Jojo was having a blast as she was looking about the outer wall of the jet. She loved the pull of gravity against her own self as they lifted from the ground as she laughed when he had canceled out the patrol guard's yammering. Jojo laughed a series of times when Kristoph performed the flips and stunts in the air for a many different times as she exilerantly said, "No worries about me vomiting in here. It looks like I am use to this kind of stuff."
And then once they were upside down it was a total bliss of liking. She looked down at the ground and smiled as she looked around the ground area as she looked about the ground and smiled as she saw the ground exileratingly low and perfect as they would soon go back to level atmosphere. She enjoyed this kind of thing as she pressed a few buttons to adjust tempature control to level out the heat of two people giving off as she was having her fun.
"This is so much fun. I like it though I'd like to teach you about piloting a knightmare some time. I won't doubt that this is your way of being at home. The air is much likelly a better home then the battle fields but for me it is one the battle field inside my own knightmare. So long as we agree to disagree then we are happy to have that." Compromise is always the best awnser to use.

Kristoph made a noncommittal grumble at Stenton's suggestion. "I'm up for riding shotgun, I guess, but don't let me get near the controls." He pulled the flight stick towards himself. The Mistral's nose pulled towards the ground. He let the jet hurtle ground-ward for a moment before pulling out of the dive. "I even managed to damage the simulator back in Boot. They called me the Nightmare of the Knightmares." He turned back to the Settlement.
He cracked his neck – not an easy maneuver in a flight helmet. "Now's when things get interesting." The city's skyline was a challenging flight at best – a fatal crash that would cost hundreds of millions in damages at worst. "Lucky for us, I'm damn good at what I do," he said with confidence bordering on arrogance. The skyscrapers were coming closer by the second as the Mistral devoured the distance.
Kristoph felt his adrenaline kick in. The world simultaneously slowed to a crawl and sped past at a blistering pace, allowing Kristoph to fly between and around the buildings. Steel, glass, and concrete whipped past the canopy as he swept through the city. The dance was over as fast as it began, though, as the Mistral's speed brought it out of the city like a shot. He took the jet out over the ocean, enjoying the still-present adrenaline high. The high perished quickly when an icon in his HUD started blinking, informing him of an incoming communication. "Shit. Looks like ATC got their act together quicker than I thought they would."

Jojo laughed at Kristoph's statement of destroying the simulater as she smiled under her helmet, "Don't worry, If you want I'll teach you. You already are a pilot so most of the things you need not relearn but what things you don't know should be simple to teach." Jojo said the offer kindly as she then saw the buildings flying by as she was enjoying it to the best esteem of the arrival.
"ATC? What'll they be doing? It seems that you have a comm link also." Jojo noted it as she would type in some controls and buttons as she would then type in the comm unit up on the display, "Patching ATC in for you Kris. Hopefully you've got game face." Jojo snickered at her little joke not knowing mutch about ATC other than it might be a control group but she did not know since she normally never flew around.

"Gee, thanks, Stenton," Kristoph grumbled unhappily. He knew, just knew, that the Air Traffic Control personnel were going to throw a fit. Static fuzzed over the radio. "Air Traffic Control, this is Aeon. Go ahead."
"What in the hell do you think you're doing, you crazy bastard?!"[/i] shouted the voice on the other end. "Downtown is a no-fly zone!"[/i]
Kristoph heaved a sigh. Rank may have had its privileges, but he wasn't sure he would be able to get away with this one. "Roger that, Air Traffic Control. Returning to base." He turned the radio back off. He turned the Mistral back toward the base. A trio of fighters assembled around him as he flew, escorting him back. "This must be my punishment for that poor bastard I threw out of the airship," he lamented without any conviction. He would never regret that action. "Word of advice, Stenton? Karma's a bitch - don't piss it off."
He brought the Mistral down for a landing and taxied it back into position in the hangar. The escort fighters landed shortly afterward. Kristoph thumbed the canopy back open and climbed out. "Go get changed. If anyone but the Knight of One asks you any questions, tell them it was my fault," he told Stenton as he made his way to the locker room. "On second thought, even if he asks, I ordered you to ride with me." Freddy would likely see through the lie, but hopefully he would understand that the whole thing was Kristoph's idea.

Jojo laughed on the inside as the Air control peoples were yelling. She had of course sent in a short clipping of a remark in morse code saying things that would have her reprimanded but in other words she had used an untracable signal while Kristoph was speaking. Jojo was talanted with this kind of thing as she took pride in snearing away the respect of the unrespectful. She would merely nod as if she understood Kristoph's speach.
Once landed she would go off into the dressing room where a pilot seemed to want a ruckus with Jojo and even then she knew this was a new trainee who saw as Jojo was training that Jojo was a frame pilot and not a jet pilot and this seemed to cause this trainee trouble as the trainee would try to fist fight her way at Jojo. Jojo sadly had to return fire by breaking the trainee's arm and two ribs with a couple of kicks.
"I am Junior officer Stenton recruit. Do that again I will break more of you than this time." She would use this authority against this recruit and felt bad as she changed into her uniform as she left the dressing hall and told a nearby medic, "Go into that dressing hall and please look over your new trainee." Jojo would then meet back up with Kristoph as she said, "Kris? Is it normal for frame jockies to be jumped by pilots?"

Kristoph came out of the locker room, expecting to find an armed escort waiting to hustle him off to the base commander’s office. He blinked in confusion when he was greeted instead with a recruit being wheeled away on a gurney. He shook his head at Jojo’s question and carefully responded, “no, Stenton, it’s not normal. Well, outside of pubs, anyway. Devicers and us flyboys – and flygirls,” he added hastily after receiving a particularly venomous look from a nearby female pilot. No doubt they all saw him as a traitor now and he would have a hell of a time getting that view turned around. “Anyway, your kind and ours don’t generally mix well.”
“Now what say we get the hell out- ” his plan of escape was cut off, however, by the arrival of several armed men.
“Kristoph Vashti, you and your accomplice are to come with us,” said the leader in an official tone. Kristoph took an instant disliking to the man.
“Yeah, yeah. Took you lazy bastards long enough,” he responded with a fair deal of humor in his voice. He just couldn’t resist the urge to insult them. “Lead the way. My accomplice and I will behave ourselves.” The man’s scowl deepened and his two companions took up position behind Kristoph and Jojo. He turned and started walking and Kristoph, true to his word, followed.

Jojo was in hysterical laughter until the convoy of troops surrounded them. Jojo didn't have her average rapier with her as she looked at the guys around the two of them. "Curious as to what this is about yet I already know." Before she started moving she looked at the main leading man who seemed to be in charge as she noted all aspects of his charector and his uniform indefinitly.
"You must be a senior officer as well as a failed cadet in your past. Judging by the way your uniform has a set of mismatched threads shows that you had once been demoted and then decided to finally work at your job to get this high. And if that is not enough to interest me of your history then this as well will. You have a faded tan mark in your left ring finger telling you were once... Wait, twice married but yet had a hasty divorce."
She was on a roll as she saw this man's face redden like a tomatoe before following them as she smiled to herself noting the way he walked was a tad to much girly, more girly than her own even, so she decided to say something of it, "And to be off the record you look like you had a rod shoved up your *ss last night or within the past three hours and just now decided to walk." Jojo had her fun as her face went back into the record serious mode following behind them.

Frederick wiped beads of sweat from his brow. He had spent the better part of the morning helping a lovely young couple move into their new apartment. He had seen the husband and wife trying to move a couch off of a rented moving truck and immediately insisted that the lady let him take her place. ”Manual labor,” he had said, ”is not for someone as fair as you, and I’m sure your husband agrees.” The man had nodded his assent, and after a satisfying few hours of helping the couple get settled in and getting acquainted with them, he was now sitting and enjoying the couple’s hospitality, sharing with them a customary post-move-in pizza, which he was enjoying quite a bit. Suddenly, his data-pad began to ring, letting him know he had a message.
“Please excuse me just a moment,” he said to the couple, standing from the couch and walking to a nearby window. He thumbed open the message and saw the sender was Kristoph. Reading the body of the quickly sent message, he began shaking his head. I should’ve known he couldn’t keep himself out of trouble for an entire morning.
“I’m truly sorry for this, but I should be going. My friend is about to do something terribly foolish and I need to be there to bail him out,” he explained to the couple. ”Well, if that’s the case, then we won’t stop you.” the husband said, standing and shaking Frederick’s hand. ”Sounds like this friend is quite the handful, isn’t he?” ”Yes, he is,” the knight admitted, heading for the door. ”But he’s also bailed me out more times than I can count.” he said, exiting the apartment with a smile and a light laugh.
Outside the apartment building, Frederick made a beeline for the base. The message had said that he and the junior officer he was to meet were going to take a plane out. That wouldn’t have been a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that this area was currently a No-Fly Zone for unauthorized military planes. Frederick knew Kristoph knew that just as well as he did. He also knew that Kristoph wasn't likely to care once he had the idea of flying in his head. On the way back, a jet, a Mistral, he believed, flew at breakneck speeds just overhead through the skyscrapers. He knew the moment he saw the plane that it was his squire. Shaking his head again, he began to jog toward the base, now not too far away. Upon getting to the gate he saw the Mistral overhead once more, this time moving much slower and with other jets in escort formation around it.
Once inside the base proper, he headed towards the base commander’s office, suspecting he’d find his protégé and his accomplice inside. Moving down the base corridors he heard what sounded like someone offering an opinion on an officer’s speculated sexual habits. Fearing the worst, and the obvious, he rounded the corner and found Kristoph and Stenton being escorted down the hall by several armed MPs.
Frederick cradled his face in his hand for a moment in silent frustration before straightening himself and marching towards the officers. ”That’s far enough. I’ll be taking these two into my care.” ”I don’t think so…” the lead officer stopped his retinue and started turning toward Frederick. Upon seeing who he was addressing he suddenly stood straighter and snapped a salute. ”Sir! These two were requested by the base commander for debriefing involving an unauthorized aircraft launch.” Frederick smiled at the MP. ”I authorized it. Sorry it didn’t make its way to your ATC just yet, you know how long it can take orders to trickle down sometimes. I needed Kristoph to break in the junior officer here.” He gestured to Stenton. ”Let the base commander know that if he has any questions, I’ll be happy to debrief him myself on the operation later. We had a very good reason for that run going through the skyscrapers so quickly.” He added the last bit while shooting Kristoph a look that could only be construed as Or at least we damn well better have. With that he left the MPs, gesturing for the two now freed criminals to follow.

Kristoph was all too happy to follow behind the Knight and escape the punishment that, even he had to admit, he deserved at least a little bit. Violating the airspace above a No-Fly Zone was an offense that typically carried stiff penalties even in peacetime. He didn't want to imagine what could have happened now that the whole empire was on heightened alert. As soon as they were out of earshot of the MPs, he spoke up. "Thanks for the save, buddy. Seriously, I thought we were in deep shit there for a sec."
He sped up a bit so that he was walking next to his friend. "Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but what took you so long?" He looked at Freddy. "Wait, don't tell me. Let me guess: you were helping an old lady across the street? Getting a kitten out of a tree? Saving orphans from a burning building?" His tone indicated a great deal of distaste for all of these acts.
Kristoph was often described as ruthless - heartless if the person describing him was feeling poetic. He disdained doing much of anything that didn't further his interests under even the best of circumstances. Freddy's inclination to helping anyone at any time for any reason just didn't make sense in his mind. He looked over his shoulder at Stenton. "And just so we're clear, I am the only one allowed to talk to him like this. Benefits of being childhood friends and all," he said before shifting his attention back to Freddy.

Jojo listened to the Knight's squire Kristoph as she nodded her head though her intentions were meant to be to her good if she did something and only be upon those. She listened to the small argument between the Knight of One and the MP's as she was then noted by the Knight of One in his small discussion with his squire, "Excuse me but... break me in sir? I have many missions, medals, and even eradicated sector XX (XX for story purposes). I mean not to be rude but would that not mean I am already broken into military rule?" She very well was for militarism and to her she served the knights more than the ambassadors and the emperor though she had met the emperor once when he had been in the sector of her eradication when ordered to destroy all inhabitants that could fight, leaving only woman, grandparents, and children to live while also the disabling the father's.
She though knew very well that this was the knight of one and someone she aspired to one day be closer to rank herself hoping to become a knight herself. She wants to become a knight very badly and this is why she came to this place but then also needed to ask now after her rant, "I have a question as to why I was transfered here. After my latest mission I was told to come here under sector 2 confidentiality status."
(OOC: sorry I have been gone for so long. I am coming back from surgery and hope you all can put up with some more as I rebound back.)

”There was a young lady in distress. I had to render assistance.” it was not a total lie. Frederick scratched the back of his head. He knew that he was technically in the wrong by making Christoph and Stenton wait, but at the same time, how could he honestly have let that young lady continue laboring like a common worker? He knew women were allowed to get out and work and make their own living, and many of them were capable of doing manual work quite well, but that didn’t mean that they had to do it. ”Also, what in the world were you thinking, pulling this stunt? Even I can only get you out of so much trouble. And dragging the new girl along? You never cease to make things interesting for me.”
After getting a decent distance away from where he had “saved” them from the MPs, Frederick came to a stop and turned to Stenton. “So, I requested someone to render some long range support for my forces. I would suppose that’s you.”

Kristoph shook his head at Freddie's reasoning as well as Jojo's questions. "You're both idiots," he lamented. He looked over his shoulder at Stenton. "You, because him saying that I was 'breaking you in' was a cover up. We just broke who knows how many laws and regulations. We should be in front of a firing squad right about now. We're not because the great and honorable Knight of One came to our aid and told a little fib." He shifted his attention back to his friend.
"You already know why you're an idiot. Can we just skip the argument and get right to the part where we start drinking?" As far as Kristoph understood it, Freddie wanted to be normal more than anything else. He helped people to establish an illusion of normalcy. It wasn't something that Kristoph understood - more often than not, he endeavored to destroy the illusion, actually - and they had been in multiple heated arguments on the subject. "Anyway, I was bored." he said, finally answering Freddie's question. "You know what happens when I run out of entertainment. Besides, it's not like I crashed or got anyone killed. Hell, even Frame-Jockey here enjoyed it." He pointed to Stenton with his thumb. "Tell you what: next time my brains start dribbling out of my ears due to boredom, I'll look into more rules-friendly entertainment like blowing stuff up or setting animal shelters on fire."

Jojo smiled as she looked at this guy and then smiled some more, "No need to be so serious Apprentice of One." Jojo would then acknowledge the Knight of One's comment as she smiled at this, "Yes, I am the long range specialist Stenton. Hope you do not mind but if you have other's that would be apart of the long range platoon then I would like to see their abilities with a sniper then with a Knightmare Sniper. I need to test their possibilities." Jojo didn't want to sound odd but she needed to test the defenders of this the best she could. Jojo smiled as she watched the expression of Kristoph form a lot of different ways.
Jojo then looked to see the Knight of One once more and said, "By the way I have a question that maybe only you can answer," she readied the question and then asked, "My coming here is a confidential. I was hoping you'd tell me why it is that way?" Jojo smiled as she would then look at Kristoph and then the Knight of One and waited for his answer if he had one to her confidential reason of coming to Japan.
