Description:
A ruggedly striking individual, Daniel dresses after the cowboys of western Britannia or the Guacho Ranchers of the Pampas (Area 6, what is now Argentina). His hair is frequently messy--more likely than not, he tries to make it messy. Frequently wears a cowboy hat, chaps, spurs and the like. His spurs are actually used in brawls, so it's not all for show.Personality:[/font]
As an individual, Daniel is laid-back and sometimes dryly humorous. Affable in the fashion of cowboys, Daniel can stay cheerful even in a dangerous situation. Raised most of his life in his Father's Virginia, Daniel has a bit of a southern accent and also a lackadaisical attitude. In a brawl, though, his humor takes a grimly sarcastic tinge. he enjoys taking risks and gets all the more cheerful when put in a situation where he is truly at risk. His men trust him, but his superiors, while mollified by his attitude, know that he is a bit of a maverick. Like his illegitimate mother, a staunch Catholic, Daniel nevertheless is an extremely nonreligious individual, rationalizing everything from killing to vigilantism. Good at improvisation, but not an especially good strategist. Daniel's main gift is patience and the ability to see where people are better than him and knowing when to retreat. As a secret leader of the Sons of Liberty, he needs to know these things. He frequently misquotes the scripture, the Articles of Confederation, the Declaration of Independence and other important works that he himself have never tried really hard to read. History:
With the failure of Washington's Rebellion, the people who would become the Founding Fathers fled in all directions. The antifederalists such as Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson fled to France, where they formed the basis of the EU and the French Revolution with their Articles of Confederation. The federalists, such as Adams, Madison, Livingston and Sherman fled to New Spain, where they assisted Simon Bolivar in rebelling from Spain and forming the Republic of Gran Colombia. During the time Bolivar and the Founding Fathers lived, Gran Colombia existed as a powerful Republic very similar to what would become the United States of America, with recognition from the Pope and France. But, with the deaths of the last of these men, Simon Bolivar, Gran Colombia fell apart, torn apart by the native Spanish and Britannian provocation. In a single fluid step, Britannia stepped into to restore order--and never quite left. Since then, a bastion of Catholism in a large conglomerate of Atheist territories, Area 6 has settled down--in appearance. But this story will pick up afterwards, after Daniel's early life is described.
The Britannian Imperial Senate is, in fact, a Bimarcial Legislature, with the House of Lords being dominated by nobles and purist, and the House of Commons dominated by large Corporations such as the ICCA, the Rosenburg Institute, and others. One such Senator from the House of Commons was Mark Constantine. If anything, Mark was a lucky man. Blessed with good advisors, his company flourished through much of his life, giving him time to pursue his less noble callings, namely fornication. Daniel theorizes that Mark Constantine had seduced a large range of women bordering on 30, from nuns to duchesses. Daniel Constantine came from a short tryst between the daughter of a prominent Argentinian Rancher (or [i]Hacendado[/i]). Though he did get around quite a lot, Mark Constantine looked after his (many) illegitimate children, and Daniel was raised at Mark's Virginia estate along with Mark's Legitimate sons, Mark Constantine II and Samuel Constantine until he was 15. At that point, though, war had broken out between the newly resurgent EU and Britannia. On a business trip in Warsaw, Mark Constantine was killed when an angry mob attacked the Britannian Embassy. Unfortunately, never considering that he might die, Mark Constantine never clearly explained who would get what. As a result, infighting began in the Constantine Household. Disgusted with this, Daniel willingly left Virginia, moving back to Area 6 in Argentina to where he lived as a Rancher. Instantly, he fell in love with life as a Rancher. His grandparents were overjoyed to find out that their late daughter had a prosterity, and they treated him as far more than a grandson. But life would throw another wrench in his way in the form of the Britannian Army.
With the need for more troops to regain their lost territories, Britannia began a draft in the outer territories so that less Mainland Britannians would have to sign up. Daniel Constantine was drafted for the Britannian Defense Forces. In tryouts for knightmare pilotry, he proved a natural with a skill that approached Knight of Rounds Level, and thus was made the Captain of the Guard in Area 6. It was also in the Britannian Guard (a group of Area 6-born Mainland Britannians) that Daniel met one of the undercover Sons of Liberty, General Jack Kennedy II, one of the success stories of Area 6. Since the destruction of Gran Colombia, the Sons of Liberty had come back into being as an insurgent group very similar to the Black Knights, sabotaging Britannian troops at times and at times launching terrorist operations. Nevertheless, many Area 6'ers, mainly for reasons of Religion (Catholicism versus an Atheist Nation), Discrimination (as typical in the numbered areas) or simply bloodthirstiness, were attracted to the idea of a country they could run. In Britannia's Area 6 forces, such memberships were frequently found and stamped out--but for each conspiracy found, many others continued to ferment. Daniel recieved copies of the Colombian Constitution and the Declaration of Independence (both banned by Britannia) and read them in clandestine. The idea of a free nation, like the free ranchers of the plained, appealed immensely to Daniel. With his authority as a Captain, Daniel began to recruit others and shuffle groups of soldiers with sons of Liberty sympathies into possibly receptive groups and as heads of honorary Britannian Brigades in order to foster more support. Recently, the Britannian army, in a botched arrest attempt, killed General Kennedy, sparking Riots all over Area 6 at what they see is a killing rooted in discrimination against Sixes and catholics. At the moment, he continues to wait for the chance to make Gran Colombia more than a dream once more in Japan. Daniel uses a vincent in combat, a relic from the UFN-Britannian War. As a Rounds-level Pilot, he can use it well too.Goal or Dream:

Faction:The Sons of Liberty
Organized similarly to the black Knights, the Sons of Liberty is an organization with relatively thin control between branches in comparison to the strict organization of the Black Knights, and so Branches rarely work together. There are branches of the Sons of Liberty in Eastern Britannia and in various parts of Area 6. The Sons of Liberty actually have an active public headquarters in the Republic of Ireland. The Sons of Liberty primarily attract either miscreants or idealists. Generally, membership is civilian, but in the Military, there exist branches of this group with some amount of Military Resources. These groups are under more control than the civilian organizations, which may sometimes run amuck.••'' Something is not quite done here...[/color]
