» YOU'RE IN THEN OUTPERSONALITY Luka has two personalities, aka, he suffers from dissociative personality disorder (DID), for he was used as Anderson's test subject (more of it in History).
Luka is a charming young fellow. He's calm, thoughtful, well-mannered and thorough. Loves animals, especially birds. He loves to sit down with a good book, and a cup of coffee on a balcony and just read for hours. He hates to be disturbed in a situation like that and gets highly annoyed. He also loves to cook, particularly crabs and other crustacean. He's also really talented shooter/sniper and a Knightmare pilot. Could hit a coin from 3000ft with an accurate rifle.
Ira, Luka's second personality is quite contrary really short-tempered and selfish. Really loves to piss people off, not so much to kill them. Ira is the side that has more temper, and he's the more agile one. Where Luka is a unbelievable sniper, Ira is unbelievably agile, fast and talented with Knightmares. Unlike normal DID patients, Luka can control Ira without medicine (a bit). Ira doesn't participate in Luka's everyday life, unless Luka gets really upset, or frightened, though he might just come and state his opinion out of the blue. This means that Ira really rarely takes control of Luka. On the battlefield Ira doesn't act like a savage or a lunatic, more like a frightened animal, though more rational, fighting for his life, trying to end the battle with minimum casualties and to escape.

» MEMORIES, SUPPOSED TO FADERELATIVES Luka lost his memory so he can't remember, although he has a portrait of his parents in his wallet.
HISTORY
Born 2094 in countryside of mainland Britannia. His father was a Knightmare engineer from where his passion toward Knightmares got its spark. His mother was a journalist working for a small press. Both parents had long days and usually had to work overtime due to outbreaking wars between Britannia and other countries, the child was accustomed to live by himself at a really young age. Cooking, hunting and household chores were his daily routine since he was 10. Luka loved hunting with his grandfathers old rifle, which perhaps was the main reason for him to join the army at the age of 16. Due to this hobby of his, he was good at shooting and succeeded well in his military training, as well as acquiring many friends due to his pleasant and overall well liked personality. Among these friends was one of the corporals of his unit, a man named Gervasius Drebbel. Mutually sharing the passion toward Knightmare Frames, they became good friends as well as rivals, Gervasius perhaps being the only one to outstand him in piloting among his peers.
Luka proceeded swiftly in his military career, outshining everyone in shooting as well as Knightmare piloting. He was soon promoted first to a corporal and not long after a sergeant and a subordinate officer, while Gervasius rose through ranks to finally become his captain. Luka became a shooting trainer for new recruits and got his own squad to lead as time went by, but due to his squad's lack in training, he was moved to Gervasius' team when the war between Britannia and E.U. got heated once again. The friends fought side by side, Gervasius as a team leader and Luka as a sniper, until an unfortunate turn of events. Gervasius' Knightmare got an injury and he had to evacuate, but he couldn't exit his Knightmare due to a hatch malfunction, so he called for help from his friend. Luka rushed to the rescue, but was too late, as Gervasius' Knightmare blew up. A shard from the destroyed Knightmare speared Luka's hatch and damaged his left eye, leading to a state of coma that would last for eight months. At the time this all took place, Luka was 23 years old senior officer.
While in coma, Luka was chosen by Anderson, to become his test subject. This was due to his eye damage, and his state in coma, that would be really useful considering the test he was going to commit. Luka, who was deeply in coma, was ment to become Anderson's first eye replacement subject with the exception, that he wasn't going to get only a replacing part, but also 2 times faster and more accurate eye than his normal eye. They meant to replace both of his eyes, making him probably the most accurate and the most reflexive soldier ever, but they managed to change only one of his eyes, for he suddenly woke up during the preparations. This was the birth of Ira, for the narcotics Anderson used to ensure Luka was asleep created him an alternative personality. Now awake, Ira tried to free himself and to escape, killing two guards during his rampage. This didn't last for long though, for he was quickly given another injection to put him back to sleep. Anderson, a bit shaken, decided the patient wasn't suitable for processing anymore and should be given to the authorities and taken to a normal hospital to recover. The last injection however, had a pleasant affect on Luka for Anderson's behalf. Luka woke up after eight month's "coma" with no memories of the past whatsoever.

SAMPLE
Beep, beep The sound of a heart rate monitor woke him up. Where am I? He tried to open his eyes, but the pain was excruciating. Now now, you wouldn't try that again would ya? That'll hurt us both like hell. That voice again. He thought it had only been a dream. Who are you? And where am I? He tried to hear something, anything. A human breathing, a breeze of wind from an open window... but he heard nothing. Nothing except the heart rate monitor beeping besides him. My my, you don't know who I am? Interesting. This guy was really frustrating. And how did he know his eyes hurt? Now, that I knew for my eyes hurt as well. And no need to get frustrated, otherwise we'll have difficulties living together. Would you even please tell me where we are? No question about it, this guy was a maniac. He tried yet again to open his eyes, but at the moment he felt the pain hitting his eyes he also felt as something forced him close his eyes. I told you to keep those eyes shut. And for your information it'd seem we're in a hospital. It seems as we'd been here for a while also, for I can smell lilies for sure. And the pain in my hand indicates that we're in IV therapy. Who are you? He could now hear footsteps approaching from the corridor. Seems like you'll be having guests. No matter, I'll be seeing you soon enough. He could feel something leaving, not the room but still leaving. Wait! Who are you? You can call me Ira.
The footsteps were now near enough for him to hear the men speaking. There were at least three of them, one appeared to be his doctor. The other two sounded like they could've only been from the Britannian army. Good day to you. I see you're awake. How does your eye feel? Must've been the doctor. He felt someone touching his face. Hurts. Where am I? How did I end up here? The doctor removed the bandage covering his eyes. Could you open your eyes for me? We are in a city hospital in Tokyo Settlement. You were brought to us a few weeks ago. You've been in coma for some half a year. He opened his eyes. The pain had settled so that he could now keep his eyes open for a while. His left eye felt like it was burning. There truly were three men standing around him, one was his doctor still holding the bandage and the other two were from the army. Or so it seemed. My my, that looks painful. What was your name again? I... I don't know. I can't remember. I can't remember anything. One of the men standing behind the doctor opened a file he was holding in his hand. Your name is Luka Hawcroft. You are a senior officer of the Britannian Army. You were in an accident due to which your left eye had to be replaced and you've been hospitalized for eight months. Yeah, an accident, that's what they'll keep telling you. Ira? But... He couldn't see the man speaking. Where was this Ira? He said his eyes hurt too but there were no other patients in the room. No one spoke, yet still... No worries, I'll be here with you. Ask for a mirror. He indeed wanted to know what was going on with his eye, so he asked the doctor to bring him a mirror. Not long after a nurse came in and brought him a small hand mirror. The doctor started to talk once again as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. They weren't able to save your eye so it had to be replaced. Unfortunately, your genome was so special that they couldn't find a match with the same color as yours. I'm sorry. They sure hadn't found a proper eye for him. From the looks of it, it'd seem that the color of his eyes were brown, for his right eye was brown. The replaced eye on the other hand was green. Lime green. What? This is absurd. How can it be? The doctor opened his mouth again to speak but no words came out. At least he didn't hear any of them for someone spoke over him. To Luka's surprise no one else seemed to hear it. It can't. They are lying. I don't know what happened, but something did and I'm going to find out what it was. Take a good look in the mirror, THAT's me. Better get used to it. Luka looked in the mirror again. This time his left eye blinked and his reflection smirked, although he was sure he didn't. You said I was a senior officer? The doctor seized his lecture about eye replacements and human genome as the elder man shifted him and took his place. And you still are. I'm your superior, major Austin. Do you know what happened? The man shook his head Sorry to say, I don't. They told me it was some sort of an accident. I'm sorry. But, I was sent here to tell you, that after your recovery you'll be accepted back to the Britannian colors with your old rank. Luka nodded. There was nothing he would find out now, not here. Besides he craved for two things. First of them, was a book. Second, god knows why, shooting. Doctor, when will I be able to leave?
NOTES 10 days til army's over, yahae~ ^^
