Equipment and Design Features
The term Landwehr is a term a for militia that could be called up quickly for combat. The German army had several Landwehr Milita regiments. Thus, the Landwehr was built for people who do not usually use knightmares and whom are expected to use them. As a knightmare, the Landwehr's main advantage is its simplified pilot system, allowing even a relative newbie to fight at a decent level TO AN EXTENT (a person at 0-2000 exp will pilot at 2000-4000, and a person at 2000-4000 EXP will fight at 4000-5000, but beyond that point there are no more advances). Also, the Landwehr has a lot of nimbility and adaptibility, at the cost of relatively light armor and few weapons (Its autopilot, nothing more than a program, is simple to replicate if one knows how). It allows two pilots, making it even easier to pilot. Due to Szynwald technology's work on the Knightmare, it integrates the newest in computer technology in addition to pure mechanics, making it a versatile knightmare frame. One advanced feature is the Hive Integration Target Acquirement Interface (HITAI), a program designed by Szynwald that jury-rigs the factspheres of all knightmares with this program together to create a 3-d targeting system that makes aiming easier the more allies you have (each HITAI-activated Knightmare will submit and accept data from a network formed by nearby HITAI Knightmares so that it can create a 3-dimensional interface).

Cost: 1000
Code Name: Hive Integrated Target Acquirement Interface (Ula Zintegrowanego Docelowe Nabycie Porządek UZDNP in Polish) - HITAI.exe
Manufacturer: Szynwald technologies
Part Type: Piloting/Targeting software
Construction Type: Computer Program, compatible with EU Knightmares. Linked to Factsphere interface and Knightmare mainframe. Requires network transmissions to operate.
Equipment and Design Features
A program designed originally for an unmanned knightmare, HITAI is an improvement on older targeting computers mounted on Factspheres. Instead of operating each targeting system individually, like a pack of wolves, it instead organizes it around a hivemind, like a nest of bees. Knightmares with HITAI enabled automatically link with other HITAI-capable knightmares, transferring all data gleaned from factspheres to one another, thus integrating a 3-D grid system that makes targeting much easier and allows a 3-D topographical map of an area. HITAI is no better than a regular targeting system with only 1 knightmare, but becomes the more effective the more knightmares in the network. HITAI cannot operate in a Gefjun field. The relative low cost is because one must pay for at least three of them for three allies to make it anything close to usable.
Development RP: Originally intended for a completely automatic Knightmare, the Partyzant, the HITAI was the only true success of the Szynwald Knightmare R&D Department. It attracted the attention of Panzer-Krupp knightmare works, and the Szynwald was invited into the development of the Landwehr Knightmare Frame. Under Panzer-Krupp, HITAI was modified for the complex piloting system of the Landwehr and then released.

Code Name: Crosstree Lance/Bowie Knife
Cost: 850
Manufacturer: Panzer-Krupp Knightmare Works/Kennedy Enterprises
Part Type: Melee Weapons
Construction Type: Uses simple Energy Conduction principles, but mainly physical.
Equipment and Design Features
Melee weapons designed for the EU. The crosstree lance is simply a lance whose point is spread out like a Latin Cross (with the long end terminating in a point). It allows the lance to be used to block enemy melee weapons and also to be used as a pickaxe. The Bowie knife was a weapon allegedly invented by pioneer James Bowie. Along with the serrated edge, it has a large guard that allows it to block other melee weapons. Instead of the expensive Katen Yaibatou, MVS and Radiation Wave systems, both these weapons simply are open circuits that, once in contact with metal, will release a powerful burst of electricity that can fry other Knightmare circuits, shutting down or damaging the affected part. While it lacks the MVS' cutting power, this ability makes these two weapons good for maiming enemy knightmares.
