Description:
A relatively good-looking 23-year-old half - his father was Britannian, his mother Japanese. He takes mostly after his father, though there is a slight asian caste to the shape of his dark eyes and his face, and he has his mother's dark-brown hair. Though he won't say why, he's almost always wearing sunglasses.
Personality:
Kazuki is basically a fairly easy-going guy, though not what you'd call the friendliest of people. He doesn't talk a lot - at least, not about himself or his family. Normally though he's approachable, and not particularly hostile, so although he has extremely few friends, he more or less gets along with anybody. He's an avid reader, and an excellent swimmer.
If you pick a fight with him though, watch out. In a hostile situation he is cool-headed, quiet and efficient. He rarely loses his temper, and patience is a virtue he has in spades. He is also a quick learner, an extremely good shot and a proficient swordsman in the use of both long and short blades. Kazuki is an occasional smoker.
History:
Kazuki was born the son of Akane Murakumo, a Japanese archery champion, and Alexander Madigan, a Britannian biochemical engineer who changed his last name when he married his wife in Japan. They had a first son, Kaite, some three years before Kazuki was born. The former was blonde like his father, hotheaded and mean-tempered. Kazuki, the younger, was calmer and closer in disposition to his mother. Whereas Kaite became an exceptionally strong boxer, which he learned from his father, Kazuki took lessons in archery from his mother, and at the age of 11 began to learn swordsmanship in the Japanese manner from his uncle, Murakumo Sousuke. He proved adept as a swordsman, and he had his mother's keen eye. which meant he was an excellent archer.
His whole life changed when his father became ill, and Sousuke took it upon himself to keep his hotheaded older brother out of trouble as much as possible, as well as to aid in the care of 4-year-old Tsubame, his baby sister. Kazuki was 17 at the time, and he dropped out of school to get a job full-time. After some months, he went back to school to finish, but continued working part time. At around this time, Kaite was serving a jail sentence, after which Kazuki was able to convince his employer to give Kaite a chance, and the two brothers began working together.
His father never quite recovered, though he got better eventually.
Five years later, the Britannian nobility invaded Japan, recreating "Area 11". During the course of the invasion, the Murakumos were both deliberately trampled by a Britannian Knightmare pilot. In the intervening years, Kazuki had begun to see a Britannian girl, herself a soldier, who had family in Japan which she regularly visited. She herself was a Half, like Kazuki, though her outward appearance did not show it. Six months prior to the invasion she was recalled to the mainland, and she was a part of the initial landing force, her unit being under the command of one of the rebel nobles.
Shortly after their parents' murder, Kaite was arrested when he became angered at a Britannian officer after an altercation that totalled Kaite's motorcycle. Though the other was at fault, he blamed Kaite, insulting him. Kaite lost his temper and broke the man's nose and three of his ribs. He was arrested and imprisoned without a trial.
With both their parents dead and Kaite in prison, Kazuki was left alone to care for Tsubame, now 9 years old and in school. At this time, he began to experiment with weapons other than the bow and arrow, and purchased a gun for the first time, as well as, with help from a few of Kaite's friends, applying what he knew of swordsmanship to fighting with a more practical knife. In this he was aided by his preference for the shorter wakizashi to the longer katana, though he was equally proficient with both.
It was around this time that he was approached by an old classmate who offered him a chance to fight, by joining the Black Knights...
Goal or Dream:
In short, the defeat, expulsion, and execution of the nobles who invaded Japan, and the release of his brother.

Brief example of Role Play:
Yuusei Fudou sat idly at the counter of the small but pristine automobile repair shop, absentmindedly tinkering with a motorcycle that'd been brought in for repair, when a sudden, sharp pain on the back of his head caused him to turn around.
"Out," aid his mother with a half-exasperated, half-worried look on her face. "You're no good with your hands if your head's in the clouds."
Yuusei backed away, and his mother gave him a genuinely concerned look. "Your Gekka is gone. But remember that as good as it was, a Knightmare's a Knightmare, and no pilot's any use without one."
Yuusei looked over to a large, framed photo on the counter, which depicted himself, both his parents, a few older men, and a red-haired girl a little more than his own age. "Besides, your father would've hated to see you like this, as do I. And she would've hated it worse than anyone."
Yuusei turned to his mother and smiled.
"Thanks, Mom." He hugged his mother and left. As he did, he saw a tall man walking towards the shop, his features hidden by a hooded sweater.
As he passed him, the man turned and walked with him.
"Are you allright?"
-"Yes sir." As he spoke, he pondered his mother's words, and a crazy idea took hold of him.
-"You're going to need a Knightmare, and soon - We never know when the enemy will attack. Will you start training in the Akatsuki?"
-"No sir. With your permission, I'd like to request a specific unit."
An amused sparkle appeared in the other man's eye - Li Xingke was a shrewd man, and he'd already guessed what his subordinate would ask. As to whether it was doable...
