Family:
The Leodegrance family has been a prominent clan in the Britannian Empire, dating even as far back as the first King Eowyn's united war to defeat the Roman Empire. They've carried the bloodline through the past two-thousand years, giving Britannia some of its finest military officers and political advisors. This long history of being one of the most influential families in the Empire bears the risk of breeding a lust for power within the recent generations, most notably seen in the current head of the house.
----------------
Grand Duke Roane Leodegrance (Father, 51) - "A prominent Grand Duke of the Britannian Court and Tristan's overbearing father, who hopes to manipulate and use his children to enhance his standing in the Empire. Though he doesn't speak openly about his plans, it is likely that he's one of the men in charge of the Council of Nobles and seeks to overthrow the royal family."
Elaine Leodegrance (Mother, Deceased) - "The kind-hearted mother of the three Leodegrance children. Strong-willed and intelligent, she always taught her boys the lesser-known truths about life and what one should do to find where they belong in life. Unfortunately, she died giving birth to the youngest brother, Conor. Roane seems to despise the youngest child because of this, openly showing signs of disgust with the little boy."
Nicholas Leodegrace (Brother, 22) - "The cold, heartless younger brother. Nicholas is only concerned with how he can profit, aiming to take over the family's title, even going so far as to hope Tristan dies in combat while he himself remains safely in the capital waiting for the opportunity. Currently, he is a court advisor in Pendragon, working together with the Council of Nobles to aid his father's work."
Conor Leodegrace (Brother, 6) - "By a large age span, Conor is the youngest brother of the Leodegrance family. Despite his father's open disdain for the boy, Conor manages to stay cheerful and has a strong admiration for his oldest brother, Tristan. With his oldest brother gone and the only remaining family members usually busy, even if they cared to spend time with him, Conor is often by himself or with private tutors as he starts his schooling."

Tristan is a slender, but muscular young man. He has brown-blonde hair and dark blue eyes, with distinguishingly attractive Britannian characteristics. Often wearing his military uniform, he'll vary between outfits depending on the setting. When on military grounds, he'll wear something more stately, as he still has to show that he's from a noble family. Outside, however, he wears a black shirt, grey form-fitting jacket, and jeans.
Personality:
Tristan is generally a quiet, shy person. However, he eventually warms up once he becomes comfortable with a person or surrounding. Raised as Britannian nobility, he speaks politely and treats people with respect. However, this is easily nullified if someone does or says something to insult or anger him.
On the battlefield, it is the same. Tristan is almost completely silent, focused entirely on his objectives unless otherwise motivated.
He has a hidden dislike for his father and younger brother, and his youngest brother seems to be the only family member he shows love for.
History:
Tristan Leodegrance was born into the noble Leodegrance family of Pendragon. Ever since the Empire's birth, the Leodegrance family had served Britannia as capable generals and administrators. That said, the present-day generation of the clan were afforded many luxuries and privileges. Tristan was given an excellent education, ample sources to study military tactics, and a noble upbringing.
Through his studies and the constant subservience to the Imperial court, Tristan grew unsure of his place. For his forebears, it was their life's honor to serve the Empire unquestioningly. For Tristan, he felt like he was meant for more than living the predetermined life of a tool to be used. This notion soon became clear to his father, who was both insulted and outraged - telling Tristan that he would get what he wanted.
Not wanting to be an idle tool of the Empire in Pendragon, his father certainly gave him his wish. Tristan had a natural talent for piloting Knightmares and he had a keen mind for tactics and strategy, often thinking of how life would be if he were out seeing the world as a commander in the military. Perhaps then, he thought, he could find whatever it was that he was looking for. His father was all too happy to indulge him, and his younger brother - Nicholas - was all too happy to his potential rival for the family's title gone off to war.
Easily pulling a few strings, Tristan's father had him entered into the military, putting him on active duty and sending him to the volatile Area 11. His father figured that some time out on the frontlines would teach him a lesson...scare him into coming home and acknowledging his place. Tristan, however, was all too accepting to be sent to the former Japan. With the world on the brink of chaos and Britannia relying heavily on their military to remain on top, it looked like the future would be interesting for the young noble.
Not long into his time in Area 11, the young officer was sent as an escort for her royal highness, Sylvana li Britannia. For good reason, it would seem, as an assassin attempted to shoot the First Princess from afar. Tristan managed to act as a human shield, taking the bullet and keeping the princess from harm. Pulling her into her ship, he locked the door and waited for Captain Izumi Kaoto to take care of the would-be killer.
The situation was cleared, but Tristan had lost a lot of blood. He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his wound. However, another doctor had further plans for the young man. Doctor Phillipe Augustus Anderson, the Emperor's own physician and a prominent researcher had his assistant, Hebe the immortal, kidnap Tristan.
He was brought to a dark, dimly-lit city underground. More of a dead city than a city commonly imagined, he was stuck there for weeks until the fateful experiment he was meant for. Using some sort of product Anderson had created, the doctor claimed he intended to create a "better mankind, for a better future". Tristan was told that his chance for survival was practically zero, but such were the risks that had to be taken in order to create progress.
Surprisingly, Tristan survived, though his body was surging with unimaginable pain for quite some time. He had gained heightened senses, and his strength had practically multiplied. The young man could run faster, jump higher, and move quicker than any normal human. And with a gunshot to the head, Anderson cruelly tested the most important part: complete regeneration. He had created an immortal, so to speak. In Tristan's mind, he had created nothing but a monster.
Robbed of his perceived "humanity" and twisted into something unnatural, Tristan felt that he couldn't possibly return to his old life. He wasn't himself anymore, and Anderson had plans for him that would likely prevent any possibility of escape.
However, he did escape. After rescuing Ayame li Britannia, Sylvana's younger sister, from the resurrected Black Knights, he made off and ensured Anderson couldn't track him. It seems that through luck or divine intervention, Anderson himself had been injured in a run-in with the Black Knights, leaving Tristan free to escape.
Now, he can only look to his old life and try to do what he can to repair what he left behind. Whether from the shadows or by some miraculous return, it's all he has to look forward to.
Goal or Dream:
Tristan's goal is to rise above his family title and the shackles that would bind him to it, hoping instead that he can live a free life through his own actions.

*Brief example of Role Play:
Tristan took the damp towel, folded it, and placed it on Lelouch's forehead.
The young Major had taken Lelouch's vitals by this time, and had found everything to be normal. Granted, he was no doctor. Regardless, it seemed like Lelouch would be fine once he snapped out of whatever caused him to pass out. Exhaustion was a possibility. Poison? Not likely. Who would want to poison a member of Ashford's Student Council? After all, Tristan wasn't even a member of the Council for an hour before the assassin made his attempt.
There were plenty of questions as far as that was concerned, but for now...Tristan would keep track of Lelouch until he woke up.
"Thank you, Rima," the young noble stated, turning to look at the girl, "And again, I cannot apologize enough for the trouble I've caused you. That murderer came for me and you were put in harm's way because of it."
*Role Playing Experience in Years:
Total: 9
Started on a Chrono Trigger RPG, playing a wandering duelist.
Then got into SimRTK, an RPG/Simulation based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, playing a cavalier the first game and a 20-year-old ruler the second game, managing a kingdom full of about 20-30 people.
During that time, I was introduced to HoC:Japan, a similar game based on the Sengoku Jidai era of Japan (Kessen, Samurai Warriors, Tokugawa, etc.) and ended up being chosen as a ruler there, too.
After the Chrono Trigger RPG died, I picked up the pieces and created my own CTRPG, created and managing the game myself with a little moderator help until it died about a year later.
I also got into a Naruto-based RPG called Ninpocho Chronicles, playing a cold-hearted ninja from the Village Hidden in the Sand.
