The plans for the wedding were slowly coming together despite the First Princess’ mind being elsewhere. Sylvana had finally settled on going to bed around three in the morning. Lack of sleep wasn’t something unfamiliar to her, however, and it certainly didn’t prevent her from returning to the hospital the following morning. Tristan was a trusted soldier, a trusted captain… maybe even a trusted friend, and Sylvana would never forgive herself if she let Anderson lay a hand on him without her personal supervision. Tristan was free to make his own decisions; he didn’t necessarily need protecting, but Sylvana would not let Anderson treat him like some sort of lab rat.
Perhaps Sylvana had been too quick to dismiss Ayame’s intuition last night. Her younger sister was a good judge of character and she hadn’t been very fond of the nurse who had come to retrieve Tristan. But Sylvana had been comparing her to Anderson last night, and at that time anyone would have been better than the ‘doctor’. Even now Sylvana didn’t give much thought about in who’s care she had left Tristan, but she should have. In retrospect Sylvanan should have exercised more caution; she should have listened to, should have trusted her sister regardless of what the captain himself thought. She should have, but she hadn’t, and she, and quite possibly Tristan, would pay for her own carelessness.
Tristan’s room was empty and looked much like it had when Sylvana and her sister had left the night before. A feeling of dread settled into the pit of Vana’s stomach and the first princess couldn’t help but think that he hadn’t been returned to his room by the nurse after she had taken him. Hoping against hope that he had either been relocated or was having some other procedure done, Sylvana headed to the nurse’s station. “Is Captain Leodegrance having a procedure done now?”
The nurse didn’t answer right away. In fact she looked rather confused by the question, especially considering who it was who was asking. “N-No, my lady. The Captain wasn’t in his room this morning, so we had assumed he had been called back to duty.”
Sylvana’s eyes narrowed a bit and her hands clenched into fists at her side. That was not the answer she had wanted to hear. “You didn’t call to confirm after one of your patients went missing?”
“N-No. W-We had assumed…” The anger the nurse heard laced into Sylvana’s tone made her much less willing to explain further.
“He was taken for a CAT scan late last night. He must have been back by morning.” The First Princess was trying very hard to keep her tone even. It wasn’t technically the nurse’s fault, but she was an easy target at the moment.
The poor woman, close to Vana in age herself, looked a bit frightened as the princess’ voice tightened, and she quickly brought up the captain’s chart on her computer. “It doesn’t seem that he was scheduled for any kind of procedure last night.” The nurse informed the princess, a bit hesitantly, knowing that wasn’t what the princess wanted to hear.
“Are you sure?” Vana spoke each word slowly and deliberately in another attempt to keep her temper in check.
“Y-yes, Princess.” The nurse’s answer was a squeak as she prepared to receive some sort of punishment.
Sylvana was quiet for several long moments, but after more than a few deep breaths some of the tension left her shoulders, and the First Princess calmed herself down a bit. “I need access to the hospital’s security system. I need to review footage from the cameras last night.”
“I—I can’t…”
Any patience, any sense of calm that Sylvana had gained vanished in an instant. “Then who can!” She yelled, slamming her hands down on the desk in irritation.
The poor nurse, frightened by the princess’ barely contained anger, directed her to the security center. The guard on duty wasn’t nearly as frightened by Sylvana’s anger, but wasn’t about to deny her access to the footage she wanted and incur her wrath on himself. Sylvana scanned through the recordings, back tracking to where Tristan had been taken from them. She saw the nurse take him from the room, and followed the woman’s path down the hallway and into the elevator. It took her a while to find the woman again, but when she did fire sparked behind her eyes. The nurse, who was clearly as Ayame had suspected was not a nurse, brought Tristan straight to Anderson, waiting patiently for them both.
Sylvana couldn’t see well what was going on, and the cameras didn’t pick up sound, but considering Tristan’s lack of protest she could only assume Anderson had drugged him with something to keep him quiet, a more manageable victim. Anger made her blood boil as Anderson drove off with Tristan. “How dare he? How dare he!” She slammed her hands onto the console in frustration. All the footage showed was that Anderson had taken Tristan and left. She had no idea where he was heading, or even why!
The princess clenched her hands into fists again, letting her nails dig into her palm. Eventually though Sylvana pooled her anger, frustration, and especially her fear and locked it away for the time being. None of it would help now. She might not know where Anderson had taken him, but she would certainly find out. Vana would do whatever she had to in order to find him again. She would make it right. This was her fault and she alone would make it right.
When Sylvana was in a bad mood, the soldiers and government officials knew to stay out of her way, and despite having managed to contain her fury at the hospital and after she had returned, Sylvana was feeling far from pleasant or even polite. So when Sylvana returned to her temporary office, she was thankfully left alone. She shoved everything she’d had on her desk for security plans for her brother’s wedding to the side and set to finding whatever information she could about Anderson and his ‘research’.

“And when sipping soup, one must be mindful of where they are. In some areas, it is considered politeness to slurp, whereas in others it is con- HIME SAMA!
“Hngm?” Ayame snapped he head up from her desk, blinking blearily. Hair askew, shirt ruffled, the third princess looked as if she had just woken up. Which she indeed just did. “The answer is smile politely?”Her teacher sighed aggredvatedly and, while trying to maintain a clam composure (after all, it was only polite to do so), folded her hands over her smiting stick. Which was screaming to be used.
“Hime-sama…care to explain why you have fallen asleep during my lessons….again?” Indeed, this was the third time this day alone that Ayame had decided to snooze midway of her lessons. She rubbed her eyes, yawing loudly. “Hime-sama…” Ayame’s hand quickly flew to her mouth at the tone of her teacher’s voice.
“Sorry Sensei…it’s just…had a bit of a late night…” Her teacher raised one eyebrow in disapproval.
“Off frolicking again, are we? I shall have to report this to your sister, Sylvana-himesama…I’m sure she would not approve of-
“oh, she was with me.”
“Eh?” The teacher’s eyebrow rose higher, but this time in a more inquisitive manner. The First Princess? Off somewhere? Last time she checked, there wasn't some function that would require both Princess' presence. “Hime-sama? If I may ask, where were you last night?” Ayame yawned loudly again, stretching slightly, causing her back to crack.
“Aahh that felt good…”
“Hime-sama…”
“Huh? Oh right! Yea, I was at the hospital, visiting Wounderrr...Tristan-san. Y’know, the dude who saved Sylvie-neesama’s a-
“ahem.”
“aaauhh I mean, saved her from that stray bullet a while back?”Her teacher nodded approvingly. That made sense. It was always good for members of the royal family to visit those who had served them well, especially one who had saved a royal's life.
“So, what time were you back?”
“Not too late…I’d say by midnightish…”
“Oh? But I thought you said…”
“Well, we got home early and all…I just couldn’t sleep. That Anderson dude was bothering me…not to mention that Oba-san..” Ayame shivered slightly at the memory. Those eyes…creeped the living daylights out of her…
“Oba-san?” Ayame glanced over at her teacher and bobbed her head 'yes', still drowsy.
“Yea…she was *yawn* with Quack, I mean…Anderson-san…didn’t catch her name…but there was something about her that seemed funky…and not to mention, Sylvie-neesama was all uptight about the Doc…and then they both just randomly wheeled him off *yawn* been up all night thinking about it…seems weird y'know? Havin' a nurse visit a patient right after he's seen the Doc...” Ayame’s teacher looked long and hard at Ayame, as if trying to tell if the girl was just trying to worm her way out of another lesson. Well…she seemed honest…Ayame would say a lot of things to get out of lessons, but lying about one’s health was not one of them.
Ayame's head bobbed once more. Sighing, her teacher opened the door, causing Ayame to snap her head up and blink blearily.
“Sensei?”
“Today's lessons are finished. You may leave.” Ayame tilted her head slightly before a grateful smile came on her face.
“Thanks, sensei. I owe ya some cookies.” and with that she left the room, half slumping against the wall. Now, Ayame for the most part, was not the fragile type. She wasn't the type who needed her 10 hours of beauty rest in order to function. But last night was different. Not only had Ayame been awake the whole night, but she had gone down into one of the palace's many libraries and tried to find anything regarding Quack-san. She was rewarded with no luck. Ayame yawned again, much to the amusement of a servant passerby. “Bed. Need beeeedddd…or coffee. Yeaa...coffee sounds gooooood...” As she walked past her sister’s office, Ayame rose a delicate eyebrow. Did she hear rustling? And was the the occassional grunt of annoyance?“But shouldn't Sylvie-neesama be at the hospital, visiting Wounded-san?…” Ayame herself had thought of going earlier, but she had promised her elder sister that she would give them some alone time (much to her elder sister's disapproval). She furrowed her eyebrows slightly. While it was true that Sylvana seemed to resent any jokes Ayame might have made concerning herself and Tristan, it was obvious that she was going to visit the Captain. Ayame frowned slightly. She was positive she heard something...and no one else would be in there, right? No one would break in, right?
Ayame reached behind her back where Pon-Pon was securely strapped.
Knocking twice before entering, Ayame entered the office, her hand still in flinging position. What she saw, however, made her stop. There, amongst piles of paperwork, was her sister. Looking utterly livid. She blinked twice.
“Um…spring cleaning?”

Not at all in the mood for Ayame’s smart-alec comments, when Sylvana looked up at her sister it was with hard, angry eyes. The look softened only slightly as Sylvana looked at the sister she had failed to trust the night before, and she quickly turned her attention back to her computer screen. How could there be no records on this man? Well, there were some of course, but it was only basic information. Nothing even remotely helpful, and Sylvana didn’t know where else to look. She should have enough clearance to view whatever she needed, but… Considering that Anderson and Alastair seemed to have their own private matters…
Forgetting that Ayame was in her doorway for the moment, Sylvana growled angerly and slammed her hands onto the keyboard, demanding it to give her the information she so desperately needed, but it did her no good. There was a reason she didn’t know what was going on between them. There was a reason Alastair hadn’t told her, and her clearance wouldn’t get her into whatever files in the database he wanted to keep secret, if they were even available there at all. There was a high probability that Alastair had kept any files on Anderson in his personal records. If Sylvana wanted to get to those files she’d probably have to get them directly from Alastair himself… or his office.
“I swear, Anderson, if you dare to harm him. It will be the last experiment you ever perform.” Sylvana hissed as she rose from her chair with the intention of going to find the information she needed. It was only then that she acknowledged her sister standing in the doorway again. “Ayame.” Sylvana didn’t know what to say to her at first, but eventually settled on a normal response. “Shouldn’t you be at lessons, Ayame? I doubt that you were let out early.” Sylvana’s voice was tight even as she spoke to her sister. It was easier to control her anger for Ayame, but Sylvana didn’t even make an attempt to hide the fact that she was furious about something.

Ayame gulped slightly and involuntarily took a step back at the look Sylvana gave her. Wow. ‘Vexed’ was an understatement. ‘Wonder what crawled up her ass and died?’ Ayame thought, now clutching Pon-Pon, not in an aggressive manner, but rather in a defensive way.
Now Ayame, for the most part, was not easily frightened. She was not squeamish and very rarely did things make her want to go running down the palace halls, screaming “MOMMY!!” at the top of her lungs. This was one of them. Yea. Angry Sylvie. Most frightening indeed. It took everything in Ayame’s willpower to not bolt out of the office that instant and go cower under her many blankies.
“U-Uh…S-Sylvie-neesama? Is everything al- A bang from Sylvana’s end made Ayame jump in fright, her grip on Pon-Pon tightening. “I’ll take that as a ‘no’…” Ayame said, mostly to herself, as she laughed nervously, the urge to leave increasing tenfold. In fact, the only thing that was keeping her here was her curiosity as to why she wasn’t visiting Wounded-san. Ayame highly doubted that anything else that might have sprung up over night could have taken priority over making sure the Captain was still in one piece.
Ayame’s eyes widened slightly. Unless…
“I swear, Anderson, if you dare to harm him. It will be the last experiment you ever perform.” Ayame’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Experiment? Him? Anderson?
‘What’s up with Quack-san?’ she thought, her curiosity only increasing. Had something happened to Wounded-san? Had Sylvana already gone to visit only to find out something ubberly unpleasant? And did it involve Quack-san and that Oba-san? Ayame bit her thumb slightly in thought. She had an inky feeling about that Oba-san yesterday, but damn…she didn’t think she was right or anything!
“Ayame.” Ayame quickly stood up straight, hand up in salute.
“Hai!?”
“Shouldn’t you be at lessons, Ayame? I doubt that you were let out early.” Ayame rubbed the back of her neck and sidestepped to let her sister leave her office.
“Ehehe…believe it or not, Nee-sama…it seems sensei has been abducted and replaced by an alien. She let me off early…*yawn* so…wad up with Wounded-san? Thought you were gonna go pay him a visit?” Ayame said as she rubbed her eyes slightly. “*yaaawwwnn* Ugh…need coffee…oh, just so ya know, the libraries here are utterly useless.” she said bluntly, folding her arms across her chest. “I pulled an all-nighter last night, y’see, and I went hunting down for some info on Quack-san in the libraries….utterly useless if you ask me *yawn* filled with nothing but crap…even the restricted areas that I’m really not supposed to be looking in had nothing worthwhile. Bloody waste of my time…took me a good hour just to get in! “ Ayame said as she stretched widely, another yawn escaping her throat. Glancing up at her elder sister, Ayame shrugged slightly.
“So how’s Wounded-san keeping? Did the CAT Scan go well or do we need to hire a shrink?”

If she had been in a better mood, Sylvana would have sought proof that Ayame had been released from lessons early. Despite how often her teacher’s patience was worn thin, Sylvana had never known the woman to voluntarily let the young princess out early to cause havoc elsewhere. In her current mood however, the first princess was very willing to believe just about anything Ayame had to say. Be that as it may, Sylvana wasn’t exactly in a mood to listen to her sister’s chatter. The fact that Ayame couldn’t find anything about Anderson in the library was considerably less than reassuring, and only served to continue to limit Sylvana’s options on where to look for more information. She didn’t know what she would do when she ran out of options. She didn’t even want to think about it.
“So how’s Wounded-san keeping? Did the CAT Scan go well or do we need to hire a shrink?”
Sylvana’s hands tightened into fists again and the tension returned to her shoulders. “There was no CAT scan.” She hissed out sharply. “You were right. That woman… she took him to Anderson. He’s abducted him. I have to find them before Anderson does anything to him.” She growled. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming. I should have listened to you.” She said slamming her hand down on her desk again. Only the small semblance of self control the first princess retained kept her from using that same hand to swipe everything off her desk. Chances were that would make the situation worse not better.

Alastair starred out the window of his private AirJet as he reflected over the message he had recieved late last night from Anderson. It wouldnt take long for his AirJet to reach the Tokyo Settlement so he had informed the soldier taking him to Area 11 to send a message of his arrival to Sylvanna. He was unsure of what her reaction would be to the entire situation and what her true emotions were but that was something he could have only said before he was a prince and "given" the right to be "King". No ones true intentions were hidden from Alastair any longer they could lie through their teeth but he always knew what a person was feeling.
The jet moving at incredible spped was soon to arrive at the Tokyo settlement and no doubt Sylvie would be more than egar to meet with him. He placed his hand on his cheeck as he mused over the fact of why Tristan and Sylvie had such a strong relationship together. But his mind wandered to the security of what Sylvie would be planning if Anderson had given his true name to Sylvanna than sure enough she would conduct her own research on him. Even so there were no records of him that held useful information. They had been destroyed long ago.
But sure enough Sylvanna would know that he was the one who was funding him so naturally Sylvanna would be off to etract information from him. He smiled to himself at the thought of the game between the two of them; Cat and mouse. Sylvie though she might think shes the cat was unaware of who in depth the whole situation truly was. He brushed to the side some of his hair that had fallen ove his eyes as he saw land comming into view. "Excellent. Soldier you have sent word to the Area 11 Soldiers of my arrival havent you?"
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
Alastair thought to himself once more. 'Well Sylvie lets play Cat and Mouse." ==============================================
A Few Minutes before Alastairs arrival
“So how’s Wounded-san keeping? Did the CAT Scan go well or do we need to hire a shrink?”
“There was no CAT scan.” She hissed out sharply. “You were right. That woman… she took him to Anderson. He’s abducted him. I have to find them before Anderson does anything to him.” She growled. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming. I should have listened to you.”
A stumbuling soldier had recieved word of the Upcoming Emperor's arrival and had requested that Sylvanna be notified immediately. He nervously walked to the door way where he had heard the last bits of conversation they had.
"Your....Hi..Hig..Highnessss.....Um....H...his...Majesty.....Emperor...Ala...Alastair..De..Britannia..has....ar...rived...to...meet...with....the both.....of...you." As soon as he finished to relay the message the soldier turnned tail and ran off as fast as he could before he heard the angry voice of her highness

“There was no CAT scan. You were right. That woman… she took him to Anderson. He’s abducted him. I have to find them before Anderson does anything to him.” Ayame blinked slowly, her mouth agape.
“Holy…shit.” was all she could say. Sure, she had an inky feeling about that Oba-san, sure she found it weird that Tristan had gotten a visit from her right after seeing Quack-san…but never, ever, ever did Ayame think her gut was speaking the truth. She just thought she was overreacting, since that Oba-san had creepy eyes. Only reason why she had pulled an all-nighter was because she vaguely remembered Quack-san and was just curious to learn more, especially given Sylvie-neesama’s reaction. Nothing more…she didn’t seriously believe that both of them were psychos who went off and captainnapped Tristan! “Holy crap on a stick…” Ayame said, biting out a laugh. Well. This was certainly interesting.
“I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming. I should have listened to you.” Ayame smiled pitifully at her elder sister. Damn…girl was really beating herself over this, wasn’t she? Very rarely did Sylvana loose cool…only time Ayame could remember seeing her sister go absolutely bonkers was when she first ran away from the Pendragon…
Ayame reached out and patted her sister on the back twice, comfortingly. As upset as Ayame was over the situation (after all, Tristan was her Wounded-san), she knew that someone would have to try to maintain some kind of a lax attitude. Ayame was known for her laxness. “C’mon, Sylvie-neesama…perk up, will ya? Us abusing the technology isn’t gonna help us find our darling Wounded-san, now is it? I understand you are angry as hell right now, I mean seriously-I can see the smoke coming from your ears-but we gotta remember the old fashioned rule: Oxygen is our friend, Carbon Dioxide is not. Breathe~” she said, giving her sister a wide smile. “We’ll find the jackass, and we’ll find him before he gets to go a la mad scientist on Tristan and make him into some deranged cyborg. Ne?” Stretching widely, Ayame threw Pon-Pon up and down twice, an evil glint in her eyes. That Quack-san was going to wish he had never gone to Med school if her darling Wounded-san wasn’t in top condition…
“Looks like a little trip to Area 11 is in order…seeing that there is nothing here, what better place than the slums?” Ayame mentally nodded to herself, her energy completely restored. Area 11 was an occasional visitation spot for the third princess…she often went when either a) to escape her lessons or b) to find out about something. The information network there was uncanny…Ayame had already made contacts with the best ones. She grinned widely. Yes, surely paying a little visit would prove to be beneficial. “ne, Nee-sama…just so ya know, I’m gonna head over to-
"Your....Hi..Hig..Highnessss.....Um....H...his...Majesty.....Emperor...Ala...Alastair..De..Britannia..has.. ..ar...rived...to...meet...with....the both.....of...you." Ayame turned her head, only to see the solider who had delivered the message bolt off in the direction from where he came. An eyebrow rose slightly. Okay. That was random.
But…the Emperor coming home meant that Ayame’s little plan would have to be put on hold for the time being. She pouted slightly. ‘Great timing as always, Nii-sama…’ she thought, sighing slightly. She could get Alastair wanting to see Sylvana and all, given the age closeness and the whole ‘first born’ thingy, but why her as well? If it was about some diplomatic issue, Ayame was the last person to consult! This sort of thing wasn’t her forte…interrogating and overall psychological torture was. She frowned slightly. This seemed to be too much of a coincidence…for Alastair to suddenly come back and request both of the princesses who had visited Tristan, who just went MIA due to some Doc who was apparently sent by the Emperor.
Ayame’s nose crinkled slightly.
“I smell fish.”

Izumi was actually unbeknownst to everyone - sitting in a corner outside the room, deep in thought. "How did I, how did I let it happen?" He whispered, his mind effectively shattered by recent events. He had failed to protect a fellow Captain, and quite possibly the only person who had Izumi's full respect, both the mandatory, and the voluntary. He claimed to be some super soldier, yet he had failed just like any other soul. He was supposed to have been in the hospital whilst Tristan was recovering, but instead he had used the excuse of area 18 to pull him away. It wasn't that he didn't like area 11, it was just he had a... history here.

“We’ll find the jackass, and we’ll find him before he gets to go a la mad scientist on Tristan and make him into some deranged cyborg. Ne?”
As innocent as Ayame had meant the comment, it still wasn’t pleasant to think about. Sylvana didn’t know the nature of Anderson’s research at all. She knew he was a doctor, and it was what type of doctor that concerned her. He certainly did give off the ‘mad scientist’ vibe as Ayame had suggested, and that wasn’t exactly the type of person Sylvana was comfortable leaving trusted officers with unsupervised. Especially not when she’d already seen said mad scientist kidnap a soldier. Still, Sylvana took her sister’s advice and took a deep breath, letting herself calm down at least a little bit. “That’s not exactly helpful, Ayame.” Sylvana said with a slight smile. That smile quickly left when a soldier hesitantly edged his way into the doorway.
"Your....Hi..Hig..Highnessss.....Um....H...his...Majesty.....Emperor...Ala...Alastair..De..Britannia..has.. ..ar...rived...to...meet...with....the both.....of...you."
In a surprising display of wisdom, the soldier bolted right after delivering the message. Sylvana’s hand had immediately closed around the nearest object she could use as a projectile weapon, which in this case happened to be her wireless mouse. She released her grip on the object as the soldier vanished down the hallway. None of this was helping her stress level.
Alastair was both the first and last person Sylvana wanted to see at the moment. While she would like nothing more than to get information about Anderson out of him, she seriously doubted she would. There was a reason she didn’t already know who the man was. There was a reason her elder brother had been keeping things from her, and leaving her out of the loop in that regard. Sylvana understood there were things she didn’t need to know, things that were now Alastair’s duty and she had no place in, but when those secrets started to appear as road blocks for something Sylvana was doing, she had no problem in attempting to expose them. If Alastair had kept Anderson’s business, whatever it was, from her until now, she seriously doubted he would suddenly reconsider that decision. That considered, Sylvana had no time to meet with her brother right now.
“I smell fish.”
“Rotten fish.” Sylvana amended before taking several more deep breaths. “Tell Alastair I’m busy. Tell him I'm gone. Tell him I don’t want to see him. I don’t particularly care, but I just can’t meet him right now. Can you do that for me, Ayame?” Sylvana asked, coming around her desk to put any and all possible projectiles behind her incase another soldier, or better yet Alastair himself, decided to appear with more ill-timed news.

OOC: OK well in this post I'm about to use my Geass so to all of you who don't know how it works its in my profile or in the custom geass section. Walking with an elegance and grace that only befitted an Emperor Alastair boarded off the Air Jet and was being escorted by a variety of soldiers. It felt rather odd that he out of all people in the Imperial family was able to play the role of an Emperor so well after all years prior to this he was exiled from Britannian as a banished prince. He lived in poverty in Area 11 until he had been chosen to ascend the throne by his late fathers will. It never made sense to him why but he did know his sister was responsible but since than she disappeared so the truth had always alluded him. "Hmmmmm.' He opened up his coat and pulled out a pair of dark sunglass custom made for him by Anderson. He smiled as he put them on just above his hair all he had to do know was slide them down and once he did activate his Geass. Luckily his Geass only need to be activated so he could tell a persons true intentions, of course due to the specially made sunglasses nobody would be able to tell the strange signal in his eyes. Now all he had to do was misled his sister away from the truth. These matters were of nothing to be concerned with the Royal Imperial family and if they did interfere he could not guarantee the safety of them. He was waging a righteous war against the war, one where people could only exist on his side or be against him. That being said Alastair really wasn't sure how things had escalated to this point at time he like all people had doubts whether their actions were the best for whatever reasons they may be, for themselves, for their loved ones, for the good of society. This were the doubts that often plagued his mind day and night. At times they often felt like a nightmare even his own personal hell but he took solace in the fact that there was light at the end of the tunnel. He breathed heavy as he dismissed the royal guard to the hall ways. Now all that was left is begin the performance with his sisters. Another sly smile came to cross his face as he walked to the direction of where some soldier informed him where he could find his sisters.

“Tell Alastair I’m busy. Tell him gone. Tell him I don’t want to see him. I don’t particularly care, but I just can’t meet him right now. Can you do that for my, Ayame?”
Easier said than done, Sylvie-neesama…” Ayame thought to herself as she left her sister’s office, letting the door shut behind her, her body leaning against the wooden frame for a few seconds. Honestly. ‘Tell him I don’t want to see him’ she says. As if Alastair would accept that. The man wasn’t the Emperor for nothing, ya know! Even though they were only half related, Alastair was just as stubborn as Ayame at time. It was in the family.
Sighing deeply, Ayame stood up straight, and prepared to fulfill her sister’s request.
“How did I, how did I let it happen?" Ayame’s ears twitched slightly as she turned her head to the left. Did she hear something? Tilting her head slightly, Ayame walked towards one of the corners of the hall, nearby one of the vases, where she thought she heard the voice.
“Hel…lo?” she asked tentatively as her eyes began to make out a figure in the slight darkness. Hm. Some solider. Who apparently looked distraught. Ayame smiled slightly as she hopped over to the man, suddenly bending down on her knees before him. “Hey!” she chirped, peering closer to get a better look at the man. Yup. Definitely some emo-soldier. As for what his name was, Ayame had no clue. Hey, there were too many soldiers in the Military to keep count! Feeling slightly vindicated with this thought, Ayame reached across from her and pinched the man’s right cheek, her signature grin on her face. “I dunno what crawled up your ass and died dude, but perk up! You look like your favorite pet canary just hit the bucket.” She tilted her head to one side, an honest smile on her face. “You wanna talk about it?” she asked, tilting back and forth on the balls of her feet, Pon-Pon clutched in front of her. “I’m not one for drama and all that jazz, but you look like you could use some venting…or some sort of comfort pillow. The latter not being on hand right now. So. Spill.” she said, readying herself for what she presumed was going to be some long, melodramatic speech about the woes of the Military.
The sudden sound of whirring followed by a muffled groan of anger from the door behind her, caused Ayame to shriek slightly and snap her head to look down the hall. She had forgotten! She was supposed to run into Alastair-niisama and make sure the country wasn’t Emperor-less come tomorrow! “Shit, damn, fuck, kuso” Ayame chanted to herself as she snapped her head back to Emo-san. A twang of guilt hit the bottom of her stomach. Ugh. “Uh…don’t take this the wrong way or anything, but I uh…forgot I have to go do something ASAP. Um, I’d be happy to listen to you later, if you want. Uh…um…err…here! Take this! Makeshift comfort pillow!” Ayame said as she stuffed Pon-Pon into the man’s arms, before standing up straight and bolting off in the opposite direction. (OOC: figured here is where you can put in that tracking device we mentioned earlier, Jonny ^^) “His name is Pon-Pon by the way! If anyone tries to take him you have my permission to nom-nom!” Ayame called as she continued to run down the hall, her face paling in slight panic. Would suck major monkey ass if she didn’t run into her brother and that somehow he got to Sylvana. Ayame shivered slightly at the thought. Yea. And somehow it would all be her fault.
“Lets just hope I get to him on time…don’t want to cause any unnecessary drama…sooner I get this over with (whatever ‘this’ is), the sooner I can go snoo-
“Oomf!" Ayame turned a sharp right, only to collide head on with a much taller person. “Aah…sorry ‘bout that…was looking the other wa..ay.” Ayame trailed off as her eyes landed on the person she collided with. The Emperor. Ayame quickly stood up straight, her right hand going to her head in a salute. “Alastair-Niisama! Welcome back home! I hope you had a….ahh crap. Can’t do it.” Ayame sighed as she lowered her hand, her stance casual. “No matter what sensei says, I can’t seem to do the whole ‘salute the Emperor’ thing. Sorry Nii-sama.” she grinned cheekily. “Welcome back dude. Missed ya.” she said, suddenly wrapping her arms around the taller man’s waist and squeezed as hard as she could, giving a wholehearted hug. After a few seconds, she let go, her grin still plastered on her face. “So, how was your trip? Anything funky happen? Bring back anything weird? I remember those mushrooms you brought back last time were divine. Oh, by the way, Sylvie-neesama can’t see you right now. She’s uhh…preoccupied. Hope ya don’t mind or anything.” Ayame said, laughing slightly. “So uh…what’s up?”

He felt someone bump into him and he stumbeled back lightly from the collision. He soon doned an annoyed look on his face but when he saw who it was he let it go. 'Just the person i wanted to see,' Alastair thought. He was about to lower his glasses and activate his geass when Ayame greeted him in the usual manner she greets everyone. He felt her give him a tight hug and he hugged back as best as he could given the situation. Once Ayame was off him he lowered his glasses to his face and activated his Geass, know her true intentions would manifist themselves.
"Well you know same old boring matters i have to attend to Ayame. It seems like I never have a moments peace and when i finally do i have to spend it working on anything else that could be problamtic for me later down the line." He placed his hand on Ayame's head and ruffled her hair slightly. "You know its strange to see you......well i mean to say to see you with out Pon-Pon, does this mean my little sister doesnt need him anymore." He laughed slightly he never did think he would see the day when Ayame wouldnt be holding Pon-Pon.
But than remembered what Ayame just said. 'Sylvie-neesama can’t see you right now. She’s uhh…preoccupied.'. "Hmmmm" The only reason why she might not want to meet with me now is that shes either still searching for information on Anderson o really really angry right now. He thought about te situation once more and decided that it seemed more probable to be the latter.
"Well I wonder what Sylvie is so busy that she cant meet with me know i mean afterall Im the Emperor and everything i should be able to see whoever I want." Alastair said Grimely. He stared down at Ayame waiting for her response before he bursted out laughing. It took him a few minutes to stop laughing so he could finish what he was saying.
"That really doesnt sound like me does it? Or at least i hope that really isnt how i sound like now......Anyways if Sylvie is busy i can just talk to you about this i mean im not sure how well informed you are about the situation." His voice this time had a geniune seriousness as he gave Ayame a 'this is important look'.
"Like i was saying this is really important i mean i had to skip a day of my usual work when i found out. After all i thought everything was going smoothly and than this happens after all how often is their something that comes up now a days where i have to solve it personally. And when i have to get involved things tend to go.......unfortunate. So than am i going to have to end up dealing with planning the security for my own wedding as well as planning this out because i really cant handle all the stress from this added on to my usual stress."

Izumi lifted his head slightly when who else but Ayame Li Britannia herself shoved into his arms what appeared to be a... panda? Wait wasn't this what she always carried around with her? Well considering Ayame was the one who always went around without any form of bodyguard to protect her, and just in case she ever got herself into a spot of trouble, he quickly shoved beneath its tail a small microphone, one which he could easily track even if she was in Shinjuku. He stood up, might as well return it, he was a soldier, he didn't need a comfort pillow, though the thought was... nice.
He followed Ayame just barely through the halls, she sure was fast, no wonder her teacher couldn't keep her in any lessons. He finally saw her stop, right in front of... oh dear. It was the Emperor himself! He immediately went into full salute, "Good day to you My Emperor, Izumi Kaoto reporting. I'm... sorry sir. I failed to protect one of your captains, and the son of a council noble. No doubt they're already planning to have a major go at you about it. Also Princess, thanks for the thought, but I don't need this." He said as he handed the little Panda back to her. He then returned his gaze to the Emperor, "As a result of Captain Leodegrance's kidnapping, I am now the highest ranking military officer within the entirety of Area 11, and as the highest ranking officer I would like to request that more forces be diverted to this area. Since not only is the threat of the Black Knights rising, but if Captains are being kidnapped from hospitals in broad daylight, who knows how long it'll be before someone decides to go one higher and target the royalty?"

Ayame couldn’t help but snort at Alastair’s comment about her lack of a Pon-Pon. Her not need the giant stuffed panda of doom? please The chances of her enrolling in the Miss Britannia Beauty Pageant were higher. Ayame adjusted her cap slightly, looking behind her where Emo-Solider-san had been. Meh. She would grab Pon-Pon later. The man looked like he needed something soft and squishy. And fuzzy.
"Well I wonder what Sylvie is so busy that she cant meet with me know I mean after all I’m the Emperor and everything I should be able to see whoever I want." Ayame turned her head back to her brother, eyes widened slightly in shock, her eyebrows ascending heavenwards. Well. She blinked once. Wasn’t this…weird? Hearing those words from Alastair gave Ayame the sudden urge to reach up and check the man’s temperature. It took every willpower in her to not do so. After all, Alastair may be the Emperor and whatnot, but he wasn’t the flamboyant ‘I am Zeh Emporah! Worship me, bitches!’ type. Sure he could be stubborn as a mule and sometimes made stupid mistakes, but he wasn’t a jackass. So hearing this rendered Ayame completely speechless.
A few seconds later, however, Ayame saw her Alastair begin to crack up. Oh great. Now he’s gone crazy. Ayame blinked again. Was it just her or did it seem that everyone around her was suffering from some sort of mood swing? This one being the most alarming, given the fact that it was the Emperor who was laughing a la mad scientist just now.
“U-Uh Alastair-niisama..are you-
"That really doesn’t sound like me does it? Or at least I hope that really isn’t how I sound like now......Anyways if Sylvie is busy I can just talk to you about this I mean I’m not sure how well informed you are about the situation." Ayame paused mid talk, her head immediately tilting to one side. Huh. Guess he wasn’t going crazy. Ayame mentally shrugged. Well, that was good news. As for the other bit of his statement, however…
Ayame’s eyebrows furrowed in slight confusion. If there was one thing that Ayame was known for it was for being a loud, obnoxious, sugar loaded, dirt loving, pink hating, spazz case. Hardly the consultation/advising type. Very rarely was she briefed in on political matters. Of course, she knew the basics as standard of her lessons, but everything else she knew she knew from her own curiosity. If it weren’t for her nosey nature, odds were Ayame would be oblivious to half of the problems she knew of. But other members of the royal family felt that there was no need for the Third Princess to know. After all, why should she? All she had to know was the jist and all would be well. So why the sudden question? What ‘situation’ was Alastair referring to? Ayame’s eyebrows crinkled further. ‘he couldn’t be talking about the Wounded-san case, could he? What would the Emperor have to do with the whereabouts of a captain? Well, he did save neesama’s ass and all, but still…’ Ayame bit her lip slightly in aggravation. Gah! So many damn questions running through her head!
“Well, I’m not exactly the best shrink available, but if you wanna vent out the woes of the throne, go ahead. I’m all ears.” Ayame said, shrugging slightly as she stuffed her hands into her pockets. “As for this ‘situation’ you are talkin’ about, if you mean the fact that Wounded-san is in fact not where Wounded-san-ish people should be, aka the hospital, then yeah I know some bits and bobs. Sylvie-neesama and I visited him yesterday night. He seemed pretty okies…a little pale, but I guess that’s what happens when you go and get yourself freaking shot. Idiot. Anywhose, I made him my usual ‘get better via chocolate’ gift basket and we nom-nomed on it for a bit, watched I Love Lucy re-runs, I yelled death threats, the usual. So all was well and then this Quack of a Doc comes in-he said ya sent him or something. Name was Anderson, I think. Sylvie didn’t get the happy vibe from him. He seemed okies to me, nothing special. Though he was a little bit off in his methods, if ya ask me. I dunno. Anyways, as soon as he left, this Oba-san comes in. Now she was someone I can say was creepy. Seriously! Those eyes! Scared the living daylights out of me. Plus she looked like some wannabe old tranny. But yea, apparently she was a ‘nurse’ and said that dear Captain-san needed to get his head examined. So we left and next morning, voila! He is gone!” Ayame said, taking in a deep breath when she was done. “So that’s about all I know of....any of it help?”
“Good day to you My Emperor, Izumi Kaoto reporting. I'm... sorry sir. I failed to protect one of your captains, and the son of a council noble. No doubt they're already planning to have a major go at you about it. Also Princess, thanks for the thought, but I don't need this.” Ayame snapped her head around to see standing, in full military salute, the solider from before. Her eyes widened in recognition.
“Ah! Emo-san!” She blurted out as she skipped over to him, reclaiming her beloved Pon-Pon.
As a result of Captain Leodegrance's kidnapping, I am now the highest ranking military officer within the entirety of Area 11, and as the highest ranking officer I would like to request that more forces be diverted to this area. Since not only is the threat of the Black Knights rising, but if Captains are being kidnapped from hospitals in broad daylight, who knows how long it'll be before someone decides to go one higher and target the royalty?" Ayame’s eyebrow shot up. So the dude knew too, huh? Word spread fast amongst the military. Gossip Queens.
But this guy’s idea…Ayame could not say she was crazy about it. “Objection! First off, Wounded-san’s ass was hauled off late at night, like maybe 11:30-midnightish, not in broad daylight. Secondly, frankly the idea of sending in more troops here seems stupid. For one thing, we got more than wanted here; adding more troops would only bring unrest to the civilians. And who says us royalty can’t defend ourselves? I dunno about the rest of my family, but I sure as hell find it pretty goddamn annoying to have some guy with a gun breathing down my neck 24/7. It’s hard enough as it is to avoid you peeps…don’t you dare make it any more difficult.” Ayame said, giving Izumi her ‘I dare you to object’ looks, her hand stroking Pon-Pon in a menacing fashion. Sighing slightly, Ayame threw Pon-Pon up and down twice, her shoulders slightly slumped. “Look. I get what ya trying to say, given what’s happen and whatnot. But I just don’t feel that wasting time and money here where it could go somewhere else where it is needed is the best course of action. But then again, I’m just some crazy hyperactive teen. What do I know?” Ayame smiled crookedly as she turned on her heel to leave. “I actually have something I wanna go do…boredom is hitting me hard, so in order to avoid getting in trouble I am going to go find myself some coffee. Alastari-niisama, I honestly don’t know how consulting me would be of any use. You’re best bet might be to chat with Mr. Highest Ranking Officer over there.”

Izumi was... speechless. Even Sylvana hadn't given him a stern talking to like this. Ayame might have been know military expect, but she knew her citizens - hell he wasn't sure if they'd made her Viceroy behind his back, wouldn't surprise him. "I-I'm sorry Princess." He stuttered, the first time he could recall doing so. "But its just I meant he was kidnapped in such a public place, and that if we didn't have more troops spread around then there'd..." He stopped. What the hell was he saying?! This was too much. He'd charged himself with the capture of the very woman that escaped from his grasp - Sakura Shizuka - trying to find Tristan, keeping an eye on Ayame, and now taking command of the Britannian forces. It didn't take an ultimate soldier to realise this was stupid. "My Majesty." He said addressing the emperor, "Please disregard everything I just said, I was... getting out of hand." He said as he left without another word.
