Eve smirked inwardly as she thought, That's right, keep your curiosity to me peaked. It's only a matter of time now before he requests my company for something. She glance momentarily at the prince and became slightly confused as his expression changed from confused and curious to realization and what appeared to be scheming. When he made a movement to leave and spoke of keeping his distance, the model panicked. What?! No! His curiosity towards me has completely vanished! He knows what I'm up to! I'll have to change my approach and strategy and fast! For the sake of my father, I will not botch this mission!
Strategies and plans swarmed her mind, and yet, she couldn't think of anything that would work at this point. His expression reflected for a brief moment that he knew or at least suspected what she was up to. This prince was rather difficult to read or predict. Just when you think you have him cornered, he figures out everything and surprises you entirely. No, the spy would not be defeated not so easily anyway. An idea popped into her mind that would most likely work, but she knew she probably couldn't bring herself to do it.
Eve had only seconds to act before her mission would fail entirely. Taking a deep breath she called out to Euric. "Euric wait!" Her legs numbly carried her over toward the prince and stopped when she stood in front of him. Her gaze met the prince's before she spoke again. "It's not that I don't want your company. I read in a magazine that you preferred people with that type of personality. This job is rather lonely and I've never met a subject as unique and as interesting as you. The truth is!"
Eve stopped herself as a deep blush no doubt appeared on her face. Could she do it? Could she tell him something she had never said to anyone else? Sure she liked the prince, but she wasn't sure if her feelings ran that deep for him at this point. No, this was one thing she would never say unless it was truly how she felt deep down. Besides, she had already lied to the prince enough.
Looking down she continued to speak. "The truth is... I would like to work under you." If she couldn't get him to willing spend free time with her, she would just have to get closer to him by working directly for him.

Hearing her calling after him the prince halted, and it wasn't for too long after she stood there again, right in front of him. For the most part Euric managed to keep a neutral expression, but still he couldn't help a slight smile soon to curve the corner of his mouth. So, he had been right about her just acting - though why had she done it, he could still but guess. But now, she at least felt much more genuine. Giving out her explanation, even somehow cute. "It's not that I don't want your company. I read in a magazine that you preferred people with that type of personality." Euric made a slightly wondering glance at her, though as soon as the thought had crossed his mind his face returned to his former expression. Why would she... ah, well. Spies - perhaps she could've thought it was somehow useful as a reference for her mission. Hm... "Well, I can assure you that where ever you read that, they'd better check their sources for claiming such a thing-" "This job is rather lonely and I've never met a subject as unique and as interesting as you. The truth is!" My, now. The truth, about..? Well, whatever she was going to say, she did now appear to be completely serious about it, at least he couldn't read anything else from her that was for sure, which meant that Euric would take it as seriously. The prince lifted his eyebrows, now looking firmly again at the model, his smile fading subconsciously as he waited for her to finish.
"The truth is... I would like to work under you." Well, it was something he hadn't exactly expected. But there she was, face cast down and waiting, and Euric could not tell any signs of deceit off of her. For a moment he stood there, a thoughtful look on his face, considering for his answer. But in the end, the smile returned back to his face, and leaning a bit forward he made a gesture to lift her eyes back to meet his. "You must of course know that I can't answer to such a request right away - especially not when I still haven't even confirmed your actual standing. Don't take it as an offence - I'm not really suspecting you to lie - but as I told you before, it's just something I'll have to do nonetheless. Call it routine, okay?" He straightened himself, stretching his neck again a bit before he spoke. "And either way - such matters should not probably be discussed here in the open, let alone in the middle of a nightly amusement park, don't you think?" Giving a glance at their surroundings, he then offered his arm to her - well, somewhat subconsciously anyway - in intention of leading her out of the park. "Perhaps you wouldn't mind to join me for a cup of tea, so we might perhaps discuss it a bit further..? Or at least, allow me not to see you freeze in this breeze, really now." He didn't yet unfold the coat, but looked at her in wait of an answer. Third time tells...what, eh?

Eve looked up at the prince as he answered her request. She understood the reasons as to why the prince was being so cautious. It was to be expected. She only hoped her father would work his magic on the emperor and be able to make her story hold true.
"You're right," the model responded while nodding her head. "It would be ill-advised to hold any conversation regarding any type of work out in the open where someone could easily listen in."
A cup of tea? If it had been this easy to get closer to the prince, she would have asked to work under him the previous day. Well, Eve wasn't very found of tea, but she did enjoy a good parfait. There he went again about her freezing. It was a bit breezy, but she certainly wouldn't freeze. She had done missions in far worse weather. The thought was still very sweet though. The model soon realized he had offered his arm to her somewhat subtly.
Smiling happily at his offer, she accepted his extended arm and answered his offer. "Well, I'm not very fond of tea, but I'm definitely okay with a parfait." With this date, she would be one step closer to getting close enough to the prince in order to extract information from him later on.

Well, I'm not very fond of tea, but I'm definitely okay with a parfait." Her having accepted his arm, he smiled down at her as at the same time began to slowly walk towards the exit of the park area, escorting her along. "Ah, well, that's as fine - let's see if we can find you one at this hour. I can't promise you the kitchen staff can be bothered at this hour, but we can try." ...or, I'd rather not to, if their hours have already ended... That, he didn't know, but on the other hand he doubted that there was always someone on duty - not all the residents of the palace, after all, were so considerate of the times they might have desired some culinary refreshment.
As they walked, though, Euric could but think where would they be headed now, really. Obviously discussing such matters out open like there wasn't good, but where could he take her instead? Considering the matter the first choice would've quite clearly been the Viceroy's Palace, but... Technically Euric had never left the palace - or so did they think back there. So, how could he explain suddenly showing up from the outside along with an unknown woman and to claim they had some business to discuss? Back there, though, he could have her account checked and confirmed in no time. And if she'd turn out to be a fraud... Hmm. Yet, hitting some random café or such at this hour wasn't any better than the park - even worse, really, since those places tended to be quite crowded especially this late in the evening. Some places had private cabinets, though, but the prince knew better than to trust the 'privacy' they offered. Especially if someone would recognize him - mostly unlikely, but always possible. He made a glance at her, furtively. After all she had, too...
Well, other than the palace was really no option. Whatever the consequences of him returning as he had supposedly never even left. On the other hand, he thought, no one should have had complaints of his choice of company here. After all, she was a Britannian spy, a subordinate of the Emperor - more than enough for them to have no say on the matter. Real or not, that they wouldn't be told, he mentally smirked.
They reached the gates for exit and stepping outside the park area, the prince halted and gave a look around for a taxi. Of course he couldn't have it drive straight into the palace district, but nearby would be enough, somewhere where they could walk there. This was that though he had been recognized by the model, didn't mean he'd choose to blow his cover entirely. Not immediately, but soon enough a cab appeared into his sight, and waving for it to stop and pick them up, he looked at Eve. "We'll be going to the Viceroy's Palace - that's where we can discuss in peace, and everything that might be needed is at hand." He smiled. "Should anyone question your presence, just tell them what you've told to me - that you're a subordinate of the Emperor, assigned to protect me. That should do." The cab now there, he opened its door and softly led her in, following after her. Soon was the driver speeding towards the given destination.
Some quarter later they stepped out of the car at a suitable walking distance of the palace. A couple of minutes of walking, and they'd reach the borders of the outer rim of the security lines around the palace, where inside these lines common citizens weren't allowed anymore. Euric paid the driver and as the cab then drove away, offered his hand again to the model and began to escort her towards the entrance of the palace district.

Kitchen staff? the model thought, slightly perturbed. Well he is a prince after all. I doubt we'd go somewhere like a cafe. It probably wouldn't be fancy enough for his tastes. She allowed the prince to lead her to the exit of the theme park in silence. Eve did her best to hide her surprise as a thought suddenly struck her. Is this like a date? Well, we'll be talking and possibly eating or drinking tea. A faint blush spread across her face as she reasoned that it was a date, well sort of. Maybe not officially, but enough to be able to spend some alone time in private with the prince. Another step toward her goal. Her father would be proud of her at this rate.
Eve swallowed an invisible lump as Euric informed her that they would be going to the Viceroy's Palace. Okay, don't do anything rash. There's a good chance your cover could get blown or worse. She nodded in response to his second statement. Continuing to lie to the other drones would be fairly easy. She just hoped that her father or one of his subordinates had hacked into the Britannian database and added a file for her. She silently followed the prince into the cab and gazed at her lap the whole time they rode in the tiny car. She didn't know why, but suddenly she couldn't think of anything to say.
As they exited the cab, she realized they would have to walk the rest of the way to the palace. She sighed as her shoulders sagged slightly. Oh well. At least she was with the handsome prince. Something dawned on her just then. The prince was alone the whole time. No known drones nearby for his protection. He must have slipped out of the palace to come and meet her.
"So, if we're going through the front doors, what do you intend to do with your guards? I'm fairly certain they didn't exactly give you permission to come to the theme park and chat with me." She smiled a bit as she looked up at the prince awaiting his response.

The question made the prince smile slightly embarrased, resulting him to response with a nod. "You're right - I'm nowhere near I'm expected to be, or rather ordered to, but..." His gaze becoming a bit thoughtful, as he continued. "...to the guards though, it's technically nothing new - the new part is me not sneaking also back in without them knowing." , his expression changed back into the soft smile, "...bu tit should be fine... After all, I'm accompanied by one of himself the Emperor's underlings."
Almost as soon as that, they finally reached the gates. Needless to say, the welcome wasn't exactly a warm one. A trio of guards were waiting there, and none of them failed to neglect their duty as the movement of the two came into their field of vision, coming closer with every step they took. An ordinary by-passer they would have disregarded, but they did very well know the difference between movement of the by-passers and those, who actually came straight at them. , "Halt! Who's there? State your name and business!" From the guards' positions could clearly be seen that they would not hesitate - especially during night-time - to even shoot if someone unwanted would try to trespass. Guns not visible, but definitely ready, were the welcome for the First Prince and his attendant. Put as they could keep their faces in front of almost anything, so did the First Prince. He led Eve alongside him as they went and stopped but a few meters away from the guards, now completely visible to them. As he then spoke in response to them, the warm and soft tone of voice of his had completely changed into something quite the opposite - the restrained, calm voice of the First Prince of the Imperial Family. Euric had removed his hat midway their short walk - the long, white locks now spread again from under it and settling around his face as a contrast for the otherwise short and raven hair, making him completely identifiable. He gave all the three guards the gesture of an official greeting, and after had his ID card ready for them to take a look at and observe. "Repose, officers. This is Euric Qi Britannia - returning from a late walk, accompanied by His Majesty's the Emperor's officer." He only hoped she would play along his words - after all, she would gain nothing from not doing so either.
The effect was immediate. Taking their poses before the prince as well as Eve, one the trio confirmed about his ID, which after they but bowed. "We're deeply sorry, Your Highness! We hope you'll understand our duty and forgive our rudeness!" Euric but nodded, and waved them to ease themselves. "It's perfectly fine - you're only doing your duty. I would be more worried if you didn't - so ease, now." Though still mumbling and keeping their bows the guards now let them pass, and Euric kept escorting Eve slowly but steadily through the gateway, his intended destination being one of the smaller and comfier meeting rooms on the same floor as his official study inside the palace.

"That you are. I'm so used to being undercover, that I forget that I'm a Britannian spy sometimes." Eve chuckled nervously as she prayed that her father did indeed put her in the Britannian military system. Otherwise, things would go south rather quickly. Silently, the model followed the prince right up to the gates where they were then stopped by the guards.
Pushing her worry aside, she stood beside the prince with confidence plastered all over her face. If she faltered the slightest, the guards would most likely become suspicious and that would be no good. She merely nodded when Euric indicated her identity. It was best for the prince to do all the talking after all. After the small scene, she remained silent as she followed the prince to their destination.
If he investigates the database and I'm not listed, I shall need a back up plan. She subtly gazed around the room for any possible escapes. Purple eyes slightly shifted upward to look at the ceiling. They quickly landed upon a small vent. It's a little high and small, but it'll have to do. Let's just hope if I am discovered that I'll have enough time to react.
Sighing the blue haired model prayed for the umpteenth time that this meeting would go smoothly.

Euric hadn't noticed her subtle search for the possible escape route, but instead led her towards a small table and two armchairs in the left corner of the room. The place wasn't too big, one of the inner rooms of the government building. It was a simple small study with few bookshelves, the said group of furniture and a desk at the opposite side of the room. He made gesture towards the chairs with his hand, nodding at the direction. "Please, have a seat."
On the desk there was a laptop, which the prince went to get and as he had sat down to the other chair, laid on the table and turned on. Of course even he wouldn't have the rights to access the files of the Emperor's underlings straight away, but he would ask for a confirmation of her existence in the database, as well as a permission for her (expected) file.
Waiting for the software to load, Euric straightened himself, turned to look at Eve again. She still seemed to be a bit nervous, though it was probably but natural considering the situation. So, softly smiling, he leaned back in his chair, keeping his eyes at her. At the moment, he had actually forgotten about the tea and/or parfait he had offered her. It wasn't really like him, but the time of the day might have had something to do with it and, he was very much curious about her. "Pardon if I'm being rude like this, but as it is kind of late I'd rather go straight to the business. So. Why is it that you'd wish to work directly for me? And how would you plan to do so? I, unfortunately, don't exactly administrate spies."

Eve was a tad startled as the prince asked her to sit. Nodding politely, she took the offered chair all the while keeping her guard up. She watched as the first prince reached for a small portable computer. With each button he pressed, her heart rate increased a little. Her adrenaline kicked in and she could feel her hands start to quiver in response to the epinephrine now coursing through her veins. Her mouth felt like it was drying out and she feared being unable to speak. The model was thoroughly nervous, and she feared that it was rather apparent.
Sure, during other missions her cover had been blown. Actually, the blue haired model couldn't recall any mission where her cover had remained in tact. The key difference between those and now, were they were small missions affecting people no one seemed to really care about. This was the first prince. If she were to be discovered, she'd be a wanted criminal every where. There would be virtually no place for her to hide. Not to mention, she'd doubt she'd make it out of the Viceroy palace alive.
Deep breaths, she told herself. Calm down. There's nothing to worry about right now. You can wait to panic until you are discovered. Being nervous will only make him more suspicious of you.
Once again, she was startled slightly as the prince spoke to her. The model hoped that he didn't notice. Taking a deep and hopefully calming breath, she spoke.
"Well my mission is to protect you from any potential harm that may befall you." Eve's voice cracked slightly, but she managed to get it back under control. "It's kind of difficult to do it from a distance, so I figured it'd be much easier to do it by your side. Besides, you don't look all that happy out traveling with a posse of guards. I'm sure you'd prefer one guard trained in several different fighting techniques. As well as the ability to kill on command."
The moment she finished speaking however, her heart rate and adrenaline reminded her how delicate the situation truly was. In a few moments she would find out whether or not her mission would end here and now, and it scared her. She bit her lip lightly and squeezed her hands tightly underneath the table as she waited for the first prince to give her his verdict.

Euric kept silent as he listened to her, not interrupting the slightest to get to hear all of it. The only time he didn't look at her was to send the request for her file, but when the connection had loaded, it took but a second or too. Well, seemed her declaration hadn't been just any whim to get out of an sticky situation or anything (though, on the other hand - he though - if it would've been just some excuse he still didn't see how it would've gotten her situation any better). And, she really had a point there - a few, in fact. Protecting him more easily was one thing. The number of guards being another. The first prince had somewhat tried to hide his displeasure towards the group(s) of guards always attending him almost wherever he went, out of courtesy of course, so he was a bit surprised for her to have noticed - but no, on the other hand, it might have been just natural for her to notice. But just as she had now pointed out, like he himself had thought last a day and a half before - just one guard instead of a dozen didn't sound that bad an option at all. Even if it meant him nominating himself a knight - lately he had actually began to get accustomed to the idea of having one, while becoming more and more frustrated with the said 'posse'. The fault wasn't the men's, of course, but he couldn't help the feeling of being practically tied up in a leash (which, in a sense, wasn't far from the truth anyway).
But then came this - here, she offered him almost exactly what he had thought for the last days. If not for the identity still yet confirmed, as well as discussing and debating it with the Emperor of course as it was about his direct underling, after all, he would seriously consider her offer. If her file was all right, even more so - oh, what was he thinking, of course it would be all right (if found). One didn't become the Emperor's spy for nothing. If this was going to be, he would save much time and nerves rather than if he'd had to begin searching for a knight out of the blue. All the ruckus, let alone all the other people getting mixed into it... Ohh, not in a lifetime. If he had to finally get himself one, he definitely preferred to handle it on his own, preferably no one straight interfering. Euric only hoped she was really what she had told she was - if so, she would make a perfect option - even more as she was already willingly offering her service to him. then a thought crossed his mind that it would also probably ease things up that he'd ask her to be his Knight - asking for a personal Knight from his people, even the Emperor would probably have nothing against it.
The moment after she had finished, how come, finally came the answer also to his request with a slight beep as a signal voice. If the prince had been still slightly tense about it, glancing at the screen now made it all a past worry. It had been now confirmed that she was in the database, as she should have - an underling for His Majesty the Emperor. That was pretty much all it said, though, but anything considering the Emperor's businesses having so high a security level was no surprise to Euric. Lifting his gaze from the screen he turned to look at the spy model, who, for some reason, seemed perhaps even more tense than what she had been before. It made the prince to lift an eyebrow, but what he did was to give her a reassuring smile. The truth stood there on the screen, and he had no reason to doubt her anymore. "I'm sorry, did I came out that unsettling a moment ago? If so, my deepest apologizes. My meaning wasn't to scare you. The database confirms you as I expected, and you are right - I would much better prefer just one guard instead of a group of them. Of course, I can not yet promise you anything since you are still under the direct control of His Majesty, but..." His smile grew a bit wider, and he stood up, closing the laptop. "...how would you response if I were to request you to become my Knight?"

Eve sighed in relief as the prince informed her that she was indeed in the system. Her heart rate returned to normal, but her hands still quivered from the effects of the adrenaline. It'd be a bit before it wore off.
"Of course, I can not yet promise you anything since you are still under the direct control of His Majesty, but..."
What was this? Was he seriously going to talk to the Emperor? It's no cause for worry. If my father can pull off putting me in the system, he can get the Emperor to play along as well. The model's expression changed from a smile to a look of confusion as the prince stood while closing his laptop.
"...how would you response if I were to request you to become my Knight?"
Indigo eyes widened in shock at the question. "Knight? Me? Yours?" she stammered eyes never leaving the prince. That is until she continued speaking, eyes looking everywhere, but Euric. "I- I don't know what to say. I was thinking more along the lines of being the head body guard. Well I guess being a knight could be considered that. I mean being a knight to a royal is a big responsibility. Plus I don't think anyone would look highly on you for having a 17 year old girl as your knight. Not to mention it's most likely straining and frustrating and..." She stood as her eyes finally reconnected with the prince's eyes. Blushing deeply, she gave him her answer.
"I'd be honored your highness."

A soft smile spread on his face as she responded - well, only natural that she would be astounded. Despite the earlier course of the conversation, like she said, a rather more predictable proposal could've been a high ranking body guard. But a regular head of the bodyguards simply lead the gang, but was never alone either. A knight, though, was a completely different matter - above them all, to begin with.
Of course it was a huge responsibility, he knew all that. But Euric was still the First Prince of the Empire - if he considered someone worthy of this kind of request, he really thought they would live up to his expectations, whether they agreed then or not. Not a word he would take such a thing lightly, or wouldn't have considered it thoroughly. In a way, though, during the long night between today and the amusement park incident the day before, he had somewhat hoped that she was genuine. For if so, what he saw was indeed a fine candidate for a Knight-to-be. Both the file of hers as well as what he had seen of her showed that she was a capable combatant, and being a model she could behave as well - an important factor considering that she would have to be representative alongside him in whatever occasions Lady Faty would throw at him. And, the least important in general (but important to him anyway), he had already grown fond of her as a person. So, in what better way could he ask for her to work for him, if she was already offering her service to him?
So, moving his hand to his heart and the other behind his back, he half bowed to her. "I'd be honored to have your service. Don't you worry about your age," he straightened and winked, "I do remember a certain great-great aunt of mine to have had a Knight of the same age as you are. Besides, it's the skill that matters, not the age. And I do believe you'll manage perfectly fine - otherwise, surely, I would never even think of suggesting you something like this."
Euric sat back down to his chair, a bit of a more serious expression taking over his face. "Of course, if you think it'd be straining and frustrating or anything of that kind and you don't wish to accept, I understand. You understand well it is a big responsibility, and it must not be accepted lightly. No one forces you to accept - and you shouldn't, if you have any doubts. But I'm asking you - and it is what you could do best if you wish to work for me. If you have any objections, please state them now." A small smile began to yank the corner of his mouth again. "Otherwise I'll take your answer as a yes and begin the preparations of making it official right the firs-", Ahh crap, there's that wedding meeting again right after breakfast, he remembered, "-second thing tomorrow."

Eve's blush only deepened as the prince bowed slightly to her. That's probably something she would have to get used to from now on being a knight and all. Just as her blush disappeared, it popped right back up as Euric mentioned her age.
"I kinda forgot that I'm under the legal adult age," she said while rubbing the back of her head nervously. She had grown so used to being treated like an adult, that she had forgotten her own age.
Ah, but all would be fine now. At least her age was of no importance to the prince at least. Although, she knew being female and being so young at that, the model would most likely be ridiculed as would the prince for such an odd choice. However, that didn't matter to Eve in the slightest. With her know becoming the prince's knight she was taking a giant leap forward in her mission's objective.
"Oh no, I don't feel as if I'm being forced. I would love to be your knight." She smiled.
Images of the knighting ceremony entered her mind. It would be a wonderful new experience, that's for sure.

"Oh no, I don't feel as if I'm being forced. I would love to be your knight."
His smile growing wider, the prince nodded. "So we shall agree, then. Now there's only to hope my brother doesn't have too much against this." Truly, he hoped the emperor wouldn't. Otherwise he would be only at the beginning of the whole ordeal - again. For now, though, Euric was relieved - he could only thank the whatever higher force out there to have made him actually find a Knight this easily, and so to carry out the lingering thought of his about one. Though completely another thing would be the ordeal yet to came - the ceremony, and the every other practical thing coming along with such a nomination.
Well, first to have the emperor's approval. But before anything else, a proper night's sleep (or whatever left of it he could catch) would be in place. Euric didn't even want to know what the time already was - very late or very early depending how one would look at it, anyway. He was fortunate to have his accommodation arranged in the same building - but what about her? He had dragged her here not even thinking how or where she would go back to. He frowned, then turned to gaze at her, pondering. "Excuse me, but where are you staying for now?" He hawked, and an apologizing tone finding its way to his voice. "I'm terribly sorry I'm rushing you like this, but it is getting awfully late, and in case I'll be negotiating with the Emperor tomorrow I'll probably be needing a good night's sleep, don't you think?" He smirked slightly. "...your lodging, that is, I asked because if you'd need a ride to get home? If there's anything I can do?"

"I don't think he'll mind at all," Eve replied. "After all, I'd still be doing my job, only a lot less suspiciously." She smiled at the prince.
The model's heart sank a little as the conversation moved from it's current direction to that of another topic; leaving. Of course she knew she wouldn't be able to stay with the prince all night, but she was hoping to spend at least a little more time with him. Oh well. Might as well take this opportunity to leave. Eve was certain her father was worried about her. It had been a month since her last report, and with this new development, he would most certainly be pleased.
"Oh no. I won't need a ride. I like to walk." She smiled again. "Just let me know when you'll need me to be here again."
Bowing slightly to the prince, the model headed for the door. Just as she was about to exit the room, she looked back over her shoulder at the prince and waved briefly. She took her time exiting the building to soak up as much detail about the place as she could. The Britannians were very cautious with their royals. Had she been discovered, Eve most likely would have been captured as escaping would be rather difficult. Yawning, she exited the building and continued to head back to Clovisland where her trailer awaited her.
