Gauron strode through the streets of Narita. He didn't have any business being there, but was in a strange mood. Was it whimsy? Did Gauron possess such a thing? He shrugged off the thoughts as unnecessary and continued on his way.
He found himself at yet another memorial - he seemed to be drawn to them. This one, though, was damaged and in a sad state of disrepair. It was, after all, dedicated to the Elevens that had died in the "mysterious" landslide all those years ago. He didn't know how Zero had pulled it off. He didn't care. All Gauron knew about the situation is that it was a major blow to the Britannian military and more specifically to Princess Cornelia's ego. Both of which were important to the Black Knight's success.
The monument itself was composed of statues of several Burai's standing in a victorious pose. The pedestal that they stood on had once had some sort of tablet on it, but that was long gone. Of the three Burai's, only one had remained even partially intact, and even it was missing a portion of its head. Gauron climbed up onto the plinth and placed his hand on one of the stone Knightmare statues. It had been worn smooth and by the elements and was devoid of any of its previous detail.
"A once proud people..." he said quietly. Their current predicament, as well as their previous one, brought a fair amount of glee to him. Their suffering was the thing of his dreams, really.

Aleksei walked towards the Memorial alone it was uncommon for him to come to places like this it was like he could feel all the conflict that had occured here like he could imagine the last moments of every soldier here before they were buried underneath Mud from the land slide trapped inside of those Metal coffins screaming and trying to escape from they're prison only to get themselves caught up even more "An Entire army died here almost instantly. too easy I prefer a much slower process" Aleksei muttered ignoring the other person at the memorial he lookeds familar but at the moment Aleksei put no effort into identifying him he took small glances at the other person and finally frowned when he realized who it was "Gauron Totschlager... Am I right to believe that your not here to mourn the dead?" Aleksei said glancing at Gauron

Gauron looked over his shoulder at the voice. He wasn't really interested until the man said his name. At that, he turned around. "Makarov," he stated with a fair deal of distaste. Somehow, it felt right to Gauron that he would be looking down on the Russian when they first met.
At the suggestion of his mourning anything, Gauron scoffed. Such a thing was an empty gesture, even for people burdened with such feelings. Grieving over anything was pointless. "Oh, no. I'm just drawn to these places. So much death, so much sadness; it's beautiful." Gauron smiled like a demon before its prey and hopped off the pedestal. "I'd be willing to bet that the memorial that holds your sisters' names is one to remember," he said in a mocking voice. He was looking for a fight, and while he couldn't kill Makarov without getting in trouble with Irkalla, Aurora had never said anything about not having some fun with her other employees. "And I can't help but imagine just how wonderful their deaths were."

Aleksei frowned his fist closed slightly as Gauron mentioned his sisters "I would prefer you didn't speak of my Sisters Totschlager" Aleksei said not exactly losing his temper but he could feel anger building inside of him it was like a small flame that was slowly turning into an inferno his sisters were a sensitive subject that could either lead him to depression or rage he was tempted to pull out his M1911.45 and fire a few rounds into the man but Aurora would not be happy at all to find out that her employees were attempting to murder eachother

Gauron's smile widened. Oh my. Did I strike a nerve?" He laughed and walked within arms reach of Makarov. "That's your one weakness, isn't it?" His tone of voice was cold and mocking. "Your beloved, dead, sisters? It's pathetic that you cling to their memory like that." It was painfully obvious that he was goading the other man into attacking him. "For all you know, I was the man who killed them. What would you do about that, I wonder? If I was the one that made sure it happened?" To the best of his knowledge, he had nothing to do with it at all, but Gauron would play the angle if it meant getting some entertainment.

Aleksei glared at Gauron "My weakness? I'm sorry Totschlager but I don't have one" Aleksei hissed he was now too close to use his gun but he still had his Spetsnaz Ballistic Knife it wouldn't hurt if he stabbed Totschlager a few times its not like he would die he just needed to wait for the right moment He stopped all thought completely when he heard Gauron's words "For all you know, I was the man who killed them. What would you do about that, I wonder? If I was the one that made sure it happened?" Aleksei lowered his head and laughed slightly "What I would do? perhaps it would be better if I showed you what I would do" Aleksei said taking off his suit jacket and pulling his knife out of the its sheath on his belt his M1911.45 was in it's holster on his belt also "How about a friendly match Totschlager I'm sure Aurora wouldn't like two of her possibly best employees killing each other" Aleksei wanted to kill him but he really didn't wish to anger Aurora it didn't seem wise to do so

Gauron's smile shrank. He wasn't displeased. Quite the opposite, he had the feeling that this was going to be rather enjoyable. No, he was simply getting more serious. "No, I'd imagine that Aurora would be rather upset with us if one of us died. I highly doubt that you could ever end my life anyway." Saying that was a gamble, but one that he was willing to take.
He decided against commenting on the weaknesses that emotions brought into every human's life. Makarov would learn that lesson sooner or later. "A friendly match sounds... delightful." He pulled out his own knife - the same one that he had used when he killed General Khalid. He slipped his index finger into the finger guard and started spinning the knife. Hidden within his jacket was his recently acquired Irkalla-made pistol and several magazines of ammunition."Now, come on, you coward."

Aleksei got into the his standard stance it was a mix of diffrent Knife Fighting Styles used by diffrent Special Forces units even some that had died off a long time ago "Quick Strike Retract" Aleksei said to himself remembering the basics of Close Quarters Combat he kept his eyes focused on Gauron every fiber of his being was telling him to cut the man to shreds but Aleksei knew better than that Anger was a strong emotion that had it's uses but it also made people reckless it made it to easy to lose control he had to be precise only barbarians use brute strength alone

Gauron growled impatiently and stopped spinning his knife. Makarov had adopted a stance that betrayed his training. It was a combination of several combat styles and would be useful for their fight. Without a word, he swung his 15-centimeter blade in a wide arc, on level with Makarov's throat. It was a sloppy and inaccurate attack; not meant at all to hit, just to spur Gauron's target into action. "Come on, the suspense is killing me!" He shouted while preparing to guard against Makarov's inevitable counter-attack.

Aleksei reacted quickly to Gauron's first movement and ducked underneath the blade exposing Gauron's entire lower body he stabbed forward with the Blade of his knife "If anything kills you it won't be the suspense" Aleksei said as the blade shot forward toward Gauron's gut a knife to the gut wouldn't kill him but it probably wouldn't hinder Gauron either but if he knew anything it was to never be too confident in a fight it could be you down fall from what he had seen Gauron didn't seem to have a specific fighting style but he would need more time to analyze more about Gauron to find out if he had anything up his sleeve

Gauron laughed at Makarov's comment and batted his attacker's hand away before the knife made contact with his abdomen. He very nearly let it hit just to mess with the man. The Russian was good, Gauron had to admit that.
He finally adopted a legitimate fighting stance: legs spread wider than shoulder-width, knees bent, torso bent slightly forward but relaxed, arms spread in a ready position. He licked his lips in anticipation. He threw a series of furious swipes at Makarov. The first was horizontal, left to right, followed by a diagonal slash, low to high from right back to left, the last was almost entirely vertical, bringing it down towards the ground. The blade flashed wonderfully in the sunlight. Gauron felt, not for the first time, that it had been entirely too long since he had such a fun knife fight.

Aleksei dashed backwards avoiding the strikes he felt the knife just barely cut the fabric of the sleeve of his shirt 'Running and dodging won't win the fight I need to attack' Aleksei thought quickly. switching the blade to his left hand with the point facing outward he dashed to the right and slashed at Gauron's right side near the side of his stomach he paid close attention to the movement of Gauron so that he could anticipate a counter attack and back off if needed if the attack hit he would go on a more furious offensive if not he would rethink his strategy

Gauron deflected Makarov's knife with his own mere inches away from his side. "Just like I thought!" Gauron said after a quick jab at the Russian's original knife arm. "You are a damn coward! You're under attack and you can't even do anything about it! You're such a weakling!" Once again, he doubted he would land a hit, but that was just fine.
In all honesty, this reminded him of when he was training Tianzao during their off hours in China. Maybe... just maybe Makarov could be bent in the same fashion. It was an interesting thought.

Aleksei pulled his arm back and backed away creating distance between Gauron and himself "Say what you want It won't matter if your the one who wins or loses" Aleksei said dashing forward and sending a combo of slashes at Gauron the first attack was a Horizontal Slash from right to left the second attack was a stab followed by another before ending the combo with a Diagonal Slash from left to right brining the blade back into its orginal position "Oh and one more thing I really don't care what you think about me at the moment" Aleksei said

Gauron dodged the majority of the attacks before shooting his off-hand forward. The knife cut his arm a little bit on its final slash, but it was superficial and would heal before the fight was even over. He was trying to grab Makarov's wrist. Most adversaries, when confronted with an opponent that was willing to suffer personal injury in order to press the attack, would second guess their tactics. They would hesitate. They would make mistakes. His next move would depend heavily upon whether or not Makarov was able to dodge the grab.
