» YOU'RE IN THEN OUTLOOKS
Aloysius is a slender figure, clearly not an athletic person. Yet his posture is upright and he carries himself well composed as proper officer of his rank. His skin is of that pale shade which only a true redhead could have - and indeed, he's hair is naturally of a bright ginger color. Freckles there are none, but accompanied by deep green eyes he does well represent the hints of his family originating back to the original British Isles, be it then the Gaelic side of the story.
His attire usually consist of trousers and a dress shirt, sometimes accompanied by a slipover - especially during the wintertime. The choice of foorwear for him is usually a pair of black, ankle high shoes. At work his uniform is an ankle-lenght white labcoat with a dark green sleeve band of his status at his left upper arm. For work he usually wears also a tie - which he, given the rare occasion, still doesn't wear on his free time.
To Aloysius it is not so much of importance what he looks like, yet with him dealing with highly ranking officers and even royals on almost a daily basis, he's appearance is usually tidy and but slightly nonchalant, just suitable for a workaholic scientist. The colors of his choice do vary, but on no account anything brash.PERSONALITY Aloysius is a pragmatic, yet relaxed person with quite an indifferent attitude towards the world. Basically he’s good humored and has good manners, usually getting along with almost everyone – and if doesn’t, it’s not hard to notice. But he is also someone who doesn’t let people too close to him, finding it kind of hard to trust anyone completely, and so he’s treating them with a certain kind of indifference – basically because he doesn’t want to have any more people that close to him, that they would tear him apart in case he would lose them.
In his hand-picked subordinates he kind of trusts, but given the situation, he still has a tendency to put his machines before people. In that sense, he might appear even a bit cold, but is somewhat misunderstood – it’s not that he doesn’t think anything of the people around him, he just doesn’t express it to anyone. In general, you’ll clearly know what he thinks about e. g. a test screwed or a new part working out well, but when it comes to people, his true feelings are as hard to read as it’s hard for him to read others’.
Though having his indifference towards others, Aloysius is still a pretty open-minded and tolerant a person. He doesn’t tend to judge people only by their appearances, background etc. but through their actions. And indeed he has a tendency to express his feelings and opinions about matters pretty clearly no matter who’s present or whatever the situation, which may irritate some people, even quite a lot.
Affected deeply by the losses of his father and brother, he feels as they have taken their share of his emotions with them to the other world. Due to this he has become kind of a drifter in the world of interaction – he just isn’t quite sure anymore how to deal with other people, as well as not even with his own, deepest emotions. That’s why he’s also afraid of losing his mother – he fears he’d lose the rest of it, and what would become of him, if that were to happen.
But none of this can actually be read of his character or the way he behaves – the only one to know his son’s true state of mind is his mother.
Though being a friend of wines and an occasional smoker, Aloysius has no problems with those in general. He knows his limits and never lets his drinking to affect his work or anything else he might have at hand, nor has he never come to work drunk – maybe with a bit of a hangover, but luckily even after the strongest of liquors, he never seems to suffer from it to the extent that it would affect his normal behavior and/or his line of thought. And what would anyway be a better way to clear out one drunken head, than fresh, cold milk – lots, lots of milk.
Basically Aloysius is one of those, who don’t attempt to be on display. He’s all satisfied with his work (along with his mother’s wellbeing), and whatever he does, he does it accurately and always to the best of his ability - but not for a selfish interest, merely out of his own scrupulousness and a simple joy of doing so.

» MEMORIES, SUPPOSED TO FADERELATIVES Father – Arius Drebbel (former Britannian General, deceased 9 years ago)
Mother – Marjolein Drebbel (born Esp, Dutch origins)
Younger brother – Gervasius Drebbel (former Britannian Captain, deceased a couple of months ago)
HISTORY Aloysius was born as the firstborn son of Arius Drebbel, General to the Britannian Navy, and his wife Marjolein, who has Dutch origins dating back to the 20th century. His childhood was safe and peaceful, full of love and care as their family was a very close one.
A couple of years later also his younger brother was born, with whom Aloysius had especially close relationship.
Thanks to their father’s position, both youngsters received a first class basic education, Aloysius then continuing his studies on a scholarship, attending Pendragon Imperial Institute, while his brother signed for duty in to the Britannian Military as a regular solider. The younger Drebbel wanted to become a Knight of Rounds one day, and thus was the promise between brothers made that when that day would arrive, Aloysius would be the one who would be the manufacturer of his brother’s own Knightmare. Aloysius finished his studies in three years with excellent grades, graduating just to hear the news of his father having accidentally drowned during the Navy’s annual war games.
Something broke inside of Aloysius. After graduating he was employed by the Britannian Military’s Research and Development unit, and he took on his job with burning devotion and exceptional talent, but the once open and social young man was gone. Subconsciously he locked away everything he felt from the loss of his father, thus becoming a man who liked to keep his distance and preferred machines over people. He became a workaholic, appearing good humored and laid back but really was someone to whom no one was able to get a real contact – he was just indifferent. The only people he still was concerned about were his remaining family members.
The time passed, Aloysius made his breakthrough by boosting and adjusting up the Yggdrasil system – that allowing an operation time longer than ever a Knightmare, and also a variety of other updates of his to become usable with adjusted energy output – and gradually he became the chief scientist of the research and development team the Tintagel.
Meanwhile had his brother also advanced on his career, and being a natural talent as a Knightmare pilot, he had become one of the youngest Captains in the Empire's forces. Unlike his brother though, he had yet a long way to go for his goal to be reached, but then he was sent to the frontlines of E.U., and due to nothing else but an unfortunate malfunction in his Knightmare, never came back.
Aloysius was simply stunned – and what he could realize was a total numbness. After his brother died, he simply disappeared for about a month – they say, to support his mother through the hardest times (of course it was true - partly) – and returned as suddenly, along with blueprints for an explosive with so excessive destruction force that the whole plan was sealed right off as a first class state secret.
After that, Aloysius went on like nothing had happened – continuing to keep himself busy with work, though finding a new aspect for it now as doing it also as a remembrance for his brother.

SAMPLE //Ack, I break my policy to post an rp sample written separately for each character I’ll ever make, but now I just want to get this done (I’ve written this profile for about a week now). vv”
Abridged from Lloyd~
After having returned from the battlefield and others having their moment of peace and rest - more or less - had Lloyd anything but time for a break. After all, there were three Knightmares to be repaired and made ready whenever they might have to take action again. The damage had indeed (again) been quite considerable, having made a certain head of the scientific research team Camelot to express his feelings quite furiously to the devicers of those Knightmare Frames.
But now, a couple of days after, the Frames were almost fixed. Lloyd was sitting in his chair at the control room and doing the last adjustments to the now fully repaired Lancelot Conquista, which now also had a simple defrosting system installed in case it would be sent again into some snowstorm. It could be updated if needed, though, but this would be enough for the time being, Lloyd thought. At least Suzaku wouldn’t be able to ‘froze it to death’ next time~
He hadn’t visited the Deputy Vicereine, since there really was no one to push him there. Suzaku had been the whole time in the hospital and Cécile was still on her vacation, so there was pretty much no one to interrupt him working with the Knightmares and make him do something like a courtesy visit. He hadn’t taken contact nor even had thought of visiting the Ashford Academy either, even though he had heard that it had become involved with the battle at least some way. If something would have happened to his fiancé they surely would have contacted him, he figured. So, nothing to worry apart from the repairing of the Knightmares~
Lloyd leaned back in his chair for a moment, and smiled slightly. Half a week’s worth of hard work and all the three Frames were almost as good as new.
It might be just about time for a break, now would it? Yes, almost. Just a li~ittle bit more, okay?
A moment later Lloyd started humming out loud. As he had finished his current doing, had also the Lancelot’s arm received its new painting to cover the renewed, grey metal.
Yes~!
The scientist grasped a mike from the controlling desk in front of him and – finally – called it a day. A loud yell “Omedetô~” rang through the building as the staff of the scientific research team Camelot was congratulated of its job well done and released from its duties for a bit.
