it! Forget that she ever said that this ball was turning out not so bad, she had enough people bowing to her, enough people asking her to dance and enough people kissing her hands. Arella look a look at her hand, yes, the hand that had touched over 20 lips. She shivered at the thought of 20 lips touching her hands, she doesn't have a clue where those lips has been. But it couldn't be all that bad, at least they would wash their mouths after eating then come and kiss her hands. The woman sighed, who was she kidding? She had never liked being touched by people but she had guessed that this was the only way it was going to be. Another noble or clone came up to Arella to greet her, Arella paused for it a moment as she stared at the woman's hands. Gloves... why didn't she think of that before? Suddenly her brain had disappeared from the ballroom and back in her childhood where she was to learn about the queens of Britannia, well she doesn't remember much on it but she did remember one thing, all of those queenies wore gloves. Arella gave a quick slap on her forehead, it was quick, quick enough to be kept a secret. Arella bet no one saw it, there weren't many people who were sure of her being the empress-to-be so she had guessed that all the kissings for her hand was done for the night. Ouch, wrong guess. A thought ran through her head as a finger tapped on her shoulder once again, not guessing who it was this time she found her robot-nin-maid. Arella didn't really remember her name, but it started with a Ki... or was it a Gi ? She darned herself as she was never good at Japanese in the first place. "It's you again" she stared into the woman's eyes, "would you please stop going in and out on me?" she asked, her tone sliding in her anger zone. But the maid ignored her question as if it wasn't important at all, Arella looked at the maid's right hand as it lifted to point at something behind her. Glancing back she had to ask what the woman was pointing at, finally after a long pause the woman answered. "Do you see them?" she asked Arella who looked at the crowd for a while, "darling, I see a lot of people out there" Arella answered back frowning a bit. She didn't add the part where she thought everyone looked the same, which they actually did, the masks made things worst though...much worst. She could hear a sigh from the maid, pointing again at the group near the drinks. Oh, the drinks, Arella took a glance at the group, then her eyes turned to the drinks. She needed something to drink, anything, she'd even take water. Arella was dreading with thirst and was far too busy, thanks to her eyes wondering around, to get to that table. "ahh, thank you. I am parched" Arella thanked as she started to walk towards the drinks but was stopped once again. Arella took a glance back at the maid and glared, was she going to stop a woman and her water from meeting each other? Was she going to be this cruel to her? She had guessed the maid got her glare as the maid made a 'tsk, tsk, tsk' sound. Oh that tsk, tsk, tsk, Arella thought, she hadn't heard that in years. No one has stopped her from doing what she has wanted since her father had died so she was rather happy about it. "The people I am pointing at is almost everyone from the royal family" the maid finally told Arella. Arella took a while to take it in, she stood looking at the maid for a while, then back the group that she was pointing at. She found a girl with a soft pink colored dress. It was actually pretty, of course Arella still wouldn't wear it but still it wasn't as bad as her dress, nothing could be as bad as her dress. Arella stared at the dress, it was pink but it wasn't hidious, she stared back down at her's and a comment came out of her mouth. "not as hidious as mines" she said, frowning, she was wishing to find another freak-show around the place. Maybe her luck only lasts for around 5 minutes and disappears until another moon rises. Arella went on as she saw, of course, the freak-show couple, who had saved her from making a fool of herself in her dress. She should thank them, one day. She stared at their conversation, it had seem, the pink dressed girl wasn't fond of Mi...Mi, Arella paused her thoughts to think the girl's name. She had forgotten it so easily, the only thing she remember was that it started with a Mi or was it a Ri? Arella was starting to really hate Japanese names, even though she has been in Japan for a while, all the orphans that she has been playing around with had short names. For example, they only had 3 letters, the most out be five, it would go from Asa to Zen but it wasn't long. Okay, maybe the girl's name wasn't that long but still it confused her, it was either Miyuki or Mikiyu. Sometimes things just twisted without knowing, she hated her forgetable mind at times. Snapping out of her thoughts, Arella had gaven up on the name, she had guessed that she would ask her again when she sees her. Looking back up at the group she found two more members, Arella blinked for a while, how do these people keep popping up? She found the maid beside her, her lips moving, Arella hadn't caught much but she did catch that the maid was telling her who was who. She stared at the group, what long and forgetful names Arella moaned to herself as she pushed to go meet them. She wasn't used to introducing herself, what was she supposed to say to a bunch of teenagers? "oh hi, I am your new sister-in-law, nice you meet you" ? She guessed not. Or she could always go with that royalty talk, "oh why hello there, you must be sons and daughters of royalty. It is my, Arella Destiny's, pleasure you meet you and serve you as your sister-in-law" Arella paused for a while, she could have just gagged on that thought. "Arella-sama...just go" the maid snapped her out and once again pushed her over to the group. Arella walked by the group, pretending to get a drink of water. Arella then glanced back to see if her robot-maid was around, fortunate for her, she had disappeared this time. Arella could dance that she had disappeared. Was she really going to go say hi to these royal teengers? No, she was not, she had no idea what she had to say and she had already pissed two people off in that group, there is no telling who else she'll piss off. [/ul]

Ayame continued to eye the redhead, her face uncharacteristically serious. "Oh yes, several kinds- including my favorites- chocolate chip, and chocolate chunk, as well as a few variations of the two. This is, after all a ball isn't it?” An eyebrow rose and golden eyes returned back to the bitten cookie. So. This girl brought cookies, did she? Thought she could win the hearts of the family via pastries, did she? Tried to outdo Ayame in baking did she!? Ayame took several measured breaths as she willed herself calm. No, mustn’t make a scene…no, mustn’t lunge across and grab Frilly-san by the throat and squeeze…no mustn’t attempt to shove this cookie down its maker’s throat… Ayame, generally speaking, was a very likable person. For the most part, she got along with everyone-even those who tried to make her do things she hated (ie: sensei and her army of maids). There were very few people who Ayame disliked. Even fewer who gave Ayame an iffy sort of feeling. This woman was one of them. Of course, lets not forget that the red clad woman hadn’t done anything physically to the Third Princess that could vindicate this feeling she was having, nor had the woman been overly rude. In fact, she had been quite the lovely little bird, perfectly perched next to her brother. But yet, this woman was bringing out one side of Ayame that most people tried to suppress. Ayame’s eyes flashed back to Miyuki and then back down to the cookie. There was another thing Ayame was well known for, beyond her tomboyish and spastic nature: her competitiveness. Ayame was a full blooded monster when it came to being competitive. Especially in baking. If there was one thing Ayame prided herself above all things, it was her ability to out-bake the royal chef. As such, Ayame had somewhat of a reputation amongst both members of her family as well as staff and friends as the one who made the baked goods served at balls at the Pendragon. Thus, having Miyuki claim to have brought cookies to the same ball that Ayame baked for was considered to be a declaration of war in her eyes. This made the girl only one thing in the spazz’s eyes: a rival. Ayame was weird when it came to her rivals. She was brutal when competing, yet her rivals were some of the people she valued the most. It was a strange relationship. For the most part she would be friendly with them, simply due to her nature. Yet, once competition began, all sense of friendship was gone and Ayame fought ruthlessly. She would no longer be chirpy and cheerful towards them; rather she would become sarcastic and frankly…rude. However, should a third party try to defeat her rival before she could, Ayame would take them down. For in her eyes, only she was allowed to bring her opponents down. It was a strange relationship and most rivals misunderstood her as just being plain nasty, but that was the way Ayame worked. She glanced a second time back at Miyuki, a slight smirk gracing her face, her eyes flickering slightly with that all too familiar wild glint. ‘Bring it on, bitch. Bring it on.’ “Oh, have they been overcooked? I do apologize if they are, I had a new servant helping with the baking today." The eyebrow arched higher. Oho~ What was this? Her rival couldn’t even bake without assistance? How disappointing. The urge to laugh mockingly grew, but Ayame resisted. Rather, a carefree one emanated from her throat. “Oh no, they are quite fine. Just a little crispy on the edges, is all…general taste is lovely…” she smiled warmly at Miyuki, taking a sip of her drink. ‘granted one doesn't mind ODing on chocolate...’ She glanced between Miyuki and Kuro, a smile still on her face. “So you say you met all because you got lost? Heh…got lucky, didn’t you Nii-sama~” Ayame teased, winking at her elder half-brother. The internal Ayame was in the corner shoving all five fingers down her throat. The door opened and Ayame turned her head to see who had entered. With any luck it would be a female, and not another love-sick puppy the Third Princess would have to deal with. The first thing Ayame took note of was that there was no sound of heels clicking accompanying the entering of the figure. Her heart dropped. Gender of guest: male. She craned her neck to try to get a better look. She caught only a glimpse. Her heart sank further. Height: tall. Age: early 20s…an age where many men sought her hand. She stifled a groan as she quickly turned her head back to avoid eye contact with the person, silently asking any and all gods to make herself invisible. The sound of footsteps approaching answered her. She fought back a grimace. “Good evening -" Ayame turned her head to see (much to her utmost delight) Euric standing by her looking…shocked. Ayame raised a quizzical eyebrow, her eyes following her brother’s. Her mouth formed an ‘o.’ Her dress. She was in one. A pink one at that. Yeah. She should have realized this would invoke this kind of reaction from her siblings. After all, who knew her better then they did? She saw the quick look of sympathy on the First Prince’s face, and she could only smile slightly. Yeah it sucked…but it wasn’t as if she was doing this for free. She glanced at the clock and grinned slightly. So far she had earned herself 1 ½ days off. “Good evening, Euric-niisama.” she said, dipping politely into a mini curtsy, her proper princess mode back on. “Ah Euirc I'm so glad you could make it brother ah I believe introductions are in order This is my girlfriend Miyuki and Miyuki this is Euric Qi Britannia and the first prince of britannia also my half brother just like the emperor.” Ayame stiffened slightly and flashed a glance to Euric as she took a sip of her drink, before turning her gaze back to the couple, the pleasant smile back on. Ayame was still unsure of how she felt about all of this. Personally speaking, Ayame gagged at the idea of romance. But that was the way she was. Obviously she expected her siblings to be different from her. But just because she knew that didn’t mean she was thrilled to bits either. Plus, of all people Kuro had chosen he chose a woman who (in Ayame’s stubborn as hell eyes) had declared war on her in the form of a chocolate-chip cookie! Sure the woman was being nice, and sure Kuro seemed happy to be with her…but still… “Good evening, Euric, Kuro. Ayame, you look lovely.” The suddenness of the voice caused Ayame to jump, a tiny squeak (for that was the most polite form of an outburst) of surprise being her vocal reaction. Turning her head around, Ayame’s eyes widened with delight as she saw her full blooded sister stand by her, looking (as expected) drop-dead gorgeous. For a brief second Ayame had the urge to fly tackle her sister in one of her signature death glomps. It had been a while since she had seen her sister, as the First Princess had been busy with god knows what, barricading herself in her office for days at a time. A wide smile spread across her face. Well, her being here meant one thing: she was relaxing. ‘About bloody time…’ she thought as she turned to face her sister fully before dipping into another mini curtsy, her head heading southward. “Thank you, Sylvana-neesama…you look beautiful yourself.” As she raised her head, Ayame saw from behind Sylvana’s head a tall blonde woman approach them. Quite the looker, actually. Ayame furrowed her eyebrows slightly as she wracked her brain for a name. Ok…usually Ayame knew names and faces when separate…it was putting a name to a face that she had problems with. But this was different. Not only did Ayame have no freaking clue who this woman was, but she didn’t recognize her face either?! ‘Shit, damn fuck~’ Ayame mentally sang out while outwardly maintaining a perfectly composed look. Ok…there were two ways she could approach this. She could either a) shut up and just smile and nod, or b) politely ask this lady who the hell she was. Ayame was never good at shutting up. Stepping aside so that she was standing next to Sylvana, Ayame smiled warmly at the woman and titled her head in a polite nod of greeting. “Good evening. Forgive me for not remembering, but you are….?” She trailed off, praying to all possible deities that this lady would not take offense and blab to sensei on her. Ayame fought the urge to shiver at the thought. Sensei would kill her if she found out. Clickie here to see Ayame’s dress (kudos to Sylvie for finding it/photoshopping it~)

"I see; I'll have to mention it to her. I hope the cakes aren't over done. I was baking everything, pretty much at once." miyuki replied to ayame.
She gave a curtsy to euric. "Prince euric, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope your enjoying yourself."
Hearing a new voice, she turned to see, whom she presumed to be another member of the family. "Hello, sylvana; another member of the family? Just how large is the family? I've heard from the future empress that it is very large." She chucked. "Most britiannian families are large."
She hoped that they wouldn't ask about her's, but chances are now- they would. The memory bothered her a lot less than several years ago; however, it still brought up uncomfortable memories."

I was late. Terribly late. It wasn't entirely my fault I was late to the ball. Problems with the dress had arisen before I even began dressing in the corset and petticoat. Of course royalty was expected to be fashionably late, but 30 minutes late was a bit too much. "That doesn't matter now. I'm here and that's all the counts."My eyes quickly scanned the floor for any handsome men to dance with, but it was pointless. Anyone that was currently at the ball I was either related to or had met at some other time. For an unknown reason my eyes took another scan of the floor. That's when I noticed that everyone was wearing a mask of some kind. I quickly spotted my elder sister and gracefully bounced over to her. "Sylvie, why is everyone wearing a mask?"

"So Ayame Euric do think anyone else from the family will come I invited eveyrone but I'm not sure how many will arrive? The First Prince could just but shrug for an answer to the younger prince. Well, at least that move didn't hurt his neck as much as nodding did. "I'm sorry, Kuro - frankly,oh how I hate myself for saying this, but I haven't heard that much of others for a while, at least not after the invitations arrived so there's no way for me to know." Still, a soft smile curving his lips, he continued: "But don't worry - as there are already quite many of us present, I think a couple of others will also join us, eventually." At least he really hoped so - it would really make all his earlier effort pointless if at least a certain someone wouldn't show up, after all...
"Good evening, Euric, Kuro.”
The voice. Her voice. A flicker of warmth ran through Euric's heart. Speak of the devil - thank something-graceful-out-there. Turning from Kuro and his avec to face his one and only older sister, a wide and warm smile spread across his face. Vana he greeted with it, and Sylvana with a polite half-bow to once again spare his neck. "Good to see you here, Sylvana -", the smile getting a slight smirk into it, "- hope you've had a good time." Well, sure she looked like she had - Euric could've bet his very head for that what had been and was a nightmare for Ayame, was something totally opposite to Vana. While the latter part of his latest sentence could have been interpreted also otherwise with the grin, deep inside Euric was sincerely happy to see her there - at the ball, all dressed up and as beautiful as ever, looking happier and more relaxed than in ages. Didn't I tell you, looks that I didn't drag you here for nothing after all? A 'what-did-I-say' type of glance from him to her.
To Miyuki's words Euric answered with a slight, polite smile. "Ah, yes, I am - thank you. You've done quite a good work with the dishes - I hear you've prepared many of them yourself." Euric took a sip of his drink, pondering whether he should take water next, as he could taste alcohol in the sweet liquid he now had in his goblet. Being exactly a fan of liquors, the First Prince was not. But soon hearing someone again joining their presence - now wasn't this becoming quite a group already - his attention was drawn once again to a new face. A face also very enlightening to him. If it had been ages since he had last heard of his other siblings, it was forever he had seen the middle one of the sister trio. "Sylvie, why is everyone wearing a mask?" A grin made it's way over Euric's face - wasn't she cute as always. He smiled at her, too, and greeted her - subconciously - with a nod.
Snap.
One more moment of carelessness, and it did it. At one moment Euric found a piercing pain in his neck while he straightened it from the nod - making him fight hard a grimace accompanied with a loud groan - then, finding out soon enough that he wasn't able to turn his head anywhere anymore. At least not without it hurting a liiittle bit too much at the back of his neck.
Oh why good gracious is this happening now..?! In the end, a grimace won it's way on his face - fortunately the mask hiding at least the upper half of it, though.
Neck 1 - Euric 0.

"From what arella said, it is huge; it seems very hard to keep track of who's who, and where. Members of my family have scattered to different parts of the globe."
Looking over at Guardinia, miyuki smiled. This girl seemed very much innocent, and miyuki hoped she would stay that way for a while. However, with the world the way it was, she knew there would be a very slim chance.
Having been introduced to two other members, miyuki curtsied to them. "Pleasure, Nia and Sylvana, how are the two of you this evening?"
She was happy they didnt ask about her family... yet... she sincerely hoped that they wouldn't.

"Good to see you here, Sylvana, hope you've had a good time."
Well, Euric seemed quite pleased with himself; Sylvana saw that smirk on his lips, the grin, then the ‘I told you so’ look, and it made her almost not want to give him the satisfaction of an answer. He had been right though, and he deserved to gloat a bit, especially considering the fuss she had put up when he’d attempted to get her here. Sylvana denied many things about herself that were, in fact, true; that she was stubborn was not one of them. Although, stubbornness tended to run in the family as most if not all her siblings seemed to have it as well. The first princess gave her younger brother another warm smile and nodded her head. “All thanks to you. I’m sorry for giving you such a hard time.” Sylvana considered placing a kiss on his cheek in gratitude, but the presense of the girl she didn’t recognize deterred her. Plus, she didn’t want to risk getting lipstick on her brother. Instead, she settled on a gentle squeeze to his arm. “Thank you.”
“Thank you, Sylvana-neesama…you look beautiful yourself.” Not even a ‘Sylvie.’ Sylvana couldn’t help the amusement that curved her lips, and she raised an eyebrow at her sister. Now, Sylvana knew that her sister could be a proper lady and a polite princess; Ayame just typically chose not to. Since she was being so well behaved now, Sylvana was led to believe that she had arranged some sort of deal with her teacher. It must be some deal to. For as much as Sylvana constantly scolded Ayame for not acting properly, seeing her doing so was actually a bit odd to say the least. Trying not to look too amused with her sister, not wanting to upset her, Sylvana softened her smile and gave Ayame a respectful nod of her head in response to Ayame’s curtsey.
The girl that Sylvana couldn’t identify dipped into a curtsey to her brother. “Prince Euric, it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope your enjoying yourself.” The wording was a bit odd, but Sylvana didn’t dwell on it. “Hello, Sylvana; another member of the family?” Sylvana turned to the girl at the sound of her name, although slightly defensive at the lack of a title. This girl was far too formal with her, especially considering the respect she’d rightly shown to Euric. Clever though, pulling her name from Ayame’s words, since she claimed to know nothing about the family. She couldn’t be military then. If nothing else, her name, Euric, and Alastair’s of course should be known by most Britannian’s and certainly all military officers. “Just how large is the family?” Interesting question. Certainly not all of the late emperor’s daughters and sons were in the public eye, but the fact that the girl had even asked was confusing to Sylvana. It certainly seemed an odd question to ask a princess. “I’ve heard from the future Empress that it is very large.” Sylvana resisted the urge to look around at that. She had yet to meet Alastair’s fiancé face to face, but she had a name and a picture. She’d requested at least that from her brother for the purpose of the wedding security. It was helpful to know who she was planning protection for.
"Ah, yes, I am - thank you. You've done quite a good work with the dishes - I hear you've prepared many of them yourself." Blue eyes glanced to Euric then back to the girl. She’d cooked some of the food? That only served to confused Sylvana more. Why would a guest cook food for a masquerade? Not even the host technically cooks the food.
Sylvana didn’t get a chance to respond to the girl which was just as well, for she was sure it would be considerably more condescending than she would prefer it to be. The commander in her had several retorts that the princess wasn’t exactly going to stop. Guardinia’s arrival prevented any such comments however. “Sylvie, why is everyone wearing a mask?"
An sweet, and slightly amused smile, curved Sylvana’s face as she turned to her sister. “It’s a masquerade, Guardinia.” Sylvana told her. “You wear masks to a masquerade. It gives the ball some mystery to it.” It also meant that you didn’t necessarily know who were you dancing with, which would work to Vana’s advantage if it weren’t for the tiara. Once it was clear she was a princess, it wasn’t hard to deduce which one.
"Ah Sylvana and Nia, I'm so happy you made it, and you both look as beautiful as ever. It feels like it’s been ages. How are the both of you? Oh, I almost forgot. This is my girlfriend Miyuki."
Girlfriend? None of it showed on her face, but Sylvana was more than a bit surprised. This girl, Miyuki, was Kuro’s girlfriend? Sylvana could hardly tell Kuro what to do with his love life considering that she was pretty hypocritical with hers, not that he would know that, but appearances mattered for the royal family, even for the fourth prince. So far Sylvana thought that Miyuki lacked some respect, which might now be explained by being the consort of a prince, and she’d cooked food for a masquerade, which actually might be more Kuro’s fault. Either way, she was a bit strange. Kuro hadn’t provided a last name for Sylvana to try and connect the girl to a family, and the first name was no more helpful than her appearance.
"From what Arella said, it is huge; it seems very hard to keep track of who's who, and where.” They had met her then, the future empress. She must be here. Sylvana again resisted the urge to look for her. She wasn’t exactly sure if she wanted to meet the woman or not, but she should. “Members of my family have scattered to different parts of the globe." That still wasn’t helpful to the first princess in identifying the girl. So many families were divided. She needed more information. “Pleasure, Nia and Sylvana, how are the two of you this evening?" There again. Twice now with no title. A frown threatened to curve the commander’s lips down, but the princess kept a smile. She reminded herself again that it could simply be from association with Kuro. It wasn’t necessarily intentional… but it could be.
It would be rude to not reply at all, and not even the commander in her wanted to do that, but Sylvana’s voice was guarded as she replied to the girl. “Just Miyuki is it? Well, I’m quite well, thank you.” Catching the look on Euric’s face out of the corner of her eye, Sylvana turned away from the girl to her brother. “Work is going to be the death of you, Euric. Are you sure you’re alright to stay?”
“Good evening. Forgive me for not remembering, but you are….?”
Sylvana turned from Euric at the sound of Ayame’s voice. Her eyes landed on the woman that Ayame was addressing. That was her. Alastair’s fiancé. The future empress. This woman, younger than Sylvana herself, would rule Britannia alongside Alastair. “Lady Arella Destiny.” Sylvana supplied the name to her sister while using it as a greeting to the young woman. She wasn’t the empress yes, but a certain amount of reverence was due to the woman anyway. Bending at the knee, not the waist, Sylvana lowered in a slight curtsey to the woman, and bowed her head forward just enough to avert her eyes for a moment. Sylvana acknowledged the woman’s importance, but rose again without bidding. She wasn’t the empress yet. “It’s a pleasure to meet you. I am Sylvana li Britannia, First Princess of Britannia. I shall also be planning security for the wedding.” Business always managed to spoil Sylvana’s fun, but with any luck there wouldn’t be too much talk of it. This would, however, be a good opportunity for Sylvana to feel out the woman. Knowing one’s charge made increased the possibility of a plan’s success.

Alastair had been on one of his "diplomatic" trips as many of the nobility, servants, and some of his family members knew it when an invitation arrived for him. The invitation was for a masquerade ball at the Capital of Pendragon. Alastair found it rather amusing that his brother had to send him an invitation; after all he was the Emperor of Britannia and there wasn't a place in Britannia he wasn't allowed to go to. But overall he enjoyed the invitation, he needed something to lift his spirits after such a stressful event. The private jet was soon to land in Pendragon in a few more minutes and he still had a lot to think about. Most recently his family continued to get in the way of his future plans and he had to constantly end up changing them after every single update Sylvana not becoming Viceroy, her continues search for Anderson she had even gotten Ayame into this whole mess. Luckily his other family members were more behaved than those two. Alastair closed his eyes and rested his head against his seat as he felt the Jet touch ground. He made his way off the jet before he remembered that he was still wearing his Emperor robes. He searched through his pocket to find the invitation to the event his younger brother had already organized and found out that it was a masquerade Esq theme. Alastair let a quick sigh slip out before he returned to his jet, he informed on of the guards to reach one of his royal tailors to fetch him something he could wear for the evening. While he waited for one of them to arrive with his new dress attire he checked the invitation for one the party was suppose to have commenced. Alastair looked at the time and than looked at it again, when he realized that he had to change the timing to fit the appropriate zone when it finally hit him. The event had started over an hour ago and he was likely to end up being the last member of the family to show up. Alastair pursed his lips together as the tailor finally arrived for him to wear his clothes. Alastair wore a white suit with a black cape draped around his shoulders and his masquerade mask. Finally fully dressed he went to enter the Ball. A few of his guards tried to follow him in but Alastair had to inst to travel into the ball alone. Once he entered the party most people were already too involved with everyone else that they really didn't bother to pay him any attention. He felt rather neglected but at the the same time relieved after all, he never had much privacy and this whole thing was suppose to be for Kuro and his girlfriend and he didn't wish to take any moment away from them. Today was there night and he hoped that his arrival would not be noticed other than by his family. He scanned the room to find anyone he could recognize immediately but the whole masquerade theme was really starting to bother him. He made his way through crowds of people ignoring anyone that tried to talk to him. After searching for twenty minutes he stooped looking for them and decided to find them the fast way. He had to assume that his Arella would be with the rest of his brothers and sisters and while this assumption was true he could easily find her. He activated his geass, and as the signal lit up the colors of emotions swirled all around him. The one that shone the brightest and waved in front of him vividly was the one for his love of Arella that connected them in a manner intangible to everyone other than himself. Alastair quickly followed the thread to where the rest of his family was. His geass took a while longer to de activate and a warm smile crossed his face. Alastair remembered that this was the first time that they were all actually meting his fiance as well. To his chagrin he did slightly steal his brother and girlfriends moment but he inadvertently did. "Sylvana you really don't have to do all that curtsy stuff were all family here and i really don't think its necessary among-st us to really do that." Alastair said. " Ayame such a lovely surprise that you would be in a dress. I really think you should consider it more often your quite the looker. Sylvana i hope your doing well." His eyes narrowed as he stared at Nia ." I trust all your affairs are in order sister. Euric, Kuro I never really see you since we use to play games in the Britannian garden when we were little, i miss those times." His eyes than focused on the girl that stood besides Kuro. "And you must be the reason the whole family is gather here tonight, Miyuki if I'm not mistaken, its a pleasure to meet with you tonight." He reached out his hand to hold Arellas and stared into her eyes. "And you look even more breat taking tonight." He than whispered low enough for only Arella to here. " I'm glad i found you."

A grand ball that will be one of the many banquets to be remembered due to it's significance. The significance of being one of those few rare balls that most royalty attend. Shame Anderson isn't royalty, but regardless, he is invited due to his position as 'Royal Doctor' to the Emperor Alastair and there is no way in Hell he'll miss this. In this instance, he took the guise of an anonymous Royal Prince by the name of Clovis du Britannia II, named after the Clovis beforehand that has been slain by Zero a century before. Quite iconic name really. Queue Anderson appearing to the front gates, emerging from the limousine and on to the ball. "Hear ye, hear ye. His Highness, Prince Clovis du Britannia II, the 51st successor to the throne, and his attendant, Eve Neusch von Stein have graced us with their presence to join the ball." The announcer announced to the entire crowd within the royal ball, with Anderson accompanied by his 'date', the famous model; Eve. His mask basically concealing his identity, the ruffled hair differentiating from his usual slicked back appearance also making him seem different, and by his belt he carries his saber. One thing remained that made him recognizable was his Azure eyes, but it was a common enough trait in Britannia to have blue eyes, just not bright ones like his. For now, it is safe to assume he won't be recognized. "Do enjoy yourself here, darling." The doctor said in his fatherly attitude to Eve, "This party is meant to entertain and cool off stress, hopefully it'll fulfill it's purpose." Upon saying those words, he kindly lets go of Eve once attention was off of them, once they were absorbed into the flurry of guests that so seemed to surround the area. The entire royal family was here it seems, albeit save for a few that might not be able to join up. The reason for it perhaps? From what he has heard, Prince Kuro, the young Royal member has gotten himself a new mistress, and this party is to celebrate it. Not something big really, given that the royalty find themselves mistresses and concubines often, although she was the noble kind. The one that had money, as such, perhaps it was to celebrate the possible ascendency of the noble family into being linked with the royal family. Maybe... Either ways, Anderson is here to enjoy the party fully, he has taken the identity of a non-existent Prince, or more specifically, those 'Exiled' Princes whom don't exist in the data record so to play it safe. As far as he knows it, Clovis II was murdered years ago by a group of bandits whilst in his exile, and was later excused from the exile upon his death, not that the deceased part of him was well known. Only to a few gifted individuals such as Doctor Anderson that they know. Making it quite a useful identity. To most of the royal family, those with 'Du' in the middle are regarded as the farthest of the family line, as they are seen as cousins than anything else. Namely to all prominent family members present in the area. Best part about the identity; Clovis II should be known as someone quite fond of the alcoholic beverages, in this party, many a Chinese and Japanese alcohol exist. Going from Sake to Raksi. It was a big delight that these options of drinks were available to him... alas, much to his chagrin, he cannot eat with the way his mask is made. Abstaining from alcohol for now wears a heavy toll over his heart, loathing the way his mask was made, deciding if he can't have alcohol, why not display his skills in dancing? In a sense, he takes pride in it just as much as fencing and holding a drink. Question is, amongst the crowd, who'd he dance with? There were many royalty within this ball. Many to choose from, yet a long time he had. Then he bumped into someone hard whom he should stay away from... far, far away; Sylvana. "Sorry 'bout that, I didn't mean to--" Lines cuts off, his azure eyes catching glimpse of her, it was obvious, even when covered by a mask, her bottom part of her face reveals it all, he recognizes her... hopefully the same doesn't happen with him as the process of vice-versa goes through. Great tidings was that his 'Brother' was there, so perhaps he could bail him out were he to recognize him as Anderson, although at the moment, he kept his stature and his silence, giving way for the Princess to respond to the apology.

Miyuki curtsied before the emperor. "Good evening emperor; I have been anxious to meet kuro's family, and I am happy to finally meet everyone- well, most." She smiled as she said the last part.
Leaning forward slightly, miyuki whispered to kuro, "Would you like to continue to mingle, or shall we dance? You did promise to let me see the knightmares as well."
Although a few of the members seemed to take interest in her, she did have a feeling that not all saw her in the same light; in fact it seemed as if one had taken careful measures to act like she wasn't noticed right away. Of course, she was only a warrant officer, and a noble, so she didn't expect to be welcomed with open arms; however, it still hurt a bit to not be recognized.

water. That was the first thought that came to Arella's mind as she had stumbled upon the table. The woman looked down at the drinks in front of her, just staring for a while. She hadn't realised how parched she was until she had arrived to the table. Her hands reached out to pour herself a drink but she suddenly paused as a thought ran through her head and glanced back. The maid was somewhat freaking her out, disappearing and appearing again, she didn't want the maid to appear again when she was drinking and planning to not greet the royalty for the night. Maybe she should hide until Alastair had arrived, if he arrives. Arella had been here for around a week and had noticed that Alastair was a busy man. What else was she thinking? Was there such thing as a emperor that wasn't lazy? She didn't think so. After pouring her drink, she looked at the glass as she was about take in all of it at once, it wasn't lady like, but it would get her to feel great. She had always loved that feeling to drink a whole lot of water when she is parched. It was like this little addiction, just like those drugged people feel when they get their drugs. Well, that's what Arella had always took in. But, no her plan failed, just before she could pour the drink down her mouth she was stopped. Her eyes narrowed toward the voice that approached her. It wasn't a child's voice but it wasn't those big women's voice either, it was rather a teenager's voice. Arella paused for a while as the girl finished her question, she blinked, staring at her. The only thing that ran through her head was "oh my, one of the royalty is talking to me,". Arella had better times to meet Alastair's family, it could have been when she was painting, when she was walking, or even when she was dissing the prince's girlfriend's what's-her-name dress. But not when she was trying to gulp in a whole glass of drink like she hadn't drunk for days. No...that just wasn't right. Arella, being the woman she is, didn't give up on her drink and poured it down her parched throat. It had made her felt much better, of course, the girl may have saw something she thought was a bit 'not-royalty-like' but Arella wasn't born royal. She would understand...right? After she had finished that drink, she turned to the girl. The question that she gave was kind of hard of answer, Arella couldn't find the right words that would fit into a full sentence for her. Luckily her question was answered for her, by a woman who had came up behind the girl. She was a woman about Arella's age, maybe a bit older. Arella bowed back at the woman, she had kind of figured out that was what she was supposed to do and did it take her long to figure that out? Well, yes. "It's my pleasure to meet you Sylvana li Britannia, First Princess of Britannia" Arella said, finally getting to her senses. Her plans had all failed, yea, the hiding before Alastair arrived was a big failure. Of course Arella was surprised that one of the royalties knew who and what Arella was and how she looked like, she had thought no one knew yet. But, at least she didn't have to introduce herself or that would have failed too. "ah, the security..." Arella paused for awhile, not really knowing what to say. Well, she would go something like "wow, a princess running the security program. I feel safe already" but she didn't go to that. There were wins and loses in fights like this, with all these people around, Arella would win a big lose if she tried to be her sarcastic self. And plus, she was going to be a good girl from now on...why do she keep forgetting that? "I wish you good luck on that" she ended, with a smile, small and weak but yet it was a smile and smiles can save the day. She turned back to the other girl, the younger one who had asked who she was. "It's also a pleasure to meet you.." once again a pause came through, who was she? Arella was definitely clueless on who this teen was. "princess..." she ended, she had got to stop going through these stupid pauses. But thankfully the pauses always brought her to a save base before running again. But, finally her eyes widen with happiness as she had heard a voice, which she was kind of hoping to hear for a really long time. She was basically hoping to heard when the ball had started, or even before it had started. She turned to Alastair, of course the man in mask but it was pretty noticeable who he was now that he had spoken...wasn't it? Arella stared back at Alastair when he had commented her dress. He must be kidding, she had a hell of a pink ugly dress and yet he said it was breathe taking. Maybe he was making her feel better, she had stopped at that guess. "You are kidding right?" she asked with a joker's voice, "I think I have the ugliest dress in this ballroom" then she stared back at Miyuki's then back at her own then finally she went back to Alastair. "Make that, the 2nd ugliest dress in this room" she rephrased. Surely, it was a bit loud, not really a whisper, something everyone around her could hear but it was supposed to come out as a whisper. It just didn't come out right. But of course she was gladly able to make the next sentence a whisper, "I am glad you came. I feel like an alien..and yes the dress is a part of the whole plot that's making me feel like an alien" She wasn't sure she knew the others yet, the only person she knew was Sylvana, but Arella guessed she will be learning their names soon enough. She had already learned their faces, well, not really, their entire faces as everyone had a mask on but at least some what of what they seem to look like. And the girl without the mask was easy to remember too, basically because she wasn't wearing a mask. [/ul]

(ooc: since no one else is going to post)
Miyuki's eyes shifted to where arella was; she heard the comment about her dress, and that was the final straw.
"Come on kuro, I would like to see the knightmares for a while." She said, setting the glass on the table. She moved her arm, for her hand to take his, and led him away. "The air is starting to become stuffy." Of course, she meant something else, but that was her polite way of saying it.
She honestly didn't care if anyone tried to stop them from leaving, she really wasn't in the mood to say. It was one thing to have her dress be made fun of- whether that was the actual intent or not- but to have another, audible comment, she had enough; and that wasn't the only reason she wanted to leave for a while.

I am glad to have someone like father. If it wasn't for his creative thinking, we would have never been able to set foot into this ball.Eve allowed her father to escort her into the hall where the royal Masquerade Ball was taking place. She was thankful to have someone like him in her life from a day to day basis. Much to her displeasure though, she allowed herself to be separated from her father in order to mingle and hopefully accidentally over hear information that would be valuable to them. Wondering around the floor a bit, Eve looked for something interesting to entertain herself with. She quickly spotted the Emperor as she had seen him meet with father several times before. Eve assumed the rest of the people he was chatting with were the immediate members of his family, those whom usually resided in the palace walls. Out of all of them, the only one she recognized was Sylvana Li Britannia. The other man standing beside her looked familiar to Eve, but she couldn't quite place him. What little parts of his face that shown under the mask intrigued her. He's..... handsome.... Eve could feel a slight blush creep up on her face, but she forced her mind to think of other things. Father wouldn't like it if he found out she had been distracted from her objective by a man. Looking back to the Emperor once more, she was lucky enough to catch a nasty glare sent to one of the shortest girls. Long platinum blond hair and a purple veil was all Eve could see from her angle, but it was enough. This girl had caused the Emperor displeasure, which could only mean one thing, she was guilty about something and it was eating away at her. "I appear to have found Hebe a new play mate. This will be interesting," she whispered to quietly to herself so that no one nearby would hear. Eve turned her attention to find some food, but was quickly brought back to the large group of people she had been eavesdropping on before hand. Her bright purple eyes fell upon the man once more. It was driving her crazy! Why did she recognize him and where had she seen him before. There was only one way to figure it out. With all the confidence earned from being a famous model, Eve gracefully strutted over to the man next to Sylvana Li Britannia. Taking a deep breath, she intended to politely ask him for a dance, but that's not how it came out. "Dance with me!" Eve shouted while looking at the floor. Realizing quickly what she had just said she tried to amend her previous order. "That is, what I meant to say was," She looked up into the man's face and through his mask she spotted his deep dark brown eyes. She could feel the gaze of several people and her face turned from a slight blush to a deep red from embarrassment. "Excuse me," she mumbled inaudibly as she quickly bowed and then turned and ran off to an empty corridor to gather herself. "Stupid! Stupid! I'm so stupid!" Eve hit her forehead a few times for extra emphasis. "If father saw me straying from my objective he would not be pleased. Focus here Eve, you've only got one shot at this."Eve looked back to the now slightly perturbed group of people. She then saw her father clumsily bump into the tallest of the blond trio of girls. He appeared to be slightly panicky from Eve's vantage point. She was unsure why the first Princess had made her father feel uneasy by a mere encounter, but whatever it was, Eve hoped that father wasn't recognized. If anyone discovered that he wasn't really Clovis the second, he would be in some serious trouble. Eve continued to watch the scene unfold hidden in the corridor, oblivious to anything and everything around her. Something that a spy should never let happen. Something that Eve had never let happen... Until now.
