The Icon is the basic Irkalla knightmare. It is a good all-around knightmare, highly customizable, and very agile. Featuring the Irkalla/Aegis synthmuscle system, the Icon has unparalleled mobility. Synthmucle technology emulates human muscles in a synthetic manner. This also makes the Icon rather strong in hand-to-hand combat.
The Icon has no landspinner system. It’s mobility is such that it doesn’t require such. Due to the synthmuscle system and the ergonomic armor it is capable of moving similarly to a human with augmented strength. However, the Icon is a very basic model, with medium/light armor, and it’s design makes it a tad top-heavy. It requires a bit of getting used to it, given it handles very differently from other knightmares.
The Icon can be used for both close-quarters or long-range combat. It also features Irkalla’s traditional cyclops design, with it’s fact-sphere centered on it’s face. Irkalla engineers special fact spheres that bear more armor than the average fact sphere. Additional to the fact sphere the Icon has a line of sensors that runs along the sides of it’s face, allowing for full 180 degree visibility in it’s cockpit.

Description: The Icon follows the norm of Irkalla production models. It bears a very sleek and stream-lined humanoid look, almost looking like a massive-sized fully-armored man rather than a machine. It’s ergonomic armor covers every part of it’s frame, including most joints. The Icon was made to be a basic fighting machine, designed to out-maneuver other knightmares.
The Icon comes in a variety of color schemes. Contrary to other models, the Icon is reserved for Irkalla Corp and is used by Sentinels [Irkalla’s private armed forces]. Aegis has never sold Icons to any other country or faction.
Icons, as mentioned before, are highly customizable. Custom models include heavier armor, float systems, and even energy wings. Being as it is a very basic model, it is capable of holding nearly any additional equipment it’s pilot may need or want. Of course, the models with heavier armor have decreased mobility.
