Code Name:
Britannian Official Name: Gladstone Prototype 3C
IroConArms Registry: Seneca C2
Rajastan Technologies Project Name: Yojimbo Type 2
Basic Frame: Custom type, built on a fusion between the Indian-manufactured Akatsuki and the Vincent.
Suggested Price: 3,000 for Regular, 4,000 for Winter Combat and 3,500 for ICCA standard Police?
Manufacturer: Designed originally by the UFN's Rajastan Technologies in preparation for the invasion of mainland Britannia, but shelved after the death of Emperor Lelouch I. Leaked to the Chinese federation's Li Tziling/Kayeri Brant and then bought by Iroquois Confederation Arms and refined for mass production for the Britannian Army and the Iroquois Security Forces. Britannian components, primarily from the vincent and Vincent ward models were incorporated. Overall, the Knightmare is weaker than the gareth, but far cheaper.
Operator: Britannian Military, Iroquois Security Forces
Accommodation: One pilot.
Equipment and Design Features
(Most of these Parts i'm registering now. See below to see descriptions)
Regular Gladstone: (used by the Britannian military) 1x Bayonet Sword, 1x Free Fire Arm Gun (Gladstone was built on Indian/UFN designs and thus has this feature), 2x Slash Harken
ICCA Security Forces Type: (Used by the ICCA's own security forces) 1x Free Fire Arm Gun, 1x Armor Cloak, 2x Tomahawk
Britannian Winter Forces: (Used in Area 2, present-day Alaska and Canada) 1x Mimetic Armor Cloak, 1x Knightmare Sniper Rifle, 1x Machine Pistol, 1x Bayonet Sword.
Description:
Due to its original basis being Rajastan Technologies' Gekka and Akatsuki models, the Gladstone resembles the Akatsuki in its relatively armored chest and head, in addition using technology intended for the Akatsuki. However, the ICCA's modifications and various fusions with the Vincent makes it markedly different from its ancestor, the Akatsuki. Its cockpit was built to Britannian specifications, and, like the Vincent, the Gladstone is more nimble than the Akatsuki. Weapons-wise, the Gladstone's primary weapons are mostly internalized.
Parts
(Obviously not Optimus, but the sword)
Code Name: IroConArms Bayonet Sword
Manufacturer: The Iroquois Confederacy, based on blueprints made by Rajastan Technologies that were acquired in the corporate takeover specifically for the Gladstone
Part Type: Sidearm, Melee type
Construction Type: Physical, but with small energy components.
Equipment and Design FeaturesHas a Katen Yaibatou cutting edge, built to shear through Knightmares. Shorter than the Zangetsu's Katen Yaibatou and thinner, but thicker and longer than the traditional MP model Akatsuki's Katen Yaibatou. Gauntlet is reinforced to allow the user to block (similar to the Burai). Main advantage is that it need not be carried and is stowed inside the arm, and thus is mobile and easy to use. Lengths can Vary--Winter Model Gladstones use relatively short knives.
Development RP: Based on the "Pata", an Indian weapon used by the Rajputs of Rajastan, the Bayonet Arm was developed as a hidden, internalized weapon that could be quickly drawn or deployed in a fight. At a time when the Akatsuki was under development, this weapon was originally intended for the Akatsuki (and indeed the Katen Yaibatou used by the Four Holy Swords' Akatsuki have a similar design), but was shelved after the end of the war between Britannia and the UFN. When Rajastan Technologies was acquired in a corporate takeover by Iroquois Confederacy Arms Co., blueprints were obtained and integrated as planned into the Seneca knightmare frame, later to become the Gladstone Prototype.
Code Name: Armor Cape
Manufacturer: Camelot Imperial Technologies
Part Type: Shields
Construction Type: Physical
Equipment and Design Features
A very simple invention, the Armor Cape was designed by Britannian for the Gloucester, though at that time production capacities prevented the armor cape from being approved. Built of interlocking panels, the armor cape's panels fragment when hit, dispersing the force evenly and so blocking even an armor-piercing weapon. The problem is that, in shattering, the cape loses much of its defenses if hit a second time on the same spot and needs to be constantly replaced. Used only by a few European private contractors and a few Britannian private companies.
A more versatile design, created by both Britannia's Iroquois Confederacy Arms and Europe's Krupp Panzer Works, is that of a camouflage cloak with mimetic abilities that can block out heat and radioactive signatures from a knightmare and allowing a Knightmare to be concealed. However, in mass production models, this cloak can be seen through if someone is actively searching. Deployed by Britannian Knightmares in Area 2 and in Area 11's Hokkaido.
Development RP: Developed at the same time as Gloucester.
Knightmare Sniper Rifle
Code Name: IroConArms Recoilless Rifle
Manufacturer: Iroquois Confederacy Arms Co., for the Area 2 Britannian Forces.
Part Type: Rifle
Construction Type: Physical.
Equipment and Design Features
A Knightmare rifle with sensory equipment, a much longer range and accuracy but also a far lower rate of fire. The Knightmare Rifle is essentially a giant railgun and, as such, emits a far smaller flash than a regular rifle. It also has a lower recoil and more piercing power. As a whole, though, its size makes it unwieldy, and its firing rate is slow due to the time required to build up power.
Development RP: Originally built for the Canadian Imperial Winter Army, the Knightmare Sniper Rifle was ruled out due to its high cost and unwieldiness. It was built for Knightmares armed with the Mimetic Armor Cloak mentioned above, allowing a knightmare to hide in the snow and take out opponents from out of nowhere, sowing confusion. As such, it was built to emit a much lower flash (to make it hard to trace the bullet's source) and to be accurate far greater than any regular assault rifle.
Code Name: Tomahawk
Manufacturer: IroConArms
Part Type: Throwing/melee weapon
Construction Type: Physical
Equipment and Design Features
A simple Tomahawk, a traditional weapon that can be thrown or used as a melee weapon. Generally attached via a Slash Harken Cable to the arm.
Development RP: A traditional Iroquois weapon, most Iroquois versions of Britannian Knightmares use these instead of Slash Harkens as a symbol of traditional Iroquois Culture. Not much different from a slash Harken, having the ability to hook with the jagged edge anyhow. It can, though, be used as a melee weapon.
