Aleksei walked across the empty plaza toward the towering Irkalla Corporation building. It was hard to believe that this very plaza was the setting for one of the largest massacres in tokyo's history and that he was one of the contributing factors to it all the blood and the bodies had been wiped away a long time ago but marks and burns from the battle could still be seen it was early in the morning and the sun was just beggining to rise over the horizon
He entered through the front doors and walked up too the receptionist's desk she was a young woman probably around 20 or 21 "Hello Sir do you have an appointment" The woman said looking up from her computer as Aleksei entered there were two Irkalla Corp Sentinels standing by the elevator behind her and two at the door he had just entered "No but I was hoping that I could schedule one for today" Aleksei said smiling brightly "Name Please" The receptionist said "Aleksei Antonin Makarov" Aleksei said leaning on the desk with a now bored expression on his face he knew what her reaction would be The Receptionist froze and looked up slowly at Aleksei and instantly recognized him from the newspapers and the wanted signs around the city the sentinels in the room tensed when they realized who they were in the presence of "I assure you if I were here to kill you. you would already be dead" Aleksei said in a blunt voice he used to take joy in the fear his name brought but now it brought boredom "I-I'll inform Miss Gallows of your arrival M-Mr Makarov" The Receptionist said sending a call to Aurora's office

Aurora was sitting on her office when the call came in. She absently pressed the button, hearing the receptionist's voice come in, "Mr. Makarov is here to see you." "Send him up." The receptionist will nod to one of the Sentinel's in the lobby. The Sentinel returns the nod, walking over, "Right this way, Mr. Makarov." the man said through his helmet, his voice electronically amplified so it wasn't muffled by the armor on his face. The Sentinel will lead Aleksei to the elevator and press the button for the 13th floor. The building had more than 13 floors, but this floor was Aurora's... she was an odd one, after all. The elevator was equipped with hidden scanners that silently and discreetly searched Aleksei for bombs, weapons, knifes... it used the same technology as the REAVER system, using a harmless version of x-ray developed by Irkalla. Even if someone had swallowed a ceramic blade... it'd be found by the scanner.
Once on the 13th floor the elevator door will open, revealing a long hallway with polished black marble floors. The walls were lined with medieval-inspired banners with the Irkalla symbol, along with another symbol bearing a snake entwined around a sword. Two Golems stood at each side of the double doors at the end of the hallway that lead to Aurora's office. If Aleksei is carrying no weapons or explosives he'll be lead straight to the office. If he has anything on him he'll be kindly asked to hand over his weaponry and informed that these items will be returned to him once he leaves the building.
In her garden of an office, Aurora sat behind her large desk, her bare feet upon the wooden surface of her desk and her sphinx cat Nergal on her lap, purring softly as Aurora petted his hairless back. There were quite a few cats in the office, hidden in the plants, or playing around the floor... just doing cat things. Just one more of Aurora's odd quirks... she adored cats.

Aleksei at the moment was not carrying anything of harm which was strange for him he actually felt vulnerable without some sort of weapon on him he walked past the two golems who were still and stoic like statues but he could tell exactly what they were capable of from they're body build he entered the large garden like area Aurora considered her office he could immediatly notice two things Aurora and of course all the cats in the room
"Good Morning Aurora I hope I didn't decide to come at a bad time." Aleksei said smiling his face had a smile but ono the inside he felt vulnerable but it didn't show on his face if he was taught one thing in the Spetsnaz it was to remain calm in all situations so that your weakness doesn't cloud you judgement with it's doubts

Aurora stretched her arms, making Nergal meow in protest and hop off her lap. She got her feet off her desk, sitting up straight, "Please, take a seat if you want." she said gesturing to the two arm chairs on Aleksei's side of the desk.
Aurora took a sip of tea from a cup on her desk, her eyes finally focusing on Aleksei as a smile curled up on her soft lips, "Aleksei Makarov. You come to me with a myriad of offers... yet, I will start this interview with the following: what is your true goal in life?" Aurora stared straight into Aleksei's eyes as she asked this, her pink eyes half-closed in a sly manner, "Be aware that the answer to this question will simply give me an idea of where you will fit into my employment options and nothing more." this, of course, was a lie... but Aurora could have been connected to a polygraph and easily pass this statement as true. It was traditional of her to ask this question to all potential employees.

Aleksei took a seat in one of the arm chairs he listened to her question and sighed "My Goal in life...Is to teach the world to appreciate life mostly even if it means I have to force them to watch it burn" Aleksei said truthfully he wasn't ashamed but he wasn't used to telling people his goals most people would never understand his motives they would criticize him and antagonize him
"Not exactly the most normal goal I know" Aleksei added crossing his legs waiting for Aurora's response something inside him told him that Aurora would be one of the few people who would understand

Gauron suffered through a slightly less stringent version of what Aleksei had. The card that Aurora had given him allowed almost instant access to the elevators. He too was led to them by one of Irkalla's infamous Sentinels to the lifts where he boarded and was taken to the 13th floor.
Once again, he was forced to relinquish his weapons. He was armed surprisingly light today, only one pistol and a pair of knives. With that out of the way, he was permitted entry into Aurora's office. He entered just in time to hear Aleksei's answer about wanting to make people appreciate life.
What a stupid thing to say, he thought morosely. Humans were the most unappreciative of all creatures. Very few actually appreciated anything, including the lives of others... or their own. Of course, that was just the vast majority of them. Gauron could, though, understand the allure of ending their lives. It was just too much fun not to. "Well aren't you a pleasant one?" he said - with sarcasm aplenty - to the Russian as he came closer.
With a sneer, he realized that the office was full of cats. Gauron hated cats. Any creature that could actually enjoy milk like they did was not to be trusted. Luckily enough, they seemed to have a hearty dislike for him as well. He shifted his attention to Aurora. "Well it seems as though I'm interrupting," he said just before sitting in the vacant chair. Disruptive presence or not, he wasn't going to leave until he had what he came for.

Aurora looked up at Gauron walking in. Her left eye twitched just slightly as her obsessive compulsive disorder kicked in. She was never informed of him coming up, and she never gave permission for him to come up. Aurora stood up, clearing her throat, "Gauron... yes, you are interrupting..." she smiled, her pleasant business smile, which is very hard to differentiate from her normal smile. She was a professional, and Aleksei was more of a professional than Gauron, so she would deal with the situation accordingly. Aurora smiled to Aleksei, "I apologize." she said with a nod.
Aurora turned her attention to Gauron, "I suppose you are here to inquire on your product? I assure you its assembly is almost complete. It should be ready by the end of the week. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Aleksei frowned when he heard another voice and footsteps he cast a side glance at the person who had interrupted them and recognized him "Its no problem at all Aurora its to be expected that you have other matters to attend to also" Aleksei said smiling he recognized the man sitting next to him from old newspaper clippings and news broadcasts he had some of his sources dig up information on the man but they never did find alot only that his name was Josef "Gauron" Totschlager also known as the Massacre Salesman and currently has a contract with the Chinese Federation he always wanted to keep an eye on people new in the world of "Terrorism" he wanted to learn where others had failed and succeeded and truly there was much to learn from this man but something made him feel slightly hostile toward him perhaps it was the because the man had been collecting information on him. Aleksei had been informed by some of his old connections from the KGB that a man had been collecting information on Aleksei Makarov

Gauron read Aurora's body language despite her attempts to hide it. She was annoyed that he had barged in, that much was certain. He found it quite humorous, really, but wouldn't let his mirth show. He smiled at Aurora as pleasantly as he could - though it still likely came out looking like a wolf baring its fangs - while she asked him if he had any further business. "I do have one question, actually. Is there an armory that I'm allowed to access? I've been using the pieces of trash that the Chinese call weapons for far too long now. I believe it's time for me to get some experience with your company's world famous merchandise." It was a spur of the moment question, and had little to do with his original purpose in coming here, but it would provide him a chance to stay a little longer. This was so much fun!
He cast a quick sideways glance at Makarov. The man didn't look at all like a killer. Rather, he looked more the sort to be stuck with desk work far away from any sort of action. Gauron had always felt that about the Russian, but the opinion was strengthened by seeing him in person. Of course, if there was anything that all his decades had taught him, it was that how people looked didn't count for squat when it came to slaughtering others.

Aurora let out a laugh, "Well of course... how silly of me to forget. The Chinese are centuries behind in technology... it must be like using sticks and stones. Effective... but so lacking." She quickly typed a few things on her keyboard, and a card popped out of the desk from seemingly nowhere. A hidden printer of sorts on the old-looking wooden desk. She handed the card to Gauron, it being a keycard, "This will grant you access to the Tier 1 armory. I hope you understand if I only give you access to Tier 1 equipment... we need to protect our trade secrets. Believe me, though... Tier 1 equipment is rather impressive compared to the archaic junk the modern world claims as 'cutting edge'. You will find the armory in the first floor, marked AR1 on the floor map." she smiled, "Anything else?" she could tell Gauron was trying to upset her out of amusement... and given she knew that now she had relaxed, her smiles being true and almost playful. She found Gauron to be such a curious man. A shame he didn't seem sexually interested in her in the slightest. It would be so much fun to play with someone like him. But this sort of almost childish playing was fun too. In Aurora's eyes, Gauron was much like a grizzly bear: extremely dangerous, brutal, but at the same time, if looked upon in the right light, almost huggable. The thought made her giggle.

Aleksei crossed his legs and drummed his fingers on the arm of the chair he was sitting in. he wasn't getting impatient really this was his way of staying patient by finding something interesting for him to do while others conducted buisness
Aleksei looked around at the cats around the room and scratched one behind the ears idly as it rubbed against his leg the cat jumped into his lap and proceeded to sit in his lap "I like cats they're not as loud as dogs are" Aleksei muttered to himself petting the cat sitting in his lap the cat purred softly

Gauron took the card from Aurora. "Tier 1 will do fine," he said as graciously as he could muster. He couldn't blame her for not allowing access to the more advanced pieces of hardware. Trade secrets were something that he had grown accustomed to. He slipped the keycard into a pocket on the inside of his jacket.
He could feel the beginnings of tension growing from Makarov. All thoughts about staying and further annoying him vanished the moment he commented about liking cats. Gauron scowled in response to the Russian's statement and stood. To Aurora he said "well, then it seems that I'll be seeing you soon." He turned and began walking out of the massive office. "I trust that I'll be very happy with it." With that, he was out of the room and heading towards the armory.
When an employee tried to return his weapons, he took only his knives and forgot about the pistol. Once in the armory, he felt joyed again. The room was large and filled with racks of new toys. Gauron found himself humming a happy tune as he perused the shelves. "I should have brought a bag..." He wanted desperately to try out some of the assault rifles, but there would be time for that later. A new handgun and several magazines of ammunition would suffice for now. With his business concluded, Gauron left the Irkalla building for his apartment, pleased with the day's results.

Aurora studied Gauron's body language closely. He was like a library to her, so full of different stories, yet no full tome to read... just little passages of different stories. He was so interesting...
As Gauron left the large garden of eden that is Aurora's office she turned her attention back to Aleksei, smiling warmly at him. Aleksei was also a library, one that Aurora felt welcome in. With Gauron she felt like a child entering her dad's study to sneak peaks at ancient tomes. With Aleksei she felt like she was part of an exclusive group allowed to peruse through secret texts.
It was exciting...
"To make people appreciate life... at any cost. Well, your goals are not far from those of this company, my dear Aleksei." she stated with a purr, returning to their conversation seamlessly. "Here at Irkalla we seek to promote world peace..." she paused, her eyes trailing up as she caught her words, a small laugh escaping her, "Promote... it's more like..." her eyes turned to Aleksei's, "Force..." she smirked. "But there will be more about that later. Now, you have very unique abilities and connections, all of which I've taken into consideration. These abilities open an ample specter of options for you within this company... so I will gladly reiterate these possibilities. Now tell me, Aleksei... do you wish to be part of this company as a whole, operating under my guidance? Or would you prefer to be a hired hand, given assignments you may or may not choose to take and being paid for said tasks upon completion? This second option is our Privateer division, and it seems to suit a lot of individuals with a background similar to yours, however, I feel you might wish to be a more solid part of our operation. Please, correct me if I'm wrong in that feeling." she smirked. Of course, being a solid part of Irkalla would mean Aleksei would have to give up some of his more rambunctious operations. But what could be the cost to a goal as glorious as the unification of mankind? By any means necessary?

Aleksei thought for a moment he was slightly suprised by Aurora's offer to join Irkalla Corporation but it didn't show on his face "That is a very generous offer Ms Aurora I'm sure you don't offer such opportunities to people such as myself often so I am honored to accept your offer to join Irkalla corporation" Aleksei said nodding
If he joined Irkalla he would have to stop some of his more rambunctious activities but on the other hand he would be among people who shared common goals with him in the end the latter comes out on top

"I am aware you have no recording equipment... my scanners would have easily identified any, so I find myself free to be honest with you..." Aurora stood, walking to the large glass wall behind her desk, overlooking the cityscape, "I have a vision. Governments have steered humanity for too long into needless battles over ideals that are simply ridiculous. Petty disputes between power mongers, racial discrimination, religious discrepancies... and well, the list is nearly infinite." she turned to face Aleksei, her pink eyes almost glowing in the dim light coming from the window behind her, "I want an end to this. Nations are an atrocity forced upon humanity by their greed and their pride. It is a negative and rather optional nature. People do not understand that this is not needed, that humanity should unite in celebration of life, knowledge, and industry, rather than war over foolish trivialities." Aurora walked closer, coming around the desk, sitting on the edge of her desk on front of Aleksei, crossing her legs, a smile on her face as her pink eyes studied his every reaction to what she has been saying, "Joining me means you relinquish all nationalistic ideals. My employees are loyal to me and Irkalla first, above all else. We are a brotherhood. Many companies will throw around the idea of 'we are family' and then be as cold as a dead man's hand... not Irkalla. We are family. United for our goal, driven by our collective idealistic view, and understanding that change requires a revolution, and revolutions are never a peaceful affair. We are ready to show this world that it needs unity, that we have the tools for unity, and that if anyone opposes said unity they will face annihilation." she was dead serious. No pleasant smiles, no seductive hues, this was Aurora at her core. Ruthless, iron-fisted, and undeniably driven. Her expression softened just as quickly as it had hardened, as a soft pleasant smile formed on her soft pale lips, "We also operate with surgical precision. We have a public face we must protect. Privateers have freedom of being reckless, given they are hired hands. Our legal employees are required to act with greater finesse... do keep this in mind when making your decision." Aurora was already planning ways to hire someone with Aleksei's reputation without causing an international scandal. The options were numerous, but Aleksei might not like most of them... for now she had to gauge his reaction and choice first. If he chose to join as a whole, she'd test his loyalty further by proposing some of these options. Most of them involved Aleksei taking away all claims of his previous terrorist attacks... actions that he surely took pride in. Others involved a fake identity, which he might take a little easier. She'd decide what to propose depending on what she gathers from him... and what she judges as the right test.
