ETHNIC Brittania
FACTION Brittania; Neutral

» YOU'RE IN THEN OUTPERSONALITYSaiya usually has a very mild demeanor, and accepts things easily. She tries to be happy for those around her, and most people regard her as a cheerful, kind, and soft spoken girl. She takes her duties on the student council seriously, and always tries to be whatever she is expected to be. Sai is good at defusing any situation, and works hard. She gets easily irritated and may be overly critical at points, but Sai only has good intentions.
However, this is only what everyone sees her as. Underneath, Sai is a confused girl that doesn't really know where she belongs. Sai wants to be someone that'll help others, because she feels selfish and is doubting of herself. She hasn't ever felt strongly about anything, and will push people away when frightened or truly angry. Sai is also observant, and notices many small details that don't really count for much. She is of fairly above average intelligence, but certainly not a genius.
Shielding her inner self from the world, the only time when Sai can express herself is through music. She plays the piano and the cello well, and is often seen around campus with headphones on, humming. Sai is likable and doesn't have many enemies, but she also doesn't have many close friends either. This is usually because people generally glance at Sai, and then cast her off as a naive child. Sai is misguided at times, and doesn't realize that what she's doing may not be entirely helpful.

» MEMORIES, SUPPOSED TO FADERELATIVES
Mother- Anna Merist (deceased)
Father- Laurel Cross
Older Sister- Moryan Cross
HISTORY Saiya Cross was born in Brittania to Anna Merist and Laurel Cross. She was born three years after her older sister, Moryan. The Cross family were a relatively wealthy family; Laurel Cross worked for a large business firm in the capital. Saiya was always the favorite of her parents when she was a child. This made her older sister, Moryan, jealous of all the attention her mother and father gave Sai. As a child, Saiya dominated the attention and ate good foods, wore pretty dresses, and decided what to play. Needless to say, Sai was completely spoiled. This was how she spent most of her young childhood.
However, when Saiya turned 9, things changed. The day before her birthday, she went to the cake shop with her sister and mother. After buying the cake, Saiya excitedly went ahead of her mother, and crossed the street not knowing that there were cars zooming all around her. Saiya's mother immediately ran forward, and protected Saiya when a large truck veered towards them. Saiya was unharmed, but her mother died in the street. Her sister Moryan could do nothing but stand on the sidewalk, shocked. Later on, Moryan, who was filled with hate and spite for Saiya, told their father that it was all Saiya's fault that their mother died, and she was an ungrateful brat that didn't deserve anything. Her father, furious, believed Moryan and looked down on Saiya afterwards the incident. Sai spent 4 years in the household and accepted glares and insults from her father and sister. She also believed that her mother's death was her fault.
At the age of 13, her father decided to send Saiya to Area 11 to get her out of his site. Sai accepted this, and packed all her belongings and flew to the Tokyo Settlement. There, she stayed with one of the Cross family's maids, and attended Ashford Academy later on. Sai promised herself that she would hide her past and look towards the future, for everyone's sake. Sai became the historian of Ashford Academy, and wore a smile on her face ever since, hiding her inner insecurities and unhappiness. She didn't want to be spoiled and selfish anymore, because that had led to her mother's death. However, Sai couldn't be completely giving to others because of her nature, but tries as hard as she can.
» WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOUNAME Ara
RP-HISTORY I've rped around two years total.
SAMPLE Sai stood in the center of her room, completely still. A few solitary tears rolled down her face, and she wiped them away with her hand. She closed the suitcase on her bed and took one last walk around her room. There was a small cloth-bound notebook on her desk. Sai sat down by the desk and took out a pen. Flipping open the notebook, she turned to a fresh page and pressed the pen down on the blank page, thinking. Sai began to write slowly.
Well, it's finally the day I leave Brittania. I'm glad to go, and I'm sure my father and sister are too. This feeling surprised me. Brittania has always been my home, why am I happy to leave everything behind and start anew? I'm unsure really. But...this is my chance right? To be better and kinder... I'll be staying with Nara, my father's maid. I hope she'll be nice and that Tokyo isn't too bad compared to Brit-What am I saying? Nara doesn't have to be nice, and Tokyo can be a disaster. It doesn't change anything. I just can't accept that.
Farewell Brittania,
Sai
Sai closed the notebook and stared at it for a few moments. She went through the pages, filled with diary entries ever since she got it a few years back. It was filled with memories that Sai had forgotten. Sai shook her head. She decided that forgotten memories were better being left alone, and put the diary in a desk drawer. She locked the drawer with a small brass key, and then walked over to the window. Sai pushed it open, and breathed in the crisp air. She then held out her hand, and dropped the key down to the street below the two-story window. Her memories would be safe and lost forever.
"Saiya! It's time to go!"
Sai tilted her head in the direction of the door. She yelled back, "Yes, sister, I'll be downstairs!" She closed the window shut, picked up her suitcase and took one last glance at the bedroom that was now not hers anymore. And then Saiya went out the door, and it closed softly, signaling the end of Sai's life in Britannia.
NOTES Hmm...I suppose Sai isn't a very important character plotwise, but I'd like to get her involved in some kind of plot.Oh, also, I'm not sure if the student council president position has already been taken, xP.Yes, yes it has.
