Description:
Personality:
As chivalrous, kind hearted, and polite as they come, Lucius is an exemplar of human behavior. He is courteous to all, including his enemies. He is humble, as if almost to praise other's efforts. He respects compassion, honesty, loyalty, and moderation. He has only lost his composure once and only privately; otherwise, he is also calm, collected, and gentle. Lucius' elegance is subconscious. It stems from how he had strived to be as a child, hoping to be a proper and caring gentleman when he grew up. If anything, he would be a true, modern-day incarnation of a knight.
Lucius holds hatred for only two entities: the Britannian empire and human nature. Though he himself completely contrasts it, he perceives human nature as flawed and vile. He believes humanity is prone to corruption and other evil values, tending to cause ill-will and harm to others. In order to achieve his goal, Lucius must be the very opposite of what he seeks to destroy, serving as an example to the world. However, his peaceful demeanor actually conflicts with his preferred method. After researching history (the world's and his own), he believes that peaceful demonstration and negotiation will not solve the problems he seeks to rid. Thus, he is completely willing to use force and manpower to obtain peace. He is ruthless to the evils of humanity and imperialism. If anything, his idol is Shneizel, a past Britannian prince.
Though Lucius acts very friendly and courteously to everyone, he actually does not harbor close relationships with people. Ever since his twin brother's death, he maintains a friendly acquaintance relationship with others, and is too afraid to surpass that level. However, he works for the sake and betterment of others, and treasures people. He acts as kindly to strangers as to those he has known for years.
Also, perhaps nothing is more precious to him than the bond between brothers.
History:
Lucius and his twin brother Samuel were born to two Britannians, Artemis Cantor and Elizabeth Elizar. From their first year onward, the twins were inseparable. They lived on the eastern coast of the North American continent. Their parents were wealthy and respected. The twins were home schooled, educated by exceptional and worthy tutors that the parents could afford. From an early age onward, ideals of chivalry and kindness where installed in Lucius through his lessons. Samuel, who was a more cantankerous and whimsical person, was also extremely kind hearted and friendly. Etiquette aside, the boys were very alike and had a special bond that the world rarely ever saw between two brothers.
When the boys were fourteen, their parents decided to enroll them in Ashford Academy, renown for its educational prowess and interesting history. The parents, proud to be Britannian, were also very in favor of the U.F.N., and their ideals were instilled in their sons. Already, Lucius decided to be a keeper of the peace at his young teenage years. Samuel wanted to be a doctor and save people through the work of medicine and health care. Both twins were admitted to the academy and looked forward to bright futures.
The boys stood out immediately during their first day. They were surprisingly sharp, even though home schooled, and were also far more polite than the other boys in the class. Though Lucius was at times overly courteous, he could understand a risque joke or two thrown around by the guys in the class; he did have a sense of humor after all. The twins, with their cheerfulness and kind hearts, turned the heads of many girls in the class. However, with the exception of one or two flings, the twins remained single and maintained a n extremely strong, brotherly bond.
While they were at school, the winds of change were blowing. During their senior year, Britannia decided to revert back to its status from a century ago. The Cantors were enraged. Now highly educated and ready to involve themselves in the world, the twins were ready to take a stance on the issues. However, when Lucius was busy studying one day, Samuel and a bunch of other students left for the Viceroy's building. They intended to protest the new change in policies, since the students of Ashford were not xenophobic likes those a hundred years before. They were students of the U.F.N. Britannia, not the imperial one. Lucius, who was afraid that peace would be broken, had taken up to writing his ideas so that he could find a solution. Samuel took the path of activism. However, he only took one step.
Samuel did not return to the Academy that night. The next day, the news reported that the students were massacred for terrorism, when in fact they had just been protesting. Lucius, distraught, felt hatred for the first time in his life. He mourned his brother dearly for a week. He did not go out in public, since he would feel ashamed to have lost his composure. His fervent desire to keep peace now became a fierce desire to reclaim it and restore the world. After Britannia's return to imperialism, Lucius vowed to become a fighter for peace. Since Zero Requiem failed, he know that peace could not remain with just negotiations and talks, though it would be ideal. He knew that force was needed to keep in check what he viewed as the greed, corruption, and villainy innate in every human being.
After he graduated and his father died of a heart attack, Lucius was set against Britannia and human nature. He still perfectly maintained his courteous demeanor, but now he had hatred sharing a part of his heart. However, he felt his was justified, since it was hatred of hatred. He remained in Area 11 with his mother (the family had emigrated after the twins were enrolled). For both avenging his brother and for restoring peace, Lucius has decided to do whatever he can in his power to save the world. Whether it be financing anti-Britannian groups with his family's wealth or by actually engaging in combat against the empire, Lucius is discreetly resolute in his crusade.
Goal or Dream:
Lucius’ goal is to restore the natural balance and peace of the world. He seeks to wage a war against the total corruption and flawed being of mankind. Though he is a man that prefers diplomacy and negotiation, he argues that the evils of mankind cannot be defeated without an iron fist. He blames corruption, greed, envy, and hatred for the turbulences of history, believing that the fall of Zero Requiem is due to human behavior. He is correct, after all. By pursuing justice and helping its allies, he feels that he can get closer to achieving his goal.

About you:
I'm a 19 year old, American College student. Code Geass is my favorite anime, and I like to RP and write creatively. I'm seeking on majoring in Government with a minor in International Studies. Oh, and I am also taking Chinese.
I share Lucius' fears of spiders and neurotic women. I'm also hemophobic (fear of blood, I believe).

"Moments ago, the resistance group that attempted to sabotage the Government's Palace was thwarted by the brave efforts of the Britannian Army. The terrorists will be--"
The television faded to its empty black screen. The room of a elaborately designed apartment in the better-off section of the Tokyo Settlement was now completely silent. The sun's light shined through shades that concealed most of the clear windows. The beautiful bright blue day was barely visible from inside the room, which was dimly lit at the moment. Sitting on a red, comfortable couch in front of the now inactive television was a rather nicely dressed man, whose left leg was crossed over his right knee. His hands were laced together over his left knee, and his face stared ahead at the black screen.
Lucius remained in silent thought for what seemed like an eternity. He had just witnessed a crime; Britannia had quelled another attempt to chip away at the empire's power. Lucius was disgusted by the ways of his home country. He found the reversion to imperialism and discrimination to be unfathomable. An educated graduated of Ashford Academy, Lucius could easily obtain a well paid job somewhere within the settlement, and instead of watching the grim news he could be earning a living. However, that would mean supporting and contributing to the economy of Area 11 under Britannia. That was something that the peaceful but determined Lucius would not do.
"I'm home," a warm, familiar voice called from the entrance's threshold. Lucius could hear paper bags shifting around in her arms and her shoes thudding as they were cast aside next to the welcome mat. Still, he did not stir, and merely looked at the empty screen. He was now in his own little world, isolated by his mind and consumed by his thoughts. His mother walked into the kitchen, which was adjacent to the living room that Lucius was in and not separated by any wall. She placed the paper bags of groceries down on a sleek, porcelain counter before looking at the back of Lucius' head.
"Honestly, you could have helped me a bit. They were heavy, you know."
"My sincerest apologizes," Lucius said softly, blinking and returning to reality. He turned his head around to see his mother, who had a look of concern in her eyes.
Lucius slowly rose from the soft upholstery and walked over to the counter. Not looking his mother in the eyes, he proceeded to reach into one of the paper bags and pulled out some milk. He walked over to the fridge, opened the door, and looked for a place to put it.
"Mother," he began, finding a place to put the milk in the fridge. "Why do people kill each other?"
His mother was silent; she stopped reaching into the grocery bags to help Lucius out. After too long of an awkward silence, she responded.
"I'm not sure, Lucius. Why?"
Lucius closed the door of the fridge and turned to face her. Their eyes met once more.
"Because... it's in their nature," he stated, almost apathetically. But he was far from disinterested. The idea of humans slaughtering one another was certainly one of his most greatest concerns. Because of a certain incident involving such slaughter, he felt more compelled than ever to save the world.
"That is all there is too it."
*Role Playing Experience in Years:
I've been roleplaying for about six or more years. Most of them have been anime or manga affiliated. I've had different kinds of staff experience as well. I like to RP in my spare time. Just another fun hobby.
