified to see that the people he fought were Chinese Insurgants. They were nothing more than regular civilians with no real armor or actual weapons. He was told that they were on the brink of a civil war and that troops everywhere were suppose to be scattered to meet the highest points of rebellion and crush the sources of the rebellions. Going down south he was in a new envoironment surrounded in marsh swap like plains. He was informed that the enemy could be anywhere this sent chills to ever soldier in all the platoons.
For years to come he would still have nightmares over the horrors he witnessed in the untamed and uncharted battlegrounds. While they were superior in numbers and weapons, they used the land to their advantage. Hiding in the swamps they were easily able to kill ten to tweenty soldier at night before anyone would realize what had happend. Knightmares were unable to be used in the swamps as the machinary would get stuck in the marsh, not to mention the most dangerous reason the swamp area was so dangerous was because of Sakuradite. Sakurdite was everywhere one false step and you would end up blowing yourself up. What was the most horrifing experience of it all was the fact that the Insurgents used regular civilans as walking Sakuridite bombs. No one was safe if anyone had gone missing for more than an hour you were ordered to shoot them down from far away.
After his mandatory seven years of service in the military he had finally ascended through the ranks to achieve high social status. Although this was only as long as he continued to serve in the military. Although he had no other choice but to serve in the military due to the emerging threat of internationally war most of his days of action are long gone and he finally enjoys the life of peace and tranquilty that he always desired.

*Brief example of Role Play:[/font]
The sky was like the canvas of a painter, the strokes of friary red in the sky from the setting sun were bright and glowed with a distinct purpose. A light wind picked up, a slight shill ran threw the air, hinting of the fast approaching Autumn. The leaves on the trees were starting to fade and the tips were beginning to turn a golden yellow.
Everything seemed so peaceful. Young Academy students were out playing near the edge of the forest, people were fading back into their homes, coming home from a long days work. There was a heavy scent of cooking food traveling around the now city like village of Hidden Leaf. Older students, young Genin were seen sparring and practicing with each other in the alleyways, some were spotted racing through the tree-tops as they fought with each other. Some teams were being supervised by their leaders, and a few chuunin's were out and about.
Kaguya Asaha, was standing in front of a certain gravesite, it was one who visited daily and on the ground of the tombstone was a dozen roses. Kaori Matsumoto beloved sister, daughter, and brave shinobi. Asaha growled lowly to himself, every time he saw her tombstone he felt helpless it was as if his arms were chained up, as if he was blindfold and had been tied up in special chakra made ropes. He was thin, and a little ragged, after all it had been two years since her death and he had not eaten for days, this always happened. Asaha simple lost his appitite. His thoughts lite a burning hellfire in his heart and in his mind, giving him the strength to continue on every day so long as he remembered the vow he made to himself after the funeral.
What he wouldn't give...what he wouldn't give to wrap his hands's around his Kaoris murdere's throat. What he wouldn't give to squeeze there vertebrate straight out through their windpipe! This was all his fault! If it wasn't forthe fact that he didnt leave..NONE of this would have ever happened in the first place! He was going to become an Avenger! And as an Avenger..he would do everything possible to seek revenge for Kaori and protect Shiori! Even if it meant selling his soul to the devil!
But..was it really worth it? Asaha calmed down as his thoughts began to stream again. He lowered his head, closing his eyes. Was all this really worth it? Was throwing away everything he had worth this? Shiori and Kaoris father had told him that many ninja had lost themselves in their puruit of vengence. Why? WHY?! Why couldn't he just let this go he knew he should have came to terms with this by now but he couldnt! He was doing EVERYTHING he could possible do! Yet why was it that he couldnt move on, there were times when he was alone in his bed staring up at the stars and during that time he would think that Kaori wouldnt want to see him destroying himself everyday for something that wasnt going to change. But when those thoughts crept inside his head he would soon hear another voice that told him to continue to push forward.
Asaha sighed to himself, and lifted his head once more, looking up at the the sky. Who knows..only time would tell.
The sun shown down through the canopy of the trees, it was always at this time of day when Asaha left the cemetary. Asaha only stared at the tombstone his heart was full of precious memories of Kaori but at the present moment he had to walk away and resume his regular shinobi duties. He took a step back, sighed deeply and began to walk back to the village. Unsure of whether or not he had anything to actually do today he decided to make some back-up plans. Asaha was still doing research at the library to find any further information on his surname but as hard as he tried there was no public record on them, neither did he remember his mother's name, he was too young to remember that anyways.
He felt that there were more things that he still had to do but they never managed to reach the tip of his mind, he wasnt high ranked enough to ask for Shinobi documents. Before he knew it Asaha was already at the village. The villagers all seemed so peaceful, and happy soon enough he felt their positive energy swarm all around him, this pushed his more depressing thoughts from his mind. Asaha felt the sun blind him slightly, he walked past a crowd of people when he saw a familiar figure. Asaha first thought it was a mirage but it seemed to real to be a mirage.
"Kaori?", he mouthed. He felt his body move faster he walked faster before he broke off into a quick sprit before Asaha was in front of the girl. He stared at her closely, it wasnt Kaori but he knew his mistake immdeiately it was her twin sister, Shiori. Shiori had left on an oversees mission about a year and half, and he was left alone. Asaha had felt deserted for such a long time he was the only one whop had stayed behind in the village while Shiori had gotten to at least leave. Asahas hands immediately latched on to Shioris shoulders. Her black her was now longer than before, bright brown eyes, creamy colored skin and..... now she started wearing slightly less clothes than she use to showing off her figure more like Kaori use to. "When did you get back?" Asaha said in a soft honey toned voice.
Shiori turned towards him when he had asked when she came back. "Oh, er- just yesterday night" Asahas eyes only lit up from their already violet red color, and his famous crooked smile crept up. He was overly ecstatic that his best friend had finally returned from her overseas mission. Although he did want a few questions answered . First he wanted to know why he hadnt seen her at the house if she had already came back last night? Or why Shioris parents hadnt told him that his best friend was now in the village? Afterall, Asaha did have a right to know, he had only been living with the Matsumotos for 13 years. Either way he decided to say nothing and continue listening to her with out bringing up those questions. Than for a brief moment Shioris eyes stared back into his but instead of finding her usually bossy gleam in them he saw something he had never seen in them before. Never the less the stare didnt last long. 'Hn, i guess Shiori must have realized that she was wearing something oppostie of what she wore. Although she doesnt look half bad for a year and a half gone, she certainly is taller and i suppose "more developed" would be a good as word as any to define her figure now. But if memory serves she would probably kick my but if i said it out loud.'
Shiori smirked and she than proceded to jump on Asaha, almost 'glomping him',
'tackling' him down. "It's been so longg pet-sann~~" she said. His eyes narrowed but his crooked smile didnt disappear. He had always hated the fact thatshe reffered to him as pet-san especially because it wasnt fully true. Yes, he hwas living in her house more like a pet than an actual person for the first two years of his life but damn it all that wasnt the case anymore. "Have you been a good boy~?" she asked. Before he could respond to her question Shiori than messed with his hair which always annoyed him. Fortunately, she was acting like her former self eve to the point that she did her equally famous "shiori-grin".
"You know this brings back memories doesnt? " Asaha said, as he stared up at Shiori. "You know as far as a remember you always did like being on top didnt you but you shouldnt do that while were in public." Asaha rolled out from under Shiori and instead lifted her on to his back for a piggyback ride. "As you may already know Shiori ive been a good boy, ive always been a good boy. But anyhow where do you wanna go?" Although he didnt really know or care to know where Shiori actually wanted to go at the present moment Asaha had already a pleace we wanted to go as it was. So he walked to the Konohagakure Shinobi office. To pass the time Asaha decided to make light conversation with her but what he really wanted to know was how she was since the last year and a half. "Shiori.....doesnt this bring back memories too? When we first became genin...wait no. Since i can actually remember you always forced me to carry you everywhere saying that, 'this is for your future trainig' i just cant believe i fell for that stupid lie. What do you remember Shiori?"
