`CUSTOM FACTION As there has been requests from players to have their own little factions, the staff has discussed the matter and decided that from now on, such would indeed be possible.
Just remember that although officially acknowledged as a faction, players' own factions can never be as powerful as the canon ones. Also some rules have been set to when forming a new faction:
- at least five(5) characters are needed to join the new faction before it can be officially formed
- there can be no more than two(2) characters per player in the starter five - in other words there must be at least three members wishing to form the new faction
- NPCs are not valid for the starter five
After the faction has become official, there's no characters per player limits whatsoever.
These rules are to ensure that the new factions won't be just formed in a random whim or such, and that they wouldn't die off the instant they're being created because of dire shortage of members or in lack of one person's inspiration etc.
Had you any questions, don't hesitate to PM a staff member about it.
Here's the faction application form.

Faction Name: The faction's official name. Aliases/abbreviations (if any):
Members: Who are with the faction - minimum of five(5) player characters.
Example: - Leader in bold - Member 1 - Member 2 - Member 3 - Member 4
[Important note!] Max two(2) characters per player in the starter five when forming a new faction. NPCs are not valid for the starter five.
[/color] After the faction has become official, there's no characters per player limits whatsoever. Ranking System: The ranking system of your faction. Fill in also the positions of the first five members. Reference can be found here. Ambition: Why has the faction been formed - what are its goals, beliefs, for what is it fighting for etc. At least 3 good paragraphsHistory: Where, when, how etc. was the faction established - a brief addition to just why. At least 2 good paragraphsExtra: Anything you might want to add besides listed above.

`YOUR CREDITS When your character is officially accepted, you may have noticed you now have $2000 Credits, faction leaders having $4000. That's your starting fund. You may spend this in the Knightmare Shop as you see fit, or save it for further purchases.
If you have any further questions please PM a staff member or Tristan.

SCIENTISTS/INVENTORS Upon Anju's questioning and a bit of thought, the staff has decided to make scientists and inventors active roles in the game world. To do this, we've made the following changes:
- All scientists who have a science-based rank in their respective faction will receive 20% off the market price in the Knightmare Shop, to facilitate the ability to craft parts on their own at a lower cost.
- Scientists may now create custom weapons and parts, much like we can currently create custom Knightmares and modified Knightmares. I will devise a template to make this process easier. Any scientist who would like to create a new part must fill out this template and apply, much like a person applies for a character. Once the part application is complete, the staff will judge whether or not it's feasible as a new part to be used and either approve or deny the application. If approved, the staff will set a fair price on the part. At that point, the scientist may create said part/Knightmare for their faction to use.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to send a pm to a staff or Aloysius.

GEASS/IMMORTALS
Okay everyone, if anyone wants to make a character with a geass ability or an immortal, please read this.
A character can only acquire a geass through a contract with an Immortal. Basically how it will work is the Immortal will offer a contract to a character (through PM) after running it by staff. If the recipient accepts the contract, the staff with design a custom geass for him/her based on his/her greatest wish or desire just like it is in the show.
To prevent favoritism the Immortal's player can not offer a contract to another character they play. The staff will be checking, and the contract will be denied if this happens!
Also, as for Immortals. Anyone interested in playing an Immortal should PM the staff. Do not post your application until you have contact them!

`POSTING ORDERS This site has post orders, which means we expect everyone to maintain a post order within threads. This means you post in the same order each rotation.
For example, if A, B, C were in a thread together, the posting order will come as follow:
A -> B -> C -> A -> B -> C
When a new member, let's say 'D' Joins, the order will be as the following:
A -> B -> C -> A -> D -> B -> C -> A -> D -> B -> C ->
There a new order is set.
We use a post order for several reasons.
- First, if two players happen to be on at the same time, it prevents them from going back and forth for hours in a thread with others besides themselves. This is unfair to other players who may live in different timezones or simply have different schedules.
- Also, even if the thread is moving very quickly, it is still a hindrance to characters who may have to respond to two posts by the same character. This does not allow for proper response or reaction to each character individually.
Post order may be ignored if a character leaves the thread (or potentially the scene), or has been absent for an extended period of time without contact. Let's say if the member hasn't come online for a week without any excuses, then you may post on. But if the member has said that he/she is going to be away, then please wait until the member has come back and posted, unless told otherwise.
Otherwise, please keep to a post order. It is the fairest way to run things. And realistically, one character is most likely not going to stand idly by and listen to two others talk back and forth in a conversation he or she was previously involved in.
