So this thread is mostly to distract me from being productive, but I thought I'd put it up anyway. For anyone who doesn't know, I'm a college senior this year and am applying to graduate school. Everything has to be in by November 1st (Sunday), so I'm slightly panicky this week. I only have confirmation that one recommendation has gone out, so I'm hoping the other two either have already been sent or will be like tomorrow.
I'm currently working on my Statement of Intent, which is pretty much what it sounds like. It's a statement about why I want to be a teacher, what contributions I want to make, and that sort of thing. Basically why should I be admitted. I'm going to get it done tonight and turn everything that's in my control in tomorrow so it's out of my hands. Then I be anxious for a few months until I find out the decision.
So yeah...if I randomly freak out it's either because of that or classes. Which of course can't all fall properly so i can take what I need and graduate. No, they have to be offered at the same time as each other. *sigh* Such is the life of a senior.
