Gauron's head impacted, but not where he had intended. Regardless of the largely failed attack, he pressed on. He could see at the very edge of his vision that Makarov's hand had not moved from its position. The knife still dug into Gauron's forearm, but the pain was endurable. His hand latched onto Makarov's forearm like a vice.
When Makarov's leg snaked around his own, Gauron threw his entire weight forward. He wasn't about to leave himself in a vulnerable position on his back in the dirt. Instead, he would try to force that on Makarov.

Aleksei felt Gauron push back nearly knocking him off his feet he took his arm which had taken the headbutt and hooked it around the Gauron's neck and fell backward adding more momentum to the fall when they hit the ground Gauron's head would be forced right into the pavement which of course wouldn't be a problem for Gauron but it would most likely leave him dazed he still noticed Gauron's Iron Grip on his Knife arm another advantage to the move he was attempting is that the blow to the head would most likely daze Gauron and cause him to loosen his grip just like before

They were falling fast. Gauron felt Makarov's arm snag around his neck and start pulling. If he wasn't careful, then the landing would be painful to say the least. He tucked his chin as tight against his chest as he could and concentrated on keeping his grip on the Russian's arm.
Impact. Gauron's head slammed into Makarov's clavicle and bounced up. It hurt, but much less than the ground would have. Most important of all, however: his grip remained strong on Makarov's wrist. Gauron brought his knees up in an attempt to straddle the man under him across the abs. It would trap Makarov under Gauron's superior weight and negate the Russian's agility.

Aleksei would have swore right there and then but he had other things to worry about he glanced around looking for a way to get out of this predicament he still had control of his legs he brought his knee up smashing it into Gauron's spine repeatedly trying to get Gauron off
He kept a tight grip on his Knife keeping his arm holding it in a locked and immobile position enough to make sure that Gauron didn't use his own knife against him while he thrust his arm in the space between Gauron's collar bone and neck and pushed to the right trying to use Gauron's weight against him and flip them over but the man was indeed incredibly heavy even for someone with as much physical training as Aleksei

Gauron tried to lift Makarov's arm but found it immobile. The man was very strong. At the very least, Gauron could manage to keep the knife out of the fight. He lifted his free arm and bent his elbow, intending on dropping his forearm down onto Makarov's throat. As he was about to place it, something slammed into his back.
Given their position, it could only be Makarov's knee. It hit again. Gauron lurched forward. He leaned forward to place his arm in position as the knee hit again. To counter the pressure on his neck - Makarov was trying to push him off - he leaned against it. Again, the knee hit against his spine. He knew that a few more hits would knock him off.

Aleksei saw Gauron lurch forward which mean he was losing his leverage he put more force into the next strike with his knee focusing on hitting the same spot over and over again while he continued to put more effort into pushing Gauron off before he noticed Gauron preparing to cut off his oxygen with an arm to the throat he had to continue his onslaught and prepare to defend against such a movement
His arm was still locked in an immobile position he noticed Gauron's knife still resting across the back of his fingers and grabbed Gauron's wrist and attempted to slide the knife off of Gauron's fingers by the grip of the blade if he could not use it he would atleast take it out of play

Gauron pressed his forearm down on Makarov's throat. How many people had he killed in a similar fashion? Just by slowly squeezing the life out of them? He dismissed the thoughts. There would be time for nostalgia later. For now, he had to concentrate simply on winning while somehow not killing Makarov. He lamented promising Aurora that he wouldn't kill any of her employees. Typically, he wouldn't care one way or the other, but he had the feeling that crossing Irkalla would be a mistake that would take several decades to live down.
All the while, Makarov's attacks continued. The former Spetsnaz soldier had reached across and was trying to pry Gauron's fingers free of the knife. In response, he tightened the grip. As long as his index finger stayed tight, the knife would be secure. Makarov kept on kneeing him in the back, too. Gauron didn't bother counting the impacts. He had just started really pressing his forearm down on Makarov's throat when the man's attack finally had its desired result and pushed him too far forward to recover.
With a final, vicious press against Makarov's neck, he used his knees to propel himself off and away. He rolled head over heels across the dirt before coming to his feet and whirling around, ready to tackle the Russian back to the ground as soon as he stood. Unfortunately, his knife had fallen off during the preparation. There wasn't enough time to collect it and slip his finger back through the ring. He would have to fight without it.

Aleksei quickly rolled to his feet and turned to face Gauron with his knife held with the point facing towards Gauron the blade was far enough forward that Gauron would have to act quickly if he decided to charge
Aleksei's breath was labored as he worked to steady his breath 'your breathing is the essence of your strength' Aleksei thought remembering the things that were drilled into his mind over and over again think don't feel all of those were things running through his mind he looked forward at Gauron it was amazing that he had suffered such wounds and could still fight like this. the shallow cut in his chest was only slightly bleeding the blade of Gauron's knife hadn ot cut any arteries or blood vessels so he didn't have much to worry about

Gauron lunged into action. He sprinted forward with his arms spread wide and a sadistic smile plastered on his face. Makarov's knife was in a ready position and would inflict another injury, but Gauron paid it no mind. With each moment that passed, he found himself respecting his adversary more and more. Even though it wasn't a fight to the death and served no real purpose, he was fighting with everything he had. Gauron couldn't help but hope that he got to see what Makarov did to the people that were actually responsible for his sisters' deaths.
More than that, Gauron hoped that he would be the one who killed Makarov. Such skill, determination, and tenacity were truly rare. When his life was on the line, Makarov would likely fight even harder. There would be less hesitation - if that was even possible, less thought. It would be pure instinct. It would be beautiful.

Aleksei planted his feet on the ground and held his arm up like a sheild with the knife in stabbing position underneath it at the speed Gauron was going he would crash right into his arm throat first which would most likely be a stunning blow then his enemy would be open to any attack he desired but only if it obtained the desired effect also more and more Spetsnaz teachings flowed through his mind like a river but his movements were like a typhoon quick and destructive something inside him was enjoying this but his Spetsnaz mind focus kept those emotions locked away he would have time to revel in victory later if he obtained it

Gauron saw Makarov's stance and lowered his shoulder. It would take the brunt of the collision. He slammed into Makarov's arm and the man's knife dug deep into Gauron's abdomen. It was a debilitating injury that even he would have a hard time coming back from. Even as they were falling again, Gauron could feel blood spilling out of the wound.
As soon as they hit, Gauron rolled off and stood, wobbled slightly. His body would take a little longer to heal from that than his other injuries - the majority of which were already mended. He drew his leg back and sent it forward, aiming for Makarov's abdomen. There was a chance that such an attack would fracture or break a rib or two, but if it came to that, then Gauron would pay for the hospital bills.

"Well that's enough, boys." Aurora's voice came strong and clear as she made herself seen, along with six Elites following her in formation. This was, perhaps, one of the few times Aurora would be seen wearing pants rather than a skirt. Tight micro-fiber armor pants that looked like regular designer ones, tucked into fancied combat boots, her top being a mini-dress of sorts, all black as usual, with a golden belt around her waist. She spun her parasol, her eyes shielded by mirrored wrap-around sunglasses. It was hard to read her emotions at the moment. "Are you two about done trying to kill each other? At first it was rather amusing, but by now it's been drawn for too long and, alas, I find myself bored." even her tone of voice was hard to read. She was relaxed, yet firm, but then again that was normal of Aurora.

Aleksei felt himself get knocked off his feet onto the ground and saw Gauron drawing his foot back to stomp down on his abdomen and felt a sharp pain when the foot came down he rolled to the side right after the attack and stood up quickly he felt the area for any broken bones and felt only soreness and what seemed like a Bruise forming He raised his knife again he knew that it was unfair but if it was another thing he always remembered was that in real combat there are no rules only you and your enemy and if your too weak to do what needs to be done then you should'nt even be there Aleksei pushed the pain back he could still feel the pain from the bruise throbbing but ignored it and dashed forward before jumping to the side and aiming a slash at Gauron's side

Gauron jumped out of the way of Makarov's attack just as Aurora began speaking. When he landed, he turned to face her. She was surrounded by guards and wore an unreadable expression. He was sure that they were a sight to behold. Bloodied, dirty, breathing heavily. He smiled and removed his suit jacket, revealing his shoulder holster and the pistol that it still held. He gestured to it and said "come now, Aurora. If I had wanted Aleksei dead, he'd be laying in a pool of his own blood right now. Think of this as my way of welcoming him to the Irkalla family."
He looked at the Russian. "That was fun, wasn't it?" Gauron had lost. Plain and simple. Aleksei Makarov was just better at hand-to-hand combat. That was the only thing that Gauron's father had ever told him that he believed: "there's always someone better." That had been over a century ago.

Aleksei backed off when he heard Aurora's voice "Yes Gauron and I were just having a friendly match" Aleksei said he had throughly enjoyed the fight but slowly the pain from his injuries began to catch up with him as he came out of his combat high he glanced at Gauron and noticed the shoulder holster he smirked "If you haven't noticed Gauron your not the only one carrying one it may be old but it still gets the job done" Aleksei said gesturing to his own firearm it was more like an antique it was an old M1911.45 pistol it was even older than Aleksei was but it was still reliable so he liked using it "Oh and yes that was entertaining" Aleksei said
