[Post an image of your part here, if you'd like.]
Code Name: Seneca SE-2 Bayonet Overload Arm
Manufacturer: Iroquois Confederate Arms Production Co., originally for the Britannian Standard Army.
Part Type: Gauntlet/Rifle
Construction Type: Physical Material
Equipment and Design Features: Developed initially from an Indian Design Model featured in the Gekka Knightmare frame (and its chinese variation, the Gangfeng), the Bayonet Overload Arm was intended to complement the gekka's arm-mounted gun. The Katen Yaibatou deployed by the gekka proved unwieldy and difficult to carry around in practical combat, and so the ICCA hoped to create a weapon that would be more easily used and concealed. The result was the bayonet Overload Arm. built directly onto the arm-based gun gauntlet, the bayonet overload arm allows the arm to also hide a medium-length blade concealed inside the gauntlet. Initially intended to hold a MASER blade, the high cost of this made this option impractical. Instead, IroConArms created a metal blade on the same lines as the katen Yaibatou. While for a time IroConArms debateded using a radiation wave system, the inability to procure this system led to this option also being replaced with an inexpensive replacement--the overload system. Instead of draining energy or warping it with radiation, the overload Arm is simply a giant conduit of electricity directly from the Yggdrasil drive, feeding a large pulse of electricity that, on contact with exposed wires, overloads the knightmare with electricity in an attempt to fry any circuits. The Britannian Standard Army, though, denied this design on account of incompatibility with existent britannian Knightmares.
(in an image sense, the image is essentially Optimus Prime's Sword from Transformers)
Development RP: (I'll work on this tomorrow)
