Kuro stood by the edge of the lake his white coat on him he was never without it he ran a hand thru his dark locks"Ah such a peaceful place its too bad that bad things had happened to the place" he said to himself as he gently looked out onto the water and started to qustion why the war still was going on he saw no reason why" I honestly wonder why the nations fight it would be better to be one big nation honestly then it wouldent be so hard" he mused to himself "Ah but unless someone stops the fighting that can never be and its only wishful thinking" he said with a sigh and he ran his hand thru his hair again, he started to go deep into thought wondering about the war and mentaly going over his plans as he stared at the water a peaceful look on his face.

“Like I said…division 3 is supposed to be watching the Ghetto whilst division 7 is to be on watch for suspicious aerial movements! Next time I give a bloody order, listen to it, understand!?” A phone was snapped shut as its owner emitted an aggravated growl. Honeslty… would it kill people to listen once in a while? Sakura Shizuka, Commander in Chief of the Black Knights stared up at the sky, emerald eyes showing fatigue. And pissiness. Yes, dear ol’ calm and collected Sakura was angry. Well, perhaps ‘angry’ was not the right term…peeved perhaps? Feather-ruffled? Yes, feather-ruffled. For it so turned out that half of the Black Knights was composed of sheer utter birdballs who could not carry out an order when demanded. Now, Sakura never asked much from her fellow comrades. But would it kill them to pay attention once in a while? Bad enough Zero was still MIA (she was going to castrate him) and the BKs were slowly coming apart, but now she was left cleaning up after her underling’s sheer stupidity! An oh so familiar twang went shooting across Sakura’s skull, causing the young redhead to groan slightly. Ugh. Cue Bitch Headache.
Rubbing her temples tiredly, Sakura shuffled towards Lake Kawagucci, a somewhat peaceful afternoon being her goal for today. Given the phone call however, Sakura highly doubted this would be feasible. Yet, it never hurt to try, no? Reaching closer to the lake, Sakura was able to make out the silhouette of an individual. She squinted her eyes slightly, trying to get a better view. It wouldn’t matter if it was the common, everyday citizen (after all, Lake Kawagucci was a popular tourist attraction) but it would suck major monkey ass if it turned out to be some member of the army. Or worse…a royal.
“I honestly wonder why the nations fight it would be better to be one big nation honestly then it wouldn’t be so hard" Sakura paused mid-step, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. Who the hell? Who the hell was this person, talking to his onesy about the idea of a unified country? Some idealist? Sakura mentally scoffed. Poor delusional guy. As if the world could be united in some giant happy dance. "Ah but unless someone stops the fighting that can never be and its only wishful thinking." Sakura rolled her eyes slightly. War was inevitable. As much as peace was desired, there was and always will be an egghead who wants to push the shiny red button. That was just the way the world worked. She learnt that the hard way.
Sakura shook her head slightly. No need to start taking a trip down memory lane. There were more important things at the moment. First off, the nature of this guy sitting by her what was supposed to be sanctuary. He didn’t look like anyone from the army-he didn’t appear to be armed (at least, not what she could see). Sakura squinted her eyes as she remained hidden behind a tree. Tall, dark hair…
Her eyes widened slightly. “Shit.” was all that she could utter as she finally realized who was sitting a mere few feet away from her. Kuro Vi Britannia, Fourth Prince of the Imperial Family. Sakura felt all color drain from her face. Although she had never met him face to face during her days as a Knight, the fact that he was a royal alone was more than enough of a reason for her stomach to knot unpleasantly. Sakura could only be thankful for that packet containing the names and photos off all known members of the royal family that was sitting on her desk back at Base. If it weren’t for that, Sakura would not have had a clue as to the identity of this guy. But the fact that she knew who he was did not help her in any case. Question was, how to get out. ‘Well, I could just run for it…’ Sakura shook her head. No, that would cause too much attention. Casually walk away? Perhaps. But then again…
Sakura glanced back at the man’s form by the lake. There he was. Just sitting there. A freaking royal. She could easily knock him out and bring him back to Base as a hostage-
She mentally slapped herself. ‘Baka! No hostages without Zero’s orders…besides, odds are the guy can put up a fight…most royals can…and it’s not like I can just carry the body of an unconscious prince around and not expect to attract attention!’ Sakura groaned slightly, the pang in her head becoming more and more prominent.
“Fuck my life.”

‘What should I do? Bolt for it? Kidnap? Call in reinforcements? Arghh….’ Sakura groaned slightly as a thousand thoughts ran through her head. Normally she would be able to act quickly, but lately….
"Who is behind the tree if you are honest I promise no punishment ?" Sakura snapped her head up at the sound of feet approaching. Crap. He heard her. Shit. He was coming. Fuck. He was armed. Remaining silent as possible, Sakura scooched back a bit, despite the fact that it served no purpose. It was merely an act of reflex. Turning her head back, her eyes scanned the area, trying to find a quick escape route. But everywhere she looked, there were people. Sakura mentally cursed any and all possible gods available. ‘So much for vegging out…’
“Show yourself Kuro Vi Britannia commands you!" Emerald eyes narrowed to slits. Oh, so now he’s ordering her, huh? Little Prince wants to flaunt his power, eh? Sakura scoffed slightly. Made her sick.
Sakura knew that she shouldn’t let her emotions get the better of her. That was one of the first rules of battle: emotions must be discarded. Sakura knew that right now she was about to be a complete and utter dumbass, and that most likely will pay the price for it. She knew Anju would kill her if she ever got whiff of this. She knew all that, yet still…
“And you wonder why the world is always in war.” Sakura stepped out from behind the tree, finally making herself present. Hands folded across her chest, her fingertips grazing the hilt of her sword, Sakura glared at the Fourth Prince with cold, dark eyes. “It’s because people like you are in power. You guys think that just because Big Brother sits on a shiny seat you get to go and treat everyone else like shit, ordering other humans around as if being born into the Pendragon automatically makes you special? Please” Sakura bit out a cold laugh, her eyes emotionless. Once upon a time, Sakura had sworn to protect the royal family’s name, that she would give up her life in a heartbeat for a Princes’ or Princess’. Once upon a time, Sakura thought the world was just and that there was good in the hearts of the members of the Imperial Family. Once upon a time…
Sakura shook her head slightly, a sad smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. The fairytale had ended. There was no happily ever after. The pumpkin was forever a pumpkin and the Prince was never reunited with his Princess.
Sakura stared back at Kuro, her eyes emotionless.
“The royal family is nothing more than the common man gone sour.”

Kuro looked at her and instently knew her face " Sakura its suprising to see you again" eh said simply as he let go of the gun in his coat"remove you hand from your sword I'm not going to attack you unless you attack first" he said simply before he looked at her and his eyes hardened a bit for a moment before softening and he sighed at her comment of his family "I was on edge thats why I ordered my apoligies Sakura" he said honestly then he looked at her and he relaxed a bit his stance becoming calm and at ease but still ready incase she charges or pulls a gun. "So tell me how does your masked leader fair, still MIA at the moment?" he asked before smirking" I hope that your knights are prepaired in the future because soon I'll end this war and make sure it stops for good as long as I live" he said calmly but however his smile wasent assuring it promised that he would do as he said

Sakura’s position remained on the alert as she saw the fourth prince put away his gun. Her eyebrow rose slightly. Huh. So he was going to use that move, eh? The ‘lets be civil about this’ move. Aka: I don’t want to get my hands dirty. Sakura sighed slightly. As much as she hated to put her guard down, even if it was a fraction of an inch, it was common courtesy to loosen one’s guard when the opponent did. It would be shameful if she didn’t follow suit.
“ Remove you hand from your sword I'm not going to attack you unless you attack first.” Sakura felt her eyebrow twitch slightly in annoyance.
‘Quit ordering me around jackass…’ Sakura thought to herself as she bit her tongue in order to prevent herself from voicing her opinions. Her current situation sucked ass as it is. No need to stir up more trouble. “I was on edge that’s why I ordered my apologies Sakura" Sakura raised an eyebrow as she leaned back, her stance a bit more casual. Oho~ So it does know how to apologize. Guess that crazy teacher back at the Pendragon was useful. Go figure. “So tell me how does your masked leader fair, still MIA at the moment?” Sakura snapped her eyes over to Kuro, her eyebrows furrowed. How the hell did he know that Zero was gone? Last time she checked, it wasn’t made public? Was it due to the lack of action of behalf of the Black Knights that the Imperial Family presumed that Zero was gone? Or had someone from the Black Knights spill the beans? Her eyes narrowed to slits at the thought. If she ever got her hands on the idiot who let loose about Zero…
“I hope that your knights are prepared in the future because soon I'll end this war and make sure it stops for good as long as I live.” Sakura turned her attention back to Kuro, blinking dryly. Did she hear him correctly? Did the little prince over here just go and say that he was going to put an end to this war? Sakura snorted loudly. Riight. And Anju didn’t love alcohol.
Shaking her head slightly, an occasional chuckle escaping her throat once in a while, Sakura turned her attention back to the lake. “You’re gonna put an end to this, huh? Heh. You go do that. And while you’re at it, go find a cure for cancer.” Sakura shook her head. Really…they were so full of themselves. Members of the Imperial Family, that was. Always thinking that they could do anything, just because of their status. And yet, when things don’t turn out the way they want it, they blame it on the common person, saying that it is simply impossible for a royal to screw up. After all, royals were supposed to be the image of perfection, no? What’s a little war? Sure, this guy here will be able to put a stop to it! Sakura rolled her eyes, another snort capable of being heard. Pathetic. Delusional. Need she continue?
“As for your previous question, it is none of your concern as to how Zero is keeping. I do not know who or what told you that he’s gone MIA nor am I saying that whoever said that is telling the truth. But what I will tell you is that you silver-spoon-fed children back at the Pendragon had better brace yourselves.” Sakura smirked slightly.
“You’re not dealing with the Little League anymore.”

Kuro started to laugh heartly and he smirked" ah thats a good one Sakura but you have no idea what I have planned you don't even know if my family even knows about it" he said as he looked at her square in the eyes and smirked "But enogh fo that it would spoil the fun of the suprise and I don't want that" he said as he smiled poiltely masking his true emotions and acting like they were friends"Tell me what if I knew the location of Zero what would you do?" he qustioned to egg her on his smile still present on his face" if your nice I might tell you what I know"he added wanting to see her reaction he found it good to pick apart his enemys sometimes.

Sakura stared dryly at the Fourth Prince as he began to gloat about his supposedly super-duper-top-secret-musn’t-tell-you-but-will-hint-just-to-piss-you-off plan. Wow. What did the guy expect from her? A round of applause? A medal, perhaps? Or was he some disillusioned fool who actually expected a reaction from her? “But enough of that it would spoil the fun of the surprise and I don't want that.” Sakura raised an eyebrow. “Yup. Definitely a fool.” Sakura thought to herself as she sighed slightly, turning her attention to the lake a few feet away from her.
How did her day turn out like this? All what she had wanted was some peace and quiet. Nothing much, just a few hours to sit back and not have to deal with suicide bombers, captives, and the general stupidity of people. And what does she get? A phone call from her subordinates telling her that they (yet again) did not listen to her and now her work load was doubled, along with a lovely little meeting with Bishie-kun over here. Bishie-kun actually being a royal. Sakura rubbed her temples tiredly. She needed tea. Now. ‘Maybe if I just walk away, I-
"Tell me what if I knew the location of Zero what would you do?" Emerald eyes snapped towards Kuro, the look empty. “if your nice I might tell you what I know." It took everything in Sakura’s willpower to not snort at the man. Oh, was this cute? The man tries to taunt! How absolutely freaking adorable.
Sakura blinked dryly twice at Kuro, her expression blank. What the hell did this man expect? Did he really think she would be all sugary sweet and actually believe him? The odds of Anju giving up booze were higher.
But at the same time, perhaps it would be beneficial for Sakura to play along for the time being. After all, the kid was a royal. Perhaps he had overheard something and would be enough of an idiot to spill it. Sakura raised an eyebrow slightly. Yea right.
“Well, frankly I’d call you an idiot. Or perhaps a dumbass. Not sure which. But you get the jist of it. I mean, why the hell would someone like you know where Zero is? You aren’t some head military leader nor are you the Emperor. You are merely a prince. If you were, say, the First Prince, then I can see why you’d be so involved. But the Fourth? Doesn’t sit so well. Once you get past the Second or Third in line, the others just don’t stick out so much y’know? Militaristically speaking.” Sakura shrugged slightly. “Once you get past the top three, the rest of the members are accessory items, really. No offense.” So she was blunt. Boo freakin’ hoo. Sakura shrugged again, turning her attention back to the lake. “However, I could use a good laugh right about now…and your idea of telling me where you think Zero is is amsusing. So. Am I being nice enough for you to speak? Or do I have to do some sort of happy dance?”

Kuro laiughed a bit then he calmed down and smiled a bit "Sakura honestly your right I have no information on zero I was doing that to get a rise out of you but I see I failed I expected that from the former knight of three " he said as he leaned agsint a tree"but enough I came here to relax and I have a feeling you did too so I'm not going to boehter you anymore if you don't bother me" he said calmy before he looked at her" but you try anything at all and I'll kill you right here and now" he said to her his voice completely serious before he turned to walked back to the waters edge.

"Sakura honestly your right I have no information on zero I was doing that to get a rise out of you but I see I failed I expected that from the former knight of three." Sakura’s eyes darkened slightly. Knight of Three. She bit out a laugh. How long was it since she last donned that title? A year? Two years? Either way, it was a part of Sakura’s history that brought back foul memories. Of course, there had been good times…but they were overshadowed by the darker ones.
“Glad to be your guinea pig…” Sakura muttered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Folding her arms, Sakura returned her gaze back to the lake, an aura of sheer peeve surrounding her. Seriously. She was having one of the most shitacular days in her life. Okay, maybe not in her life but somewhere near that. And Mr. Royal Pain in My Ass was not helping. Lets ignore the fact that the man hasn’t done anything to her physically nor has he started to scream for his royal entourage to haul her ass back to the loverly domain of the Pendragon…
Sakura frowned slightly. Come to think of it…
“…but you try anything at all and I'll kill you right here and now"
“Hmgh?” Emerald eyes flashed back to the Fourth Prince, a bored expression on her face. What was he blabbering about this time? Something about threatening her if she did something…
Sakura blinked dryly once, an eyebrow arching slightly. Oho~ So the little royal isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty? It took everything in her willpower not to snort. Please The day a member of the Imperial Family would get their own hands tainted instead of summoning one of their little puppets who served them was the day Sakura gave up tea for good. Not happening this century.
‘But now that I think about it…’ Sakura’s eyes began to scan the area. ‘…I don’t see any guards….nor do I feel the presence of one…’ She frowned slightly, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion. What the hell? What was this, a prince roaming around without accompaniment? Never had Sakura heard of such a thing-that would be like plastering a target sign on the Prince’s back and giving anti-Britannian groups a shotgun with unlimited bullets!
Sakura glanced back at Kuro, a slightly disbelieving look on her face. “You kill me? Yourself? Don’t you mean you’d get your underlings to kill me?” She rose a delicate eyebrow. “Surely you wouldn’t want to get your hands dirty…ne?”

Kuro looked at her and for a moment hsi face void of emotion before he leaned aginst a tree and watched the water"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty"he said without looking at her as he thought about his designs and also why Sakura would be here without back up"Oi Sakura come here please" he asked her calmly" I would like your option on this war and if you think it should stop?" he asked again curious about her option he didnt know know her option about this war and he thought it might help him maby he could even gain an ally if he played his cards right "Hey sakura I ment to ask why are you here without back up not that I mind." he mentioned chuckling slightly and looked around as if surveying the area before he sighed and looked at the water and his face took a peaceful look and he smiled softly

You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty" Sakura rose an eyebrow slightly, surprise etched on her face. Heh~ Big words coming from the royal. Sakura shrugged slightly, turning her gaze back to the lake, eyes scanning out across the surface. ‘Big or not…his words are true. Guess not all royals are delusional…suppose one or two have had a taste of reality.’ Sakura thought to herself, biting out a cold chuckle. Funny thought…royals understanding the harsh reality of life. Chuckling slightly to herself, Sakura shook her head, ridding the thought from her mind.
“Oi Sakura come here please.” Sakura lifted her gaze to Kuro, eyebrow still raised but now risen in a suspicious manner. What was this? Royal summons her over? Could mean either one of two things: a) he wanted her to be his little obedient servant and fetch him something or b) he wanted her over so that way he could easily grab her. There was no option ‘c’ stating that he just wanted to talk. There couldn’t be; he was a royal and she was a wanted fugitive.
‘But he did drop his weapon…given the circumstances, I would be being a bonafide bitch (which I am) if I don’t-
“I would like your opinion on this war and if you think it should stop?” Kuro’s voice snapped Sakura out of her thoughts, his question causing the young Commander to whirl her head over to the Fourth Prince, eyes widened in surprise. Where the hell did that come from?
Blinking slightly, Sakura shook her head, clearing her mind as her feet subconsciously moved towards the Lake’s edge so that she was standing next to Kuro, but an obvious space between the two. Staring out at the lake, Sakura felt a slight smile tug the corners of her mouth as she watched a child splash its mother from across. “War, huh?” she said finally, after a few minutes of silence. “I’d be a naive fool if I said that war was bad and should be eradicated immediately.” a cold smile played on her lips. “I’d be a hypocrite if I said war was beneficial to society overall.” She shrugged slightly. “To me, war is the inevitable. Would it be nice if war did not exist? Of course. But we do not live in a world where magical fairies float, sprinkling happy dust everywhere. Fact is, war is a part of society…whether its good or not. It’s something that can’t be avoided, and one has to come to terms with that. Granted one wants to live, of course.”
Turning to Kuro, her eyes showing both experience and wisdom, Sakura shrugged again. “As for this war, it is merely a tool for me. I needed some kind of leverage to get my revenge on Britannia, and the Black Knights provide that. Nothing more.” Sighing slightly, Sakura turned her attention back to the lake. The mother and child were gone. Sakura’s eyes lowered for a brief moment, before regaining its sharp stare. “Random question, though. Why you ask?”

Kuro nodded and sighed deeply his eyes held wisdom and understanding in them"Your answers make perfect sense and I'm glad you have the outloook on it" he said calmly to her his face was soft and relaxed his red eyes looked at her calmly"Sakura I know how much you hate britannia and the royal family and if it means anything I'm sorry what my country has done to you I'll understand though if you refuse my apoligy" he said as he looked at the sky"I never thought that my country did so much bad but I know that I need to change it somehow for the better and if Alastair won't do it then I will regardless of what he says" he said his voice was low and the last part was not in a pleasent tone

“Sakura I know how much you hate Britannia and the royal family and if it means anything I'm sorry what my country has done to you I'll understand though if you refuse my apology" Sakura’s eyes flickered back down to Kuro, her expression unreadable. Ah. Here we go. The ‘I’m so sorry that my family is composed of idiots’ speech. Well. She had to admit, there weren’t many royals who had directly apologized to her like this. After she had gone bonkers and was imprisoned, those who did see her merely sneered and said that she was a disgrace to the name Knight of Rounds. It felt weird having a Prince openly apologize on behalf of his family like this, but that did not change anything in Sakura’s heart. It wasn’t as if he was sincere about this. Sincerity and Imperial Family were words that just did not fit in the same sentence. Sakura mentally snorted. Odds were this guy was just humoring her. “I never thought that my country did so much bad but I know that I need to change it somehow for the better and if Alastair won't do it then I will regardless of what he says.” Sakura bit out a cold snort. So in short, the man was struck by lightening and had an epiphany? And he is now under the illusion that he will change the world single-handedly and will crush anyone who tries to stop him, even if it is the Emperor? Sakura shook her head, a second cold laugh escaping her throat. There was a borderline as to how delusional one can become. This guy crossed it.
“Regular comedian, aren’t you?” Sakura said, chuckling slightly. “You’re telling me that you are somehow going to turn this world of bloodshed into one where pixies float about, accompanied by fuzzy bunnies?” Sakura raised an eyebrow mockingly, another chuckle capable of being heard. “Delusional. Naive. Fool. The list grows.” Sakura shrugged slightly. “But if that’s what makes you happy, then by all means continue dreaming your little dream of magical fairies prancing about.” Her eyes darkened slightly as she stared beyond the lake. “Perhaps it would be best for you not to wake up and see reality. You might not be able to handle it.” She said before stretching widely, her gaze back to its neutral look. “Well then. I think its about time I went for my tea.” She glanced up at the sun. Yea. She was overdue. Turning on her heel, Sakura took a few steps away from the lake before pausing slightly. Glancing over her shoulder, Sakura smiled humorlessly. “Thank you for the apology. However, if ‘sorry’ could solve everything, we would all be in a circle singing Kumbaya.”

1st Division do this. 3rd Division do that. 7th Division go here, not there. It would be nice to be attached to a number and have ones orders so clearly dictated (although that didn’t necessarily mean they were followed properly apparently), but sadly that wasn’t the case for Lucien. He was more of a wild card, which might have had more to due with his slight dual allegiance than his actual specialized talents. Because of his status, normally he went where he was needed when commanded by one of the few people he cared to listen to (which usually meant a Division Captain or higher). It was nice at times to be able to do as he pleased, or do what suited him best instead of being just a generic soldier, but it often left him bored. Most of the divisions were out on patrol or reconnaissance or something more entertaining than waiting for orders. Even Sakura was out, leaving Lucien even more bored than usual. It didn’t help that with Zero in the wind, ranks were breaking down and loyalty was wavering.
Lucien’s day started to turn around however when he overheard a rather annoyed call from the Commander in Chief regarding some apparently confusion with her orders. An annoyed Sakura was no fun at all, so Lucien decided it would be his duty for the day to cheer her up. After all, he didn’t have anything better to do.
The GPS in Sakura’s phone traced to Lake Kawaguchi, and Lucien made his way there. It would have been one of his top choices anyway as to where to look for her, but knowing made things considerably easier. Lucien could never remember Sakura taking tea in a thermos, but it had been his best option for tea transportation, so it would have to do. When Sakura was in a bad mood there was only one sure cure: tea. And by sure cure, Lucien had learned it only made her tolerance level increase; it didn’t necessarily improve her mood.
Finding Sakura was easy enough; Lucien could recognize her silhouette easily, but what interested him is that she was with someone. Body language told him they were talking together, but even as Lucien stepped closer he couldn’t tell if it was friendly or not. He didn’t recognize her companion either. Old friend, new ally, random person? Either way they all meant the same thing to Lucien: new toy.
“Thank you for the apology. However, if ‘sorry’ could solve everything, we would all be in a circle singing Kumbaya.”
Lucien arched a delicate red eyebrow as he approached the pair. “Well, I’m clearly joining the conversation at the wrong time. I would have brought marshmallows if I had known there would be singing involved.” He said with a grin to both of them before offering the thermos to Sakura. “Can the thoughtful messenger get a kiss for his trouble?” Lucien asked innocently, turning his cheek to Sakura for his desired reward. Closer now, Lucien could get a better look at the man Sakura was talking with, and now he doubted it was a friendly conversation. Civil perhaps, but not friendly. Still, he was still the same thing to Lucien.
