Aden took a deep breath calming his body more to fit with the Tranquil environment around him. Scanning the area Colors from all over the spectrum Vibrant and bold in no particular order dazzled the dry eyes that lay in his arid sockets. Just coming back from area 18 this senior officer never had the time to properly moisturize out there. The effects had taken its toll on every part of his body. Scaling skin was the worse Aden shivered at his own touch as he massaged the peak of his shoulder blade.
Aden was reminded of his last battle with that touch, and the scars of loss resurfaced. Aden being the strong man he was kept a smile on his face like every one in this garden did. He did not want to draw attention to him self, because attention lead to talking and he was done with that for awhile. He had men badgered non-stop about his last mission, but in the end all it did was get him deranked two spots. That was not the reaction he had expected from his actions, yet it was the one he received.
The sun was setting it was nice the air got cooler and moister, but the thing Aden enjoyed the most was the people were leaving now. Soon he hoped it would be just him the flowers, and the twinkling stars in a summers night's sky. Aden saw a small patch of green which was unusual as this was a garden off of the famed Saint Darwin Street, but Aden knew a back entrance that his nanny showed him long ago. It was his first visit here since he left for the academy many years ago. Aden decided that it was time to star gaze so he laid in that patch and gazed wondering what could happen Amongst the Flowers of the world.

The park was peaceful, people were slowly leaving it for the night and the sun was setting casting its golden orange glow on the beds full of numerous and again numerous flowers - a beautiful moment with almost no match, overall a wonderful scenery. And that was a scenery one of the dearest ones inside the walls of Pendragon for Euric Qi Britannia, born as the Second, nowadays the First Prince of the Imperial family.
Though nowadays a moment such as this was rare to him, for he actually had a spare moment to come there - but as it had once been one of the few places he had actually found freedom within being trapped in the palace, never did he miss the opportunity to visit it to enjoy of it's beauty and peaceful atmosphere. And today he was even more lucky than usual, for he had caught the moment when he loved the place the most - the beauty of the sunset first to pacify him, then the starts felling upon it all just to be gazed, soothing one with their pale glow with the moon. If Euric had had a favorite moment of the day, it would probably have been just this.
But today, as he wondered through the park and reached the patch of grass in the middle of the flowers, it was a bit of an surprise to notice he wasn't there to gaze the stars alone. Well, as a prince - and not to mention as the First one - he was nowadays never truly alone, some special forces' people always following him around in the shadows 'for his own safety', well, not that he could pretty much argue with it even as he liked it as much as Ayame. But tonight they should have stayed just outside the park and kept following his moves only as a red sparkling dot on some radar screen. And he should have been able to have a moment of peace from them without someone actually having an eye set upon him continually (though of course he wasn't allowed to have it without his own little red sleeve button in case anything happened). What he wore for the night was though nothing which would have given away he was actually a prince - regular blue jeans and black shoes, a green high neck sweater and a black short leather coat on it. The only thing which could have given him away was the sword tied on his waist, but it was also one thing he wasn't allowed to part without - a deep sigh from his behalf. Here he tried to blend in and not stand out from the crowd for his own safety, and then he wasn't allowed to go out without a weapon this visible. Sigh.
So, there was someone else out there to gaze the starts also - or so he presumed. Well. Euric wouldn't bother him if not necessary, and searched a place for himself to sit down from a little further away, settling down on the other side of the patch.

“bored.” A dull voice rang out in one of the many living rooms of the Pendragon.
“Hm?” The Royal Etiquette teacher glanced up from her knitting to look in front of her, where the Third Princess of Britannia sat, sprawled across an arm chair. Immediately, the elder woman’s eyebrow began to twitch slightly. “Hime-sama, please sit-
“Ugh…why is today so boring? There should be some law against boring days…they’re just so….boring!” Ayame complained, swinging her legs that were currently draped across an arm of the armchair.
“Yes, Hime-sama. That’s why they are called ‘boring days.’” The teacher said, eyes closed as her hands continued to work on the knitting at lightening speed. Stress reliever. “Now will you please act like a princess and sit normally?” Golden eyes rolled heavenwards but Ayame slouched back up to a lazy sitting position, right left crossed and she rested her cheek on her right fist, bored expression still on her face. It wasn’t fair. How come all of her other siblings were busy but not she? If there was one thing that Ayame hated above all things, even more so than the color pink, it was being bored. Boredom was her immortal enemy and she tried to avoid it at all costs. But today…just wouldn’t leave her alone. She had tried everything- pranking the guards, baking her siblings some goodie bags, hell she actually sat through sensei’s lessons today (much to the woman’s delight)! Ayame groaned slightly as she adjusted Pon-Pon, staring boredly at the giant stuffed panda’s big black eyes.
Staring contests with stuffed animals weren’t as fun as they were when she was 6. Damn. Sighing loudly, Ayame threw her head back into the cushion of the chair, her body twitching slightly with the urge to move. She needed to move. Now
All the while, Ayame’s teacher eyed the third princess, a soft smile creeping at the corners of her mouth. Poor dear. She knew perfectly well how much of a hyperactive bunny the Third Princess was. This was torture. Normally the woman would have taken the opportunity to squeeze in some supplemental classes, but Ayame had actually paid attention in class today. They had managed to finish the work for this week for once…for the first time in teaching the princesses, Sensei did not have a lesson ready. Placing her knitting down, Ayame’s teacher glanced at the window before returning her gaze back to the bored princess. “Why don’t you go for a walk, Hime-sama?”
“Hngh?” Ayame bopped her head up, blinking slightly. It was clear that she had just dozed off.
“I said why not go for a walk? It’s still early and the fresh air will do you good.” Ayame tilted her head in thought. A walk? At this hour? Her nose crinkled slightly in disapproval. She really didn’t feel like it…
“I dunno, Sensei….I don’t really feel up for it and-
“Quit making excuses, Hime-sama. Go.” Ayame blinked slightly at the sternness of her teacher’s voice. Could it be…
“S-Sensei…are you by chance….kicking me out?”
“You catch on quickly. Now go.”
Ayame stared up at the darkening sky. Well. This was great. She had been kicked out of her home.
“Now what?” Ayame asked no one in particular as a dejected sigh escaped her mouth. Well, it wasn’t as if some magical fairy was going to float down and sprinkle fairy dust and whisk her off to Never Ever Land. Might as well take a stroll.
Roaming for a few minutes, Ayame glanced up at the sky and immediately felt a grin itch at the corners of her mouth. Stars were coming out. ‘Guess Sensei was right…’ she thought as she started to skip slightly, her energy coming back. Maybe she should camp out tonight? There were plenty of good trees to snooze in. Breaking out into a full sprint as the idea became more and more appealing, Ayame entered a slight clearing amongst the multitude of flowers in the park.
It appeared she wasn’t alone tonight. For sitting a few feet away from her, sitting casually (for once) was her elder half brother the First Prince, Euric. Ayame felt her grin widen. Well, this certainly made her evening more enjoyable now! Ayame was about to greet the Prince in her usual manner (fly tackle to the ground accompanied by scream of greeting) but stopped herself when she did a double take. The air…peaceful. Ayame smiled slightly to herself. Wasn’t often the guy got a moment of peace, was it? No need to ruin it via heart attacks.
Deciding to be nice and somewhat normal for a change, Ayame casually strolled up so that she was standing by her brother. “Pretty, aren’t they?” she asked, staring up at the sky. Turning her attention back down, Ayame cracked her elder brother a grin.

Aden's dreary lauded state as he gazed above did not do his scenes any good. In fact it was as if they had completely shut off. A usually adept an intuitive man to his environment had completely missed the entry of two people to his tranquil paradise this night. What seemed to make the matters worst when Aden did realize they were there is that the were Royal Family members, and, as customs dictate, he should have greeted them accordingly. The stars just had that effect on him, but when he looked up at the stars he felt he was looking up at the people that had left this world to be in the next. Oh how Aden wanted to know what that world was like. If there was wars, or not; love or not; and if friendship was a huge part of life up there, or not.
Now though Aden had to greet his new guests or else it could hurt him later in life. They could say things like "There is that delusional boy who does not know how to properly respect the royalty when they grace him with there presence." now those kinds of comments really grinds his gears, but he figured the real royal family was not as snotty as everyone made them out to be. Of course this was his chance to see if they were. Aden intended to find out if that was indeed the case. Although he was only a senior officer he knew that he would gain back his rank quickly, and than surpass it. Noticing how sprawled out he was he took up a good part of the small green patch. With intrepid speed Aden retracted his limbs while sitting up to a knees in the chest arms back position. Bowing his head a little "Your highness's I am deeply sorry to be intruding here. I shall go now if that is what you wish?" Aden made the last statement like a question even know the comment was usually a farewell when around superiors with out really waiting for a response, but this time Aden would wait to here what the said.
Aden hoped he could stay and chat with them. He really wanted to know what they felt when the looked upon the sky, and how they felt when they were amongst the flowers. Was it the same thoughts that Aden had or were they different. He was sure they were it was not like they were the same person. He was certain they would not be even close to the same person I mean how could they be?

“Pretty, aren’t they?”
Euric had heard someone coming, but hearing his youngest sister's voice just like that, with no glomp or such involved, was almost more surprising - well, still nicely peaceful to fit the atmosphere - than her usual fly tackle scream combo. "Yes... So far away are they, yet somehow so close and soothing..." The man mumbled only half aloud - loud enough to be an answer if the question required such, but also quiet enough to be thought that he was only talking to himself.
Euric kept still staring at the dark sky for a moment longer before shifting his gaze and lifting his head up to return a smile to the face greeting him with a grin. "Evening there, Ayame. Came to look at the stars too?" A tiny pause before a gentle laughter escaped his lips. "...that wouldn't probably suit you, now would it? What a- " "Your highness's I am deeply sorry to be intruding here. I shall go now if that is what you wish?" A voice interrupted Euric's sentence before he had time to finish it, and he turned to look at the direction of it's source. Well, wasn't this evening full of surprises. First him having time to pop at the garden, then Ayame appearing in a peaceful manner and now - a regular officer, surely not one of his own security guys, bowing right in front of him. At least a quick glance at the other side of the green patch soon told him that the soldier had not condensed from sheer air. Which made Euric lift an eyebrow. How was such a man here, in this park, and at such an hour?
Well, there he stood anyway and waited for an answer, proper and polite in presence of a royal or two like handbooks indicated. Another deep, mental sigh for Euric. Not that he minded how or why the man was in the park, he just wondered. So, he gave him a slight smile accompanied by an answer. "Easy, officer. No need for you to leave if you don't want to. Why would we wish to disallow a man's moment of peace if he was enjoying of a such?"

"Yes... So far away are they, yet somehow so close and soothing..." Ayame gave Euric a toothy grin. Well, dude was right…stars were funky like that. Capable of even calming her when she was on sugar load…yet so tiny. "Evening there, Ayame. Came to look at the stars too?" Ayame’s grin grew. Well, truth was she had been kicked out of the palace by sensei and she had stumbled upon stargazing. But it made no difference, right? She technically was kinda sorta stargazing. She opened her mouth to answer her brother but he beat her to it. "...that wouldn't probably suit you, now would it?” Ayame snapped her mouth shut, a pout gracing her face. Heeeyyy…just because she was some spazz child didn’t mean she didn’t stop and smell the roses either! Ayame knew how to appreciate nature.
“Whatdaya mean-
"Your highness's I am deeply sorry to be intruding here. I shall go now if that is what you wish?" Ayame snapped her head over to see kneeling before her brother and herself, a young man with blond hair. She tilted her head slightly. Who the hell? One of Euric-Niisama’s guards? Golden eyes flashed to the side and an eyebrow rose up quizzically. Apparently not. So…did this mean he was just an ordinary officer? Meh. Didn’t matter who it was, may it be Knight of Round or janitor. New guy only meant one thing in Ayame’s book: new playmate.
"Easy, officer. No need for you to leave if you don't want to. Why would we wish to disallow a man's moment of peace if he was enjoying of a such?" Ayame grinned widely as she skipped over to the man and slunk her arm around his neck, pulling him up to a standing position.
“It’s as the dude says. Chillax. I mean, that’s why you’re here, no? To veg out?” Ayame smiled widely at him, arm still draped around his neck. Then as if it suddenly dawned upon her, Ayame shoved her stuffed panda into the stranger’s arms “Hold on to Pon-Pon for a sec, will ya?” she asked as she suddenly began to rummage through her bag, muttering broken phrases. “where the hell…I know I had some…hope I didn’t leave-HA!” A victorious grin on her face, Ayame pulled forth a small round tin box. “Gotta have grub when chillaxing, right? And what better grub than Ayame-sama’s Homebaked Cookies!” She cringed slightly. “Strike the ‘sama’ part...” she muttered as she plopped down on the grass, pulling New Guy with her.
Reclaiming Pon-Pon, Ayame let the stuffed panda sit in her lap as she placed the tin of cookies on the grass and popped the lid off. “Well? Chow time!” she grabbed a cookie and turned to the new guy. “So…ya got a name or somethin’? I mean, ‘New Guy’ is nice and all…” Ayame trailed off before flashing him a cheeky grin. “Name’s Ayame. You?”

Aden was completely shocked by their reaction the two of them were nothing like everyone made them out to be. Than Aden's mind wondered why they would be shown in such a bad light by the press. The royal family of their fine country was just as fine why didn't the people stress that fact and not every little bad thing they did. It was because people were stereotypical they just assumed people were bad if they had privileged but that was not the case Aden was far from bad he thought and he was privileged sort of by being nobility. If Privileged was the word that could be associated with Aden's upbringing. Aden always discovered something when he went star gazing, but this time it wasn't the stars it was the company that was making it an interesting night.
"Well I.. I.. just thought .. i mean i guess you would have no reason to want to do that." Aden said stumbling as he put his head down in shame for assuming the would be self adsorbed and conceded in their own well being. It was then when he heard the informalness from the princess with a word like Chillax. Aden had only heard the word used by the slackers at the academy when he was stressed over a test. Now those slackers were the people who gave the privileged a bad name not these people that he was now in the company of. Before Aden could properly react he had a stuffed Panda sitting in his arms while she rummaged through her stuff going on about having something. It seemed like the person from the films that always had something for every occasion even the random ones like this. As the tin emerged from the bag Adens mind went to chocolates or mints of some kind, but he was pleasantly surprised when she said cookies. Aden loved cookies the part he loved the most about them was the way they came to be an accident really. Aden reached for one of the cookies as she asked his name.
"Nice to meet you Princess Ayame, My Name is Major Aden Williams Mam at your service, and you too sir." Aden said trying to hide the fact that he knew who the first prince was, but he was not sure why he did this. Aden Started to munch an the cookie.(Srry it is late must go to bed)

Euric simply gave out a light laugh for his sister as she attacked the new guy with 'chillax' and those oh, so delicious cookies of hers. Surely the man seemed surprised, Euric could see it written all over the other man's face - the First knew very well what some people thought of the Imperial family and it wasn't a surprise for him that this officer probably also shared the stereotypical view of the royal family at least in some way.
Euric leaned back and supported the position with his hands to maintain himself even somewhat upright - even as he would have wanted to just fall back and hit the grass. But he did not, yet, for his subconsciousness still hadn't completely let go of the thought he was the First prince after all, and this man was his subordinate in a way or another. So, some dignity, please? said a thought. For a moment, the prince still kept it that way. But then something began to itch at the back of his mind. Tonight, Euric did not want to follow that thought. It was time to really just chillax and it referred to Euric also. A thought crossed his mind, he remembered some of Ayame's words from earlier. She was right - he had thought he was free nowadays, but now it seemed his own mind was a worse cage than anything his mother had put him through earlier. Now really - time to do something to it. The inner spazz still wanted freedom - and it wanted it now. Slowly Euric let go of the tought. Etiquette. A proper adult... A bit odd smirk grew onto his face. Concerns me like green ostriches on a stick. "Nice to meet you to, Major -", Euric answered still with a polite tone, giving him a nod as a greeting. But, there would be it - for the dignity and whatever. Euric needed a real break. And now was the time for it. Euric let it go. He simply pulled his hands up and fell right down to the grass, his back meeting it's green, silky mat accompanied with a soft thud. "- and no need for the 'sir' part either. Euric's just fine - I came here simply to look at the stars, not as a prince or anything else for any empire. I'm sure you didn't come here as any officer, but just as Aden to do whatever you where doing." There, it was said. The prince giggled to himself - oh, how did this feel good. And he couldn't but mentally laugh to the image of his guards and such, who were probably freaking out at the moment for witnessing such a behavior from their very own First prince - behavior, which they probably had imagined he would have gotten rid of for good.

"Nice to meet you Princess Ayame, My Name is Major Aden Williams Ma’am at your service, and you too sir." Ayame felt an eyebrow twitch. Turning ever so slowly to look at Newfound Playmate, the third princess raised Pon-Pon over her head, a menacing glare on her face.
“Oy, Major-san…” she began as she aimed her weapon. “Here’s a little FYI: I hate being called ‘Ma’am.’ Makes me feel old.” And with that she threw her panda hard, the fluffy monstrosity making impact with Anden’s head. “Enough with the damn formalities, okies?” she said, a cheeky grin coming back to her face.
“Nice to meet you to, Major – A soft thud caused Ayame to turn her head back to see…air. Frowning slightly, Ayame glanced downwards, an eyebrow skyrocketing when her eyes fell upon the sight in front of them. There, flopped down without a care in the world, was her brother. A full blown wild grin spread across Ayame’s face as she suppressed the urge to squeal out loud. Finally! The inner spazz won! Victory at last! "- and no need for the 'sir' part either. Euric's just fine - I came here simply to look at the stars, not as a prince or anything else for any empire. I'm sure you didn't come here as any officer, but just as Aden to do whatever you where doing."
he giggled. The man freaking giggled. Ayame felt her body twitch with that familiar urge to pounce.
‘Ahh screw it.’
Letting out a loud shriek of victory, Ayame flopped down on top of her elder half brother, engulfing him in a hug, her arms clinging to his waist, her head resting on his chest. “Took ya long enough, Nii-sama.” she said, giving him a crooked grin. Adjusting herself so that only her head was resting on Euric’s stomach, Ayame glanced up at the Major and flashed him another trademark grin. “It’s as the man decrees. Name’s Ayame. A-ya-me. None of the ‘Princess’ or ‘Highness’ crap, ne?” Her grin widened. “You’re here to stargaze too, right? Flop yourself down~”
Ayame knew that her etiquette teacher would have an aneurysm if she ever saw this current sight. Not only was Ayame flopped like a fish on top of the First Prince, looking nothing like royalty, but she was also inviting a Major, someone who was supposed to be her subordinate, to join her. Ayame held up Pon-Pon, fiddling with it’s paws.
“Serves sensei right, ne Pon-Pon?”
